Well, here we go again. One of the best superhero content of the current times, The Boys is back with a brand new season and this time it is even more crazier than ever before. Created by Eric Kripke and based on a comic book series of the same name, the superhero dark comedy series follows a group of vigilantes as they go up against morally bankrupt superheroes led by a maniacal Superman-like supe Homelander.
In Season 4 we will see Billy Butcher getting The Boys back together to go up against Homelander and his minions as he doesn’t have much time left after the events of Season 3. The Boys spin-off series Gen V is also going to play a big role in the upcoming season as a supe-killing virus that was introduced in the spin-off series is probably going to be the main MacGuffin of the season.

Possible spoilers for "The Boys" follow.
We now have a new trailer for season 4 of bloody superhero satire "The Boys," and it looks like a full-blown supe-pocalypse is boiling. After the end of "The Boys" season 3, when Homelander (Antony Starr) killed a protestor in front of a crowd and got only cheers, he's no longer content with being a mere celebrity. No, he's reshaping the Seven into "wrathful gods." He's also Congresswoman Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit), a head-popping supe and Vice Presidential candidate, in his pocket.
Fans of "The Boys" comics (by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson) might see where this is all going. In "The Boys" volume 11 (issues #60-65), "Over the Hill with the Swords of a Thousand Men," Homelander launches a coup against the U.S. government and the Boys go to war to overthrow him. Without spoiling all the twists in between, issue #65 concludes with team leader Billy...

The Boys Season Four: Billy Butcher Gets The Band Back Together In Bloody Beautiful Official Trailer
Last night during their Ccxp presentation, Prime Video launched the first official trailer for The Boys season four and it's every bit as batshit crazy as we've come to expect from Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and his gang of lovable misfits.
Picking up a short while after the events of season three, which aired in 2022, the trailer quickly reacquaints us to the world of The Boys, with Billy doing his best to make amends with his former team. With the squad not exactly keen on bringing him back into the fold, he seemingly reveals his terminal diagnosis and then it seems like it'll be all hands on deck as our favorite band of heroes team up to take down Homelander (Antony Starr) once and for all.
In addition to Urban and Starr, the returning main cast includes Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone,...

The official trailer for "The Boys" season 4 just dropped, and it looks like some of the antiheroes in Prime Video's hit series are having a bit of an identity crisis. "Violence isn't brave," Jack Quaid's Hughie says at one point, noting that the titular kill squad should probably stop killing everyone if they actually want to save the world. Of course, in typical "The Boys" fashion, that nice sentiment is surrounded on all sides by violence: rooms full of dead bodies, a leg getting sawed off, and a guy going splat against a building, among other (gross) things.
That last kill will surely be of interest to fans of the series, as it's committed by Butcher's own stepson, Ryan (Cameron Crovetti), who's now under the tutelage of his biological dad, weirdo supervillain Homelander (Antony Starr). After he seemingly explodes a guy against a building, Ryan is rewarded with...

We have received a preview trailer and several posters, and today, a new proper trailer was released in preparation for the premiere.

When Amazon’s “The Boys” debuts its fourth season next month, things are shaping up to be crazier than the time they blew up a whale and that other time they blew up a giant penis, as it seems Butcher (Karl Urban) and Homelander (Antony Starr) are ready to burn their whole lives down — and take everyone else with them.
In “The Boys” Season 4 trailer, Butcher reveals to Hughie (Jack Quaid), Starlight (Erin Moriarty) and the rest of the Boys that time is running out for him, and with the few numbered days he and his weakened heart have left, he’s looking to unleash a deadly virus on the supe community. To get the job done, Butcher has teamed up with new character, played by “Supernatural” alum Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who seems to want supes wiped out entirely as soon as possible to save humanity.

