- Her middle name Akinyi means "one who is born in the morning" and one who is "graceful and peaceful".
- Watched over 200 different classic western films, television shows, and serials to prepare and to get into full on Western mode for The Hateful Eight.
- Has performed twice at the Texas Renaissance Festival.
- Began acting at the age of seven.
- Has performed her own stunts.
- Her song "I'm Here To Stay" was selected to play in episode 107 of Spike Lee's "She's Gotta Have It" on Netflix. It is featured in the dinner scene. Belinda wrote the song herself in full.
