Going into Tuesday’s Season 14 finale of The Voice, the question seemed to be less “Who’s going to win?” and more “Was Kyla Jade or Brynn Cartelli going to win?” (Which was still more suspenseful than the ending of Season 13, since a victory by Team Blake’s Chloe Kohanski had been a foregone conclusion well ahead of the finish line.) Before Monday’s performances, I’d been pretty sure that Team Blake’s Kyla was a lock to take the title. She had the pipes, the charisma, the momentum. But then her original song had the same effect on me as Tylenol Pm,...

Alicia Keys is hoping that third time as a coach on “The Voice” is a charm. She won her second turn as a mentor, with her artist Chris Blue taking the title in season 12. Two seasons later, she is back with the strongest team of the four coaches. We asked you which of the three artists still on her team could take the season 14 title on this NBC reality competition series.
Your favorite, with an impressive 55% of the vote is Britton Buchanan. That isn’t so surprising given that he won the first public vote when the Top 24 performed on April 16. In second place with 24% of the vote is Jackie Foster, who advanced to the Top 12 when she came out on top in the second public vote on April 18. Keys’s personal pick, Christiana Danielle, has the backing of 21% of our readers.

Despite being a coach on all 13 seasons of “The Voice” to date, Adam Levine has only won three times. The most recent of these was in season 9 when he took Jordan Smith to the winner’s circle (his others wins were in season 1 with Javier Colon and season 5 with Tessanne Chin). This season, he was only able to choose one of the three artists to take to the Top 12, which will perform live on April 23.
After America voted for Sharane Calister and Rayshun Lamarr he had to pick his third artist from the four remaining on his team. In the end, he opted for Jackie Verna over Mia Boostrom, Drew Cole and Reid Umstattd.

As a coach on season 14 of “The Voice,” Adam Levine has struggled to put together a team that could finally win him a fourth title. However, with the decision to let America choose two of the three artists that he would take to the Top 12, his life was made a little easier. In the end, he opted for Jackie Verna over Mia Boostrom, Drew Cole and Reid Umstattd.

Wednesday’s Night 3 of The Voice’s Season 14 Live Playoffs was the end of the line for a dozen contestants. Not only did Team Kelly and Team Adam again sing for their lives, but the results of both Tuesday and Wednesday’s voting were revealed, and all four coaches had to play favorites, choosing one last singer to advance to the Top 12. For Alicia, this promised to be especially difficult; if TVLine’s Tuesday poll proved to be an accurate predictor of the overall voting, Jackie Foster was going to be moving on, leaving her coach with a Sophie’s choice between Terrence Cunningham,...

Although Adam Levine has been a coach on the “The Voice” since it started in 2011, he has won only three of the previous 13 seasons. And, according to our readers, a fourth win is likely to elude Levine in the current season 14.
They think that he has a far weaker team than Shelton, returning coach Alicia Keys and rookie Kelly Clarkson heading into the live round, which kicks off on April 16. Levine’s six artists earned only a combined 10 chair turns during the blind auditions. Compare that to the rosters of the other coaches: Keys (17 turns), Shelton (15 turns) and Clarkson (11 turns).
We have compiled a power ranking of the contestants now on Team Adam Levine. These would-be winners are listed from best to worst based on: their reception in the knockouts, battles and blind auditions; the resulting sales of their tracks on iTunes; and the votes of viewers like you.

Adam Levine has the weakest team among the four coaches on season 14 of “The Voice” as the live round kicks off on April 16. “The Voice” coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine have had a rivalry since day one on NBC’s reality TV competition, but their recent performance of “Fly Me to the Moon” seems to suggest that all is forgiven. In the vintage black-and-white duet, the male coaches sang such intimate lyrics as “hold my hand,” “baby kiss me” and even “I love you.” The tone of the video is serious, but Shelton and Levine occasionally smile as if to let the audience know that they’re joking. In case you missed this video from the Top 24 recap episode of “The Voice,” watch Shelton and Levine’s duet above.

Your days are numbered, Jaron Strom. The Voice on Monday began its Season 14 Knockouts, aka the rounds designed to discharge the last of the coaches’ cannon fodder prior to the Playoffs. Season 14 of “The Voice” aired the third of four episodes devoted to the battle round of the competition on March 26. With the first two episodes last week having been dominated by artists from teams coached by Kelly Clarkson and Alicia Keys, this installment was focused primarily on those mentored by Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
At this stage, each coach pits pairs of artists against each other and has them sing the same song for survival. After deciding which contender in each battle to take to the knockout round, the other coaches can steal the loser for their teams (save for Levine who has used his two steals already). At rehearsals, the coaches had fellow artists on hand to offer advice: Clarkson turned to Hailee Steinfeld, Keys was counseled by Shawn Mendes, Levine had Julie Michaels by his side, and Shelton brought in Trace Adkins.