Giancarlo Esposito has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe... but not as the character he's been campaigning to play over the past few months.
The actor has expressed interest in taking over from Sir Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy as the next big-screen incarnation of Professor Charles Xavier on several occasions, although he wasn't too keen on one particular aspect of the character.
"I've given it a cursory glance in my brain, and immediately I go 'Hmm,'" he said during a recent interview with Fade To Black . "'[It would] be great to play Professor X in some other incarnation than just the wheelchair. Right? Because the physical idea of being in a wheelchair every single day does not appeal to me. The Boys are heading to Ccxp Mexico this weekend (where we might finally get a new trailer), and Prime Video has debuted some new season 4 key art featuring Billy Butcher and the gang crashing Homelander's party.
As we know, the psychotic leader of The Seven will be joining Victoria Neuman on the Presidential campaign trail, and almost certainly has designs on the Oval Office himself.
Butcher doesn't have long to live following his diagnosis in the season 3 finale, but you can bet your ass he'll be using what time he has left to make Homelander's life as difficult as possible.

As if taking his older brother Alexander’s hulking, muscular presence in Robert Eggers’s The Northman as a personal challenge, Bill Skarsgård cuts an imposing figure in Moritz Mohr’s Boy Kills World. Every bit as jacked up as a professional wrestler, Skarsgård looks the part of a man hell-bent on revenge against Hilda Van Der Koy (Famke Janssen), the dictator who hosts an annual televised event in the film’s post-apocalyptic landscape known as The Culling, which claimed the lives of our hero’s family when he was a child.
Given his brawniness and the relentlessly brutal means with which he trains for his vendetta in the forest with the help of an Asian shaman (Yayan Ruhian), it’s more than a little dissonant that our deaf-mute protagonist, Boy, has his inner thoughts expressed in voiceover by H. A couple months ago, Prime Video announced that The Boys season 4 is set to start streaming on June 13th – and this season is getting started with a three episode premiere! The first three episodes will be available to watch as of June 13th, then the remaining five episodes will be released on a weekly basis, concluding with the epic season finale on July 18th. With two months to go until the premiere date, showrunner Eric Kripke has taken to social media to announce that the season 4 is completely finished now – and it may be the best season yet!
Kripke wrote, “As of today, The Boys season 4 is completely, totally, absolutely Done. I’m really grateful & so proud of this cast & crew. Could be our best yet. Signature Entertainment have nabbed the UK rights for Moritz Mohr’s Boy Kills World, which is in UK cinemas in April. More on the film below.
Bill Skarsgård has seemingly dedicated 2024 to roles that push him to be increasingly nutty with each passing film. The Pennywise actor is set to appear in both Boy Kills World, Nosferatu and The Crow this year, all of which look positively deranged.

After a lengthy hiatus and the premiere of the spin-off series “Gen V,” the wait for new episodes of “The Boys” is finally coming to an end. Eric Kripke’s satirical superhero franchise returns to Prime Video in 2024, and a new trailer promises that Season 4 will be every bit as dramatic (and R-rated) as its predecessors.
The new trailer, which debuted at Ccxp São Paulo on Saturday, shows the supes dealing with the aftermath of their battle with Homelander (Anthony Starr) and preparing for a looming election as the existence of superheroes becomes an increasingly polarizing topic in America.

With every passing season, Amazon Prime’s adaptation of Garth Ennis and Darrick Robertson’s The Boys seems to be playing “can you top this?” in terms of going where no other heroic series has not dared to go.
The third season, out on disc just months before the fourth season drops, mainly focuses on the increasingly callous Homelander (Antony Star) fighting Starlight (Erin Moriarty) for the heart and soul of The Seven. When Vought named her co-leader, he was far from thrilled and let everyone know. The group of underground heroes – led by Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) trying to take down Homelander and expose their sponsor’s corruption almost seems sidelined this season.
There were interesting twists and turns across the eight episodes, such as Butcher’s protégé Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid) working with Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) at the Fbsa (Federal Bureau of Superhuman Affairs). His romance with Starlight remains rocky,...

The Boys has been known to push boundaries as far as they can go during its successful three-season run. And according to this returning cast member, season 4 may turn out to be the most outrageous season yet.
‘The Boys’ may get even crazier in season 4 according to a returning cast member Antony Star, Karl Urban, and Cameron Crovetti in ‘The Boys’ | Amazon Prime
The Boys will see many of its original cast returning for the fourth installment of the series. Simon Pegg, who made a very brief appearance in season 3, will also be coming back to reprise his role as Hugh Campbell. The actor had fairly decent screen time earlier in the series playing Hughie’s father.
His role diminished overtime, with the show diverting focus to a roster of newer characters. But Pegg should be featured more prominently in the upcoming season, which the star shared would more than...

