Lindsay O'Keefe is a senior at NYU Tisch School of the Arts majoring in Film and Television and minoring in Disability Studies. She will graduate in December, 2024. For summer 2024, she is the Post-Production Intern at Campfire Studios in Los Angeles. In the spring, she was a Production Intern at Blowback Productions, founded by three-time Emmy Award winner Marc Levin. While there, she worked as a Production Assistant on the HBO feature documentary "An American Bombing: the Road to April 19." Katie Couric was the Executive Producer. In the Fall of 2023, she was a Distribution Intern at Women Make Movies, the largest distributor of films by and about women in the world.
Lindsay's primary interests are in documentary filmmaking, editing, and disability rights. She recently directed and edited a short documentary titled "Rock Star" about a young musician's unconventional journey in New York City. In 2020-21, her short documentary titled "Alive Day" about a Paralympic swimmer appeared in over a dozen film festivals across the country, including the Seattle International Film Festival and the Cleveland International Film Festival. The documentary won the Best Local Documentary Award at the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival and the Outstanding Documentary Award at the Short. Sweet. Film. Festival.