Monday night on “The Voice,” Mia Boostrom and Genesis Diaz performed Kelly Clarkson‘s “Because of You” for Team Adam Levine during the third battle round episode of Season 14. Both women excelled at the song despite being nervous singing it in front of Kelly. Adam ultimately chose to save Mia for his team, thereby eliminating Genesis from the reality TV singing competition. Do You think coach Adam made the right decision? Watch “The Voice” performance video above.

“Genesis, I love how almost out of control you are,” Adam admitted when it was his turn to make the big decision. “That’s exciting because you may not be as in control as Mia, who has so much excellence when it comes to technical singing. But it’s kind of like what you both have is what I love.

Going into the second and final week of The Voice’s Season 14 Battles, we still had ahead of us performances by a bunch of our favorites — and high hopes that they wouldn’t end up getting montaged, as was Johnny Bliss. (Fingers crossed!) Based on their memorable Blind Auditions, I was particularly eager to hear Jaclyn Lovey and Pryor Baird again, to find out (a) if they were good or consistently good and (b) how they’d fare in a cage match with another singer. Aand… ? Read on. We’ll discuss.

We’re exactly at the halfway mark for the “The Voice” battle rounds of Season 14. Each coach has used one of their steals, so that means four are remaining for these two episodes on Monday and Tuesday of this week. Monday’s show is another two-hour epic round with the cuts and commentaries of six-time coaching winner Blake Shelton, three-time champ Adam Levine , Season 12 winner Alicia Keys and rookie coach Kelly Clarkson.
As is the tradition for this Emmy-winning reality TV series, the coaches are using advisors for this round to assist them in mentoring the artists on their teams. The Season 14 advisors are: Julia Michaels (Team Adam), Trace Adkins (Team Blake), Shawn Mendes (Team Alicia) and Hailee Steinfeld (Team Kelly). There has been no official word yet on who will be the overall show advisor for the knockout rounds beginning next Monday, April 2.

Adam Levine has pitted only four of his dozen artists against each other in the first two battle rounds of “The Voice” on March 19 and 20. Two of them — Rayshun Lamarr and Reid Umstattd — were his picks to move on to the knockout round. While Tish Haynes Keys lost to Lamarr, she was rescued by Clarkson. Levine’s other battle loser, Davison, saw his time on “The Voice” come to an end.
Levine has used both of his steals, picking up Jackie Foster at the end of Battle 1 when Kelly Clarkson went for D.R. King instead after their duet on Harry Styles‘ “Sign of the Times.” Likewise, he offered Jordyn Simone a lifeline at the end of Battle 2 when Alicia Keys dropped him in favor of Kelsea Johnson after their duet on the En Vogue hit “Don’t Let Go (Love).”

Adam Levine has assembled a powerhouse team for this season of “The Voice.” While he has been with the show since the start, the Maroon 5 frontman has only won three of the previous 13 seasons: Javier Colon (season 1), Tessanne Chin (season 5) and Jordan Smith (season 9). He came tantalizingly close last season but his artist, Addision Agen, lost in the final to Blake Shelton‘s contender, Chloe Kohanski. That marked the sixth victory for Shelton and Levine is hoping to end that winning streak in season 14.

Adam Levine has been a coach on every season of “The Voice” and has mentored three of the first 13 winners of this reality competition series. The most recent of these was in season 9 when he took Jordan Smith to the winner’s circle (his others wins were in season 1 with Javier Colon and season 5 with Tessanne Chin). He came tantalizing close to tasting victory last fall but his artist, Addison Agen, had to settle for second place. Levine’s rival, Blake Shelton, got win #6 as Chloe Kohanski claimed victory.

“You are gonna be the best one-chair turn of this season, maybe ever,” declared Adam after he realized that none of the other coaches pushed their buttons. “You know when I knew I had made the right decision? There were a couple moments. The first moment was when you went up real high and I thought, she’s got some control here, this is really good.

Even before The Voice’s Season 14 Blind Auditions continued on Monday, a Top 12 was forming. Maybe only in my mind/our minds, but still… That counts… er, right? Pryor “I Eat Gravel for Breakfast” Baird was on the list, as was Jaclyn “I’m 98.5 Percent Pixie Dust” Lovey and Kyla Jade, whose Blind Audition I suspect only hinted at what she had to offer. (For the moment, I’m also reserving spots for Kelsea Johnson, Justin Kilgore, Brynn Cartelli and the one-man charm machine that is Britton Buchanan.) And, after Night 3 of the Blinds, I added another couple of names...
