Steve's musical journey began as an avid 14-year-old drummer, learning from his now long-time music teacher, Pino, the director of Take 5 Music School. From there, Steve took a liking to the piano and shifted his choice of instrument. Steve's scores are reflected by his piano moods, motifs and melodies, he refers to it as the core center of his scores: "usually my inspiration starts at the piano, its where I gather my ideas, sometimes it's where I write most of the score, the piano is such a versatile instrument which sparks creativity in so many forms, as long as you're open with it".
Steves career took off in 2017 after landing his first role as a film composer for Bass Hathaway's 'Dead, Not Dying'. Steve was nominated for best original score, which provided him with the opportunity to work with leading members of Luminosity Entertainment, Jack O'Donoghue and Isaac Stewart. Steve collaborated on three different projects with Luminosity Entertainment: The box, Silent Night, and Virus (which landed over 200k views on YouTube). Steve is now working with KooKoo Entertainment and another talented director, Ben Corlett.
Steve is beginning to climb the ranks in the Australian Film Scene, he is known for his work ethic and ability to deliver high-quality music within tight deadlines. Steve likes to think of himself as a likable person, easy to work with, always focused on providing the best music pieces he possibly can, ensuring those around him feel comfortable that they can trust him with their work.
