Sean Cridland(I)

Sean Cridland is originally from upstate New York, but moved to
Colorado at the age of 18, where he pursued a career in ski racing,
excelling in Speed-Skiing. He was only the seventh skier to record a
speed over 200 kilometers per hour (124mph). While training for the
sport, he set a world record of 162mph while riding atop of Rick
Vesco's legendary #444 streamliner at the Bonneville Salt Flats. At the
conclusion of his athletic career, Cridland pursued academic study,
attaining a Ph.D. in East-West Comparative Philosophy from the
University of Hawaii in 1998. He then taught at a small liberal arts
college in Southwest Colorado for 8 years before moving to New Mexico
and pursuing a career in automotive journalism, photography,
videography, and film work.
