Victoria Macabu
- Actress
Fearless and funny since the age of two years, Victoria knew then, that she wanted to be an actor. She would point to the TV and tell her parents, that's what she wanted to be doing. She would repeat the lines of whatever was on, word for word! Victoria began her acting/vocal training at 9 years of age. In her first job, she was cast as the 12 year old version of Kate on the hit series "This is Us" in 2016. After filming, the producers decided that having four age groups (infant-toddler/ 6-8 yrs/ 12-13 yrs/ and 18-21 yrs) of the primary cast was confusing. Unfortunately, her age group was deleted. All of her scenes that were already produced were rewritten for the other age groups and filmed over again. This was a difficult learning experience for a young actor but it taught Victoria how to be resilient and a leader.
Victoria is Brazilian-American and speaks Spanish and Portuguese. She is the co-President of La Raza at her high school where she is also a cheerleader; secretary of the Heavy Metal Club; a member of Girls Who Code and on the Teen Health Council Board.
