Andy is a producer and a psychotherapist operating a private practice in Woodside, CA. Prior to becoming a therapist, Andy worked in high-tech marketing for two successful start-up companies, S3 Incorporated and NVIDIA Corporation. Andy has shared his expertise as a volunteer, trustee and board chair of Phillips Brooks School and currently as a board member for Fit Kids, a non-profit that provides structured physical fitness activities to under served youths. He is an avid supporter of the arts, including as an Executive Producer of the films Andy Irons:Kissed By God (2018) and The US Festival 1982: The US Generation Documentary (2017) and for Alex Jordan's debut album, The Subtle Exhibitionist (2020). He also produced a film short, The Kook (2020). He is also producing a soon to be released documentary on the musical legacy of the Grateful Dead and recently founded a new nonprofit that helps musicians obtain musical gear that will launch in 2021. He has produced several concerts for worthy causes, including Merry Jerry, which provides funding for Jerry Day celebrating the life, music and memory of Jerry Garcia. He is the current steward of Jerry Garcia's Alligator Guitar and his Martin D-28 and has a large collection of Grateful Dead-inspired instruments and gear and has privately loaned or donated these to several pro players and jam bands. Andy is also an avid surfer and is passionate about his family, the environment, social justice, writing, and attending live music.