The Boys and Invincible already had enough in common with both being superhero shows on Amazon Prime. But as early as season 1, The Boys added an element to the show that wasn’t present in the comics. This minor change only added more similarities between the two unconventional superhero shows.

The 1 change that had a massive effect on ‘The Boys’ Antony Star, Karl Urban, and Cameron Crovetti in ‘The Boys’ | Amazon Prime
The Boys television series took a few creative liberties that differentiated it from its comic book counterpart. Alot of these changes ranged from adding characters who don’t exist in the comic. Sometimes, characters’ story-lines from the comics are completely revamped and given new direction in the Amazon series. As early as season 1, the show started tampering with the lore established in the source material. And one of the show’s...

The Boys is expected to have many of its core characters return for the series’ fourth season. But how many newcomers will the series add to its roster of Supes and bad guys?

Much of The Boys season 4 is still being kept under wraps. But a few details have come out about the series’ next chapter that have only intensified the hype. According to Variety, it was announced last year that Valorie Curry and Susan Hayward would be added to the cast. The two will be playing Supes Firecracker and Sister Sage respectfully, and according to the showrunner, they’ll fit right in with The Boys’ chaotic universe.
“These new Supes are some of the best & craziest ever written for The Boys,” showrunner Eric Kripke once said according to Games Radar.

I struggle to think of a TV villain scarier than Homelander on "The Boys." Played masterfully — almost too much so — by Antony Starr, America's greatest superhero is really anything but. He's toxic masculinity and U.S. imperialism packaged together with good PR and a soul-searing smile. Starr has a ravenous grin to rival a great white shark but with eyes of burning hatred, not black emptiness.
While Homelander is damaged beyond repair, the show doesn't imply he was born that way. Raised in a laboratory, "John" had a sterile, abusive childhood that left him with a psych textbook's worth of mommy and daddy issues. As an adult, he's actually scarier because he's pathetic — the most powerful man alive has the stability of a bratty 12-year-old boy. Homelander is less Superman gone bad than he is a grown-up Anthony Fremont (Bill Mumy), the child with the powers and temperament of Old...

This article contains spoilers for "The Boys" season 3.
One childish, love-starved sociopath with all-powerful superhuman abilities is bad enough, but what if there were two of them and one was an actual child? That may be the direction "The Boys" season 4 is headed. As if to literalize the show's title, the very last image of "The Boys" season 3 was a boy smiling, and not just any boy, but Ryan Butcher (Cameron Crovetti), who is sort of like Superman's son if the horror-inspired Superman analog from "Brightburn" grew up to be a demagogue. In "The Boys," it's the murderous Homelander (Antony Starr) who serves as the Superman equivalent, but he also has a bit of Donald Trump in him, according to showrunner Eric Kripke, who has indicated that Ryan will be "a really important piece of the story" in season 4.
What makes Ryan's smile at the end of season 3 so unsettling...

Homelander can come home with you for the holidays, thanks to Vought International’s Nft trading cards for the superhero that parodies a certain someone’s 2024 presidential campaign.
The Prime Video series “The Boys” took to Twitter to spoof Donald Trump’s viral digital trading cards that imagined the former president as a superhero, an astronaut, an Old West sheriff, and other costumed characters.
“Huge announcement: Official Homelander digital collectible cards have arrived!” the Vought International Twitter page posted. “Celebrate our greatest hero’s life and crimefighting career by owning an authentic and non-fungible Jpeg of him. Buy now for 777 VoughtCoin while you still can!”
The image shows Anthony Starr as Homelander in a similar pose to Trump, with the Vought corporate headquarters building in the background.
While Trump shared in a video that the 99 digital products were like baseball cards, the nonfungible tokens (NFTs) are digital files that do have an incentive trading approach,...
