G Herbo, born Herbert Wright, admitted to participating in a scheme that used stolen credit card information to fund private jet excursions, a trip to a villa in Jamaica, exotic car rentals, and “designer puppies.”
On Friday, Wright pleaded guilty in federal court in Springfield, Massachusetts, to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and making false statements to a federal official.
In a written statement, Acting United States Attorney Joshua S. Levy said Wright “used stolen account information as his very own unlimited funding source” in order to fund “an extravagant lifestyle and advance his career.

I recently finished reading Book Three of March, the graphic novel autobiography of Atlanta Congressman and civil rights leader John Lewis. I had never heard of Lewis prior to encountering March, but having now read it, I’ve gained a better picture of not only his life, but of the internal and external obstacles that the Civil Rights movement navigated in the 50s and 60s.
