When Olympic bobsledder Johnny Quinn got stuck in an elevator on Monday (Feb. 10), it was the second time the athlete had trouble with a door in Sochi. This time, however, Quinn couldn't break through superhero-style.
Quinn posted a photo of the offending elevator shortly after he and fellow Olympians Nick Cunningham and David Cripps found themselves stuck there at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
No one is going to believe this but we just got stuck in an elevator. Ask @Bobsledr and @Crippsee who were there... pic.twitter.com/Rwg57CBbUU

Unfortunately for the men, Quinn's best efforts to get through the door failed.
Now we're stuck in the elevator! Can @JohnnyQuinnUSA get us out ? pic.twitter.com/sVbyksEXlc

This is Quinn's second Russian door-enemy. The elevator fared better than a bathroom door Quinn encountered on Saturday (Feb. 8).
...With no phone to call for help,...

Johnny Quinn, a U.S. Olympic bobsledder, was forced to kick his way through a door when he found himself locked within his Sochi hotel room bathroom.
Johnny Quinn Kicks Through Stuck Bathroom Door
Quinn’s Sochi hotel mishap is just the latest in a string of stories underscoring the unfinished accommodations in the Russian Olympic host city. Without his cell phone handy to call for assistance, the former North Texas football player put his leg muscles to use to get out. He shared a photo of the door post-break out on Twitter.
In the picture, not only is it clear that Quinn did in fact smash his foot through the door a few times, but also that the door was made out of rather flimsy corrugated cardboard.
