For years, Strictly Come Dancing has been providing TV audiences with Saturday night entertainment and some truly unforgettable performances.
First airing in 2004 with Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly as hosts, Strictly seemed like a celebrity reality TV show like any other.
But, the show soon became a huge national and international hit, with everyone from politicians to YouTubers taking on the challenge of learning to ballroom dance.
Along the way, there have been some performances you just can’t forget regardless of whether they’re worthy of a perfect 40 or burnt onto your brain for all the wrong reasons.
From the very best to the very, very worst, here are 12 of Strictly’s most memorable moments.
Ed Balls does “Gangnam Style”
When Ed Balls of “tweeting his own name” fame was announced as a contestant, it was assumed that he would be a joke act eliminated in one of the first weeks.

Like many anxiety-ridden Americans, the first thing I do in the morning is roll over and check my email. Today (April 30th), I spotted a message from Peloton announcing three new kinds of scenic rides — the result of a specific licensing deal with Warner Music Group to soundtrack cycling journeys through, say, the Italian Alps, to the tune of tracks like Blue Swede’s “Hooked on a Feeling.”
Members can now choose their rides based on distance or length of time, and they can also take guided rides with instructors.

Seemingly revitalised by the likes of Now That’s What I Call Sing and the current-gen debut(s) of Rockband and Guitar Hero, the karoke game genre has, sadly, not found the success it once had.
However things picked up at the beginning of this year when not one, but Three new karaoke games were available in UK stores. So what did we do? Reviewed the three in a head-to-head of course! Yes, back in January we reviewed Ravens Court’s Now… Sing sequel alongside Ubisoft’s Just Sing and Nordic Games’ (under their new Thq Nordic banner) We Sing, the franchise that was – in my opinion – the King of the karaoke games during the Nintendo Wii era.
I still maintain – all these years later – that Nordic Games’ We Sing Pop, released in 2012, was the epitomy of the genre, capturing the mix of songs, controls and gameplay perfectly… Well now We Sing Pop is back,...

The 25-year-old singer recently split from the TV star and after returning from Little Mix's Us tour this week, Jesy has been finding comfort in her love of music.
She said: "When you're sad you can listen to a song and it can make you feel so much better. I feel like music is magical."
Jesy's bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock thinks Clean Bandit and Louisa Johnson's collaboration 'Tears' is the perfect tune for overcoming heartache, because it carries a "f**k men" message.
Leigh-Anne told the Daily Star newspaper: "Louisa Johnson's song 'Tears' is a good one, because it's basically saying: 'F**k men' really."

After breaking a year long silence back in May with the release of “Tears” with Louisa Johnson, Clean Bandit are back with a new remix of Flume’s “Say It” featuring Tove Lo from his sophomore album Skin. “Say It” served as one of the more memorable pop collaborations on Skin, and Clean Bandit are the perfect group to remix the tune with their expert blending of dance music and mainstream hooks.
Where the original single opted for a head nodding future bass rhythm, Clean Bandit choose to pick up the pace with their remix and deliver some upbeat house grooves. The tune opens with Tove Lo’s familiar vocal hooks set against a stark backdrop complete with finger snaps and a slow rolling chord progression. Offbeat tropical bass plucks soon enter the mix alongside shuffled drum patterns as catchy bell melodies collide between the intricate rhythms.

Clean Bandit further explores their signature blend of organic instrumentation and electronic dance music on “Tears”, driven by Louisa Johnson’s soulful vocal delivery. Jack Ü just can’t stop, and now they’re getting back “To Ü” with a dedicated remix Ep. Featuring the talents of Clean Bandit, Oliver, and Armand Van Helden, this remix Ep is certainly an unexpected pitch.
Skrillex and Diplo’s collaboration with AlunaGeorge was definitely an underdog on the album, not gaining nearly the popularity of Jack Ü’s staple “Take Ü There” or the infamous Bieber collab, but now its getting deserved attention.

Cheryl recently vowed to be a much "tougher" judge and mentor this year, adding that she's usually "like a sponge [and] too sensitive".
Meanwhile, Mark Ronson has been confirmed for Judges' Houses with Nick Grimshaw. Ronson and Grimmy will be teaming up to judge the Boys in Oldham, Greater Manchester.
The X Factor continues on Saturday night (October 3) at 8pm on ITV. Watch Rita Ora talking to Digital Spy about the Six Chair Challenge below:...

Streetwear fashion label Bench has teamed up with chart topping singer songwriter Jess Glynne to launch #LoveMyHood. This is a campaign to encourage artists, bloggers, and other social and online gurus to provide cultural guides to their cities, to celebrate and give recognition to the local influences which impact and help shape the work that they create. To celebrate Bench’s new 2015 Autumn/Winter collection, they have worked with Jess to put together the above video for her to give an insight and thanks to her own hometown of London. It is a chance for her to honour her own surroundings and salute the differing moods and areas of the city.

