Now this was something different. As luxury brands jockey to outdo one another creatively to throw spectacular launch events and parties, Tiffany & Co. outdid itself on Thursday night with a bash at one of the most historic mansions in Los Angeles.
For its Tiffany & Co. Blue Book 2024 Céleste collection cocktail party and dinner — attended by Anya Taylor-Joy, Usher, Gal Gadot, Reese Witherspoon, Emily Blunt, Quinta Brunson, Olivia Wilde and a constellation of other stars — the jewelry and design house took over the famed Beverly Estate in Beverly Hills. Known for its appearances in such films as The Godfather, The Jerk and The Bodyguard, the Mediterranean-style mansion was built in 1926 by architect Gordon Kaufman.
Ring in platinum and 18-karat yellow gold with blue zircons of more than 9 total carats, aquamarines of more than 16 total carats, mother-of-pearl and diamonds from the new Tiffany & Co. Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Celeste collection.

There’s a myth in Hollywood that circulates around the start of every year that once all the Oscars have been handed, insiders can collectively catch their breath and resume a normal schedule. But that’s not really ever the case, especially for the fashion crowd that keeps a breakneck pace year-round.
That said, in the wake of the Academy Awards, there’s no better time to extend the congratulations and pats on the back one more round by honoring the linchpins of the red carpet season — celebrity stylists. That’s just what The Hollywood Reporter did on Wednesday with the rollout of the annual list of Hollywood’s Top 25 Stylists, published in print and online and toasted with a starry event at Sunset Tower co-hosted by Instagram.

It’s been a year — one in which Barbie pink dominated fashion, the box office and the Oscar red carpet, notably on America Ferrera, who glittered in a custom Atelier Versace sheath, courtesy of stylist Karla Welch. Lest we forget, a side effect of the SAG-AFTRA strike was red carpets being rolled up for four months — but not before Cardi B shut down the Met Ball in Chenpeng and Oppenheimer star Emily Blunt hit the London premiere (an hour early, so the cast could attend before the strike began) in Alexander McQueen, as selected by Jessica Paster. Post-strike, stars like Hunter Schafer, decked out in ethereal Prada as styled by Dara, came back shining more brightly than ever at the Golden Globes. And who doesn’t love a Hollywood icon comeback? The fashion world trumpeted Demi Moore, who wore a Balmain swan as procured by Brad Goreski to the Feud: Capote vs.

Henson looked like a bright spring flower in her daffodil-colored gown from Del Core’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear line. The strapless dress skewed sculptural with a sheer corset bustier and 3D petals. Little crystals sparkled on the bodice, which cascaded down her hips to an understated train.

Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald dressed five celebrity clients for Oscars 2024: nominees Jon Batiste, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Colman Domingo, presenter Regina King and Olivia Munn. But two days before the show, the star-styling duo’s stress levels remained firmly set to zero.
The secret? “Pre-planning, pre-planning, pre-planning,” McDonald told The Hollywood Reporter on Friday evening. “We made PDFs mapping everything out, even down to how many minutes it takes to get between hotels.”
“At the [Dec. 3] Academy Museum Gala, we had nine people attending,” Bannerman added. “That went quite well, so we also knew we could use that as our awards-season fire drill.”
Their client Batiste — a best original song Oscars 2024 nominee for “It Never Went Away” from American Symphony — already enjoyed a reputation as someone who loved fashion before joining Wayman + Micah’s impressive roster. “We started working with Jon in the latter part of last year,...

As The Holdovers star Da’Vine Joy Randolph heads into the home stretch of awards season (and her continuous sweep of trophies), her red carpet glam sessions with stylists Wayman + Micah reflect the exhilaration.
“Cocktails, good music and laughter,” says Micah McDonald — who co-styles Randolph, along with fellow first-time Oscar-nominee Colman Domingo, with Wayman Bannerman — of the experience of working with Randolph ahead of the 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards. “We’ve done the work. She’s done the work. The time calls for celebration.”

During her pre-carpet practice of staying present and focused, Randolph maintains her tried-and-true rituals of FaceGym, gua sha routines, wood therapy and lymphatic massages. “It hasn’t changed much,” says Randolph of her routine as she also credits “connecting with people” along the way with keeping up her energy. “For me, consistency is key.”

Actors and actresses might approach red carpet dressing with all sorts of mindsets — nervous and unsure, risk-averse or highly opinionated, for example — but Wayman + Micah say Taraji P. Henson falls into a client category every stylist should love.
“We started working together last April when we started promoting The Color Purple, and it’s been an amazing partnership ever since,” says Wayman Bannerman, who alongside partner Micah McDonald also counts Niecy Nash-Betts, Colman Domingo and Da’Vine Joy Randolph among their starry client roster. “We have had such a blast being creative over the exciting and extensive press tour. [Taraji] has a great personal sense of style and loves to dress up, so we are always excited to show her new pieces, because she gets so excited.”
Taraji P. Henson hits the carpet at the Emmys, where she took the stage to present alongside Joan Collins for outstanding limited or anthology series.

Rewear, repeat, three-peat … The verbiage summing up what’s new on the red carpet in the past year happens to center on what’s old, or at least previously worn. Sustainability and vintage were at the forefront of Hollywood fashion throughout awards season. THR‘s Stylist of the Year Elizabeth Stewart worked with Tár best actress nominee Cate Blanchett to create a red carpet campaign with the smallest environmental footprint possible. “The theme is Cate’s closet and celebrating it,” says Stewart, “and being as conscious as possible of the impact our choices can have.” Law Roach, who made worldwide headlines when he announced his retirement from styling March 14, outfitted Zendaya in internet-shattering 2002 Versace for the NAACP Image Awards. Also trending? A return to megawatt glamour, as evidenced by both Anne Hathaway with stylist Erin Walsh and Gucci glamazon Jodie Turner-Smith, who turned the Venice International Film Festival canals into her own catwalk,...

On Sunday morning, Hollywood awoke to the news of the sudden passing of fashion designer Alber Elbaz, who died at 59 in Paris from Covid-19. The one-time creative director of Lanvin counted Natalie Portman, Kim Kardashian, Meryl Streep and Harry Styles among his A-list fans.
But just as the fashion world mourned the loss of an icon to the pandemic — a harsh reminder that the virus is still wreaking havoc across the globe — it simultaneously provided a wondrous, fleeting respite from the realities of the last year in the form of a glamorous, socially distanced red carpet at the 93rd annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon.
A memo sent out to attendees outlined the dress code for the occasion as “inspirational and aspirational,” heralding a return to the magic of a live ceremony after months of mostly virtual awards shows and Zoom fatigue. Coinciding with progress on the...

Regina King is looking bubbly at tonight's award show—in every sense of the word. For the 2021 Golden Globes on Sunday, Feb. 28, the Watchmen actress sparkled in her silver metallic Louis Vuitton dress with Forevermark jewels. The gown included black cutouts, a standout sweetheart neckline and asymmetrical sleeves with one off-the-shoulder. Her stylists, Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald, exclusively told E! News that they were blown away by her gown because of everything from "the neckline to the fit to the structure," as Micah put it. Wayman revealed Regina's initial reaction when they all chose the dress, sharing, "She was like, 'It made me feel...
