Kako is an award-winning illustrator and graphic designer based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
In the past 20 years, his work has been recognized in annuals and art books such as Communication Arts, Society of Illustrators, AI-AP, Illustration Now!, New Illustrators File, SPD, Lurzer's Archive, The Illustrator and has received several awards including a Gold Lion at Cannes Advertising Festival, the Grand Prix at El Sol and the Gold Medal at El Ojo de Iberoamerica Advertising Festival and an Eisner Award for the Anthology Comic Book Tattoo. He was recently selected to be part of the book 100 Illustrators, written by Steven Heller and Julius Wiedemann and published by Taschen, as one of today's most successful and important illustrators.
During 2018 Kako changed his career to join Arvore Immersive Experiences as a Production Designer and since then their experiences have amassed several awards such as the Primetime Emmy Awards for "Outstanding Innovation in Interactive Programming" and "Best VR Experience Award" at La Biennale di Venezia.