Two groups called from the London Community Gospel Choir are through to boot camp on The X Factor.
However, the all-girl Silver Tone had to return for a second performance after their first didn't quite impress the judges.
The five member group took to the stage and sang a cover of Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be' with high anticipation from the judges.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini then cut the performance short, saying: "Something's just not quite there".
Ora then asked them to "show us what gospel's about".
The group left the stage and returned later with a gospel rendition of Simon and Garfunkel's 'Bridge Over Troubled Water', this time receiving an extremely positive response from the judges.
"Do you know what that was? Five individuals that were in their element," Rita Ora remarked.
Nick Grimshaw noted the difference in performances, Cowell adding that the "real you" emerged.

For anyone that has taken the liberty of either following or creeping Veld’s Instagram page, it’s unlikely they could have missed the collective demand of unhappy attendees. Of Veld’s roughly 50,000 guests, at least 500 have taken to social media to continually voice their opinions.
Peppered with defamations towards the organizing team – Ink Entertainment – the unified ransom amongst irate fans is their entitlement to at least a partial refund; Veld festivalgoers showed up for two 12-hour days of music and received only a cumulative 18 hours. Though the final echoes of Veld 2015 ended on a bitter note, not everything about it was out-of-tune – if anyone besides me was sober enough to remember, Veld 2015 had its moments.
Arriving just in time for a hard-hitting afternoon set by none other than The Chainsmokers, the media entrance to the grounds immediately thrust me stage right into a crowd already almost halfway through a weekend of getting weird.

Anna Kendrick has admitted that she doesn't understand the huge amount of coverage surrounding the new royal baby.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana last week, but the Pitch Perfect 2 star believes there's too much "fanfare" around the royal birth.
"There's a lots of fanfare for the new royal baby," she says on Alan Carr: Chatty Man tonight (May 8). "We were driving by the palace, and there was all this fanfare and I was like, 'You know, the baby doesn't know?'.
"The baby doesn't know you're doing all of this. It's a baby."
"I find it very odd when people are really interested in any kind of celebrity children," she continues. "If you are interested in Kate and Will, fair enough. They're full-grown adults, and they might be out and about and doing interesting things.
"When it's like, 'Ooh, I want to see the royal baby',...

Coachella weekend 1 has come and gone and with it, we got some absolutely incredible sets. From Kaskade’s show-stopping main stage performance from last night to Porter Robinson’s impressive work on Friday night, there were many memorable moments throughout the weekend. Thankfully, those of us who couldn’t make it to the fest had a live stream to help with the Fomo. And just in case that wasn’t enough, we now have videos of most of the biggest sets from the weekend for your viewing pleasure.
While a few key artists are absent here (Kygo, Alesso, Drake, The Weekend etc.), there’s more than enough footage to tide you over until weekend 2 kicks off this Friday. Along with the above mentioned sets, we also recommend checking out Chet Faker, Clean Bandit and Madeon, as all three impressed us with their performances.

Rising star Klingande is a 24-year-old who hails from Northern France. Cédric Steinmyller studied music theory as a child and discovered his love for electronic music as a teenager. He cites his main influences as Klangkarussell, Bakermat and Wankelmut, and it’s definitely heard through his sound. Klingande’s tracks are of the melodic, deep house variety, and his use of the saxophone and piano have garnered the attention of audiences across Europe and North America.
His track “Punga” exploded on the charts in Europe and earned him huge online support in 2012. Following that, he released the smooth sounding “Jubel,” and his latest track, “Riva.” Klingande’s remixes are also quite popular in nature, adding his signature sound to tracks by Sigma, Alex Adair, Clean Bandit, and many more. He’ll be touring and focusing on producing more music for 2015, with an Ep expected early this year.

Arriving from the UK this summer to Toronto is Bestival, a music fest that’s decidedly more indie than most of its peers, but still boasts an incredible lineup of talent. For its first Canadian outing, the organizers have put together what looks to be quite a stacked roster, as the recently revealed lineup indicates.
Toronto acts like Keys N Krates, Grandtheft, Shaun Frank and Hunter Siegel are mixed in with huge international stars like Flume, Robin Schulz, Florence + The Machine, Clean Bandit and more to make up an exciting and eclectic lineup. It’s refreshing to see a festival that isn’t dominated by Edm main stage acts, and Bestival should prove to be a breath of fresh air this summer.

Like a flatline that finally goes “bloop,” American Idol‘s Top 12 Girls telecast sprang to life just when I was about to give up, start folding laundry and write an intro to this recap along the lines of “Season 14 officially belongs to the dudes.”

Also: Why do the show’s producers insist on front-loading the telecast with weak links — thereby encouraging viewers to check their DVRs and determine whether they merely dreamed that CBS had launched NCIS: Bangor.
