The race to be top of the British singles chart at Christmas has been an annual event every December since 1952.
On Friday 23, LadBaby broke a record they were previously tied for with The Beatles, achieving their fifth consecutive Christmas No 1.
The Beatles had been top of the tree since 1967 with a record four Christmas number ones, although that was equalled last year when LadBaby claimed their fourth win in four years with an offering called “Sausage Rolls for Everyone”.
LadBaby have now vaulted to the top with their fifth No 1, “Food Aid”.
The Spice Girls also notched an impressive three consecutive victories in the mid-Nineties, while Sir Cliff Richard also has a hat-trick to his name.
LadBaby, Aka Mark and Roxanne Hoyle, are actually having another crack at it in 2022, with the help of ever popular money-saving guru Martin Lewis, who, rather suprisingly, is joining them for a chairty cover...

Ben Haenow has been dropped by Syco. The 31-year-old singer beat Fleur East to become the champion of 'The X Factor' in 2014. As is the way with the winners of the programme, he was automatically signed to Simon Cowell's record label and released his debut single 'Something I Need' in December that year. The track shot to the top of the charts, and Ben followed it with 'Second Hand Heart', a duet with Kelly Clarkson that he released in October 2015. It seems Louis Walsh will do anything to go back on The X Factor. Well, kind of.
According to numerous reports on Twitter, Simon Cowell prompted Louis to bid £20,000 to become an X Factor judge at a music industry dinner on Monday night.
But don't fear, this was only for a joke during dress rehearsals. Like Simon would actually put Louis through that for real... right?
Cowell was honoured at the Music Industry Trust Awards in aid of the Nordoff Robbins charity and Brit Trust at The Grosvenor House Hotel, and Louis was there to support him alongside Olly Murs, Caroline Flack and Ben Haenow.
Former X Factor's Bupsi: "Kiera is sweet but Alien Uncovered were like an even fiercer Spice Girls"
Even Cheryl Fernandez-Versini was there, which means they must have made up after their little spat on Sunday's Xtra Factor.

Despite the winner's curse, Fleur East was disappointed not to win The X Factor last year.
The singer, who releases her first major single 'Sax' on Friday, told us she was initially discouraged when she was pipped to the post by Ben Haenow.
"I'll be completely honest, when I was told that I didn't win it was disappointing," said Fleur.
"Going through that process week-by-week and fighting to get through - you wanna win. But I was genuinely happy for Ben [Haenow] and I was happy I got that far."
She added that there was an uncertain period between the end of the show and being signed by Simon Cowell's label Syco in mid-January when she didn't know what her fate would be.
"There was a nervous point after that where I was like, 'Am I gonna get signed? What's going to happen to me?' [I was] lost in the wilderness,...

Olly Murs wants himself and co-host Caroline Flack to bring over some of their Xtra Factor to the main X Factor live shows when they start this weekend.
The duo were wildly popular as hosts of the ITV2 spin-off in 2011-12 leading to their promotion on the flagship show earlier this year, and are keen not to lose any of that personality that got them there.

Simon Cowell is surprised after being selected to mentor the Over-25s category on 'The X Factor' this year. Dermot O'Leary has admitted that he hasn't made up his mind over a return to The X Factor.
The 41-year-old, who has hosted the singing competition since 2007, said that the show is a "huge part" of his life.
"I haven't made up my mind yet," he told Radio Times. "I love doing [X Factor] and it's a huge part of my life. But it's eight years now."
O'Leary continued to say that he may not return if "a new challenge came up" for him to get involved with.
He said: "If a new challenge came up that meant I couldn't do both, then... But while I'm still enjoying it, I want to carry on doing it."
The host also said that talks about the new series usually start around "mid-February".
X Factor 2014 saw Ben Haenow crowned winner, while Fleur East finished in second place. Both singers are now signed to Syco.

Tulisa Contostavlos has admitted that she was excited to finally be on the same panel as Simon Cowell on The X Factor.
The former judge stepped in to replace Mel B at the last minute for the live final on Saturday (December 13) after the Spice Girl fell ill.
Asked how she felt sitting at the judges' desk with the X Factor boss, Tulisa told Digital Spy: "It was exciting. I had always wondered what it would be like to be on a panel with him.
"Obviously I got to sit next to my Louis and I've always got on really well with Cheryl. It was a nice line-up."
The star also added that, while she was called at the last minute to appear on the show, the live final is the easiest one to judge.

Ben Haenow's only gone and won The X Factor, hasn't he? The lovely van driver from Croydon triumphed on Sunday night and life has been a whirlwind for him ever since then, but we managed to sit down with him for a bit of a natter.
After speaking to Olly Murs recently - and finding out he had given his record label a mixtape of songs to show what sound he wanted - we had to ask Ben what would be on his own personal mixtape.
Watch the video to find out what he said - as well as whether we'll ever get a cover of Crowded House's 'Don't Dream It's Over' (the signs are looking reasonably good...)
We also chatted about whether he thinks Simon was biased towards Fleur, how he remembers his winning moment (he, er, doesn't) and how The X Factor has given him his confidence back.

Remember when Ben Haenow won The X Factor on Sunday night? Remember how genuine his reaction was? How excited and thrilled he was? Imagine him trying to recreate that level of emotion a day later. Oh wait, you don't have to imagine - because he took part in this amazing photoshoot on top of the Oxo Tower to celebrate his victory.
Now trust us, we have a lot of sympathy for poor Ben, who probably hadn't slept at all before doing this photoshoot - and was presumably being prodded by a photographer to look all excited.
Apparently one pose wouldn't do though; Ben had to go through all of the various permutations. So we had two varieties of fists clenched.
We had one fist clenched.
We even had both palms open.

And so it's over. Ben Haenow has been crowned the winner of The X Factor after months of auditions and more auditions and Boot Camp and Judges' Houses and live shows. Now what?
Well, we're not quite ready to say goodbye just yet, so we've collected some of our favourite moments of the series. We're not talking performances as such - we're talking all the silly sideshow bits and bobs that have made this series. Are any as good as Jedward doing their own backing vocals or Rachel Adedeji falling over? We'll leave that up to you to decide.
So without further ado, here they are, in no particular order...

Two Overs in The X Factor Grand Finale. Who'd-a-thunk it?
Fleur East and Ben Haenow have beaten off Jack Walton, Stereo Kicks and Stevi Ritchie (oh, behave!) to make it to Wembley tonight.
