- Lisner was appointed a judge for the POP International Film Festival however resigned in 2017 due to her busy schedule.
- In late 2015 Lisner registered the name DFUA Productions and intends on producing and co producing many projects.. In choosing a logo for her company, Lisner chose a seagull, which is a nickname her eldest son Jake had given her many years ago. In Native American spirituality seagulls are regarded as spiritual messengers that indicate a higher communication with spirit guides. Because seagull's see above situations with higher clarity, they can teach us that there are many perspectives to consider. Gulls show a sense of friendship and community and the co- operation that is needed for the whole to operate successfully.
Lisner firmly believes that everyone on her sets is an equal, as in life. That whether you have the lead role, director or work as an extra that everyone is treated with respect and kindness. Known for never mincing her words, Lisner knows that everyone on set is important to make up a story and holds a strong rule of - no diva's allowed. - Lisner is a member of the MEAA wellness committee and is a long standing volunteer with the VABT (Victorian Actors Benevolent Trust). In 2013 Lisner divorced after a 28 year marriage. Her maiden name was Lewis.
