Eric Keller began his career as a scientific animation/visualization artist in 1998 at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. He created animations for scientific education for the HHMI Holiday Lectures series from 1998 to 2005. In 2005 he moved with his wife to Los Angeles and has worked as a freelance visual effects artists for numerous productions, scientific animations, and as an instructor at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects. Studios where he has worked include Bad Robot/Kelvin Optical, Imaginary Forces, Yu and Co, Prologue Films, The Mill, Rumblebox, Digizyme, and Filmograph. He has given lectures at The Gnomon School, Harvard University, and The Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art.
