- Ivo Müller is a Latin American Brazilian-born actor and producer. After discovering a love of live performance in middle school, Ivo earned a B.A. in Law before abandoning his burgeoning career in favor of acting.
Ivo's acting credits include a stage production of Twelve Angry Men, and Tabu, a critically-acclaimed, multi-award winning 2012 Portuguese movie that won the Critics Best Picture award at the Berlin Film Festival. Ivo has worked with studios including HBO, Sony, and Globo TV. Can be seen as a compelling AIDS-stricken hairdresser, appearing opposite Andrea Beltrão in Hebe: The Brazilian Star (2019), in both the feature film and the television biopic. He's worked mostly in indie films, including US's feature Proof Sheet (2023) and most recently in Aly Muritiba's upcoming feature, Barba Ensopada de Sangue. - At the age of 15, received a scholarship to an exchange student program in the US. His first acting lessons were taken during this experience abroad, when he went to learn English and wound up discovering himself as an actor.
- For Tabu (2012), Portuguese director Miguel Gomes wanted a Brazilian actor with stage experience. After long research he decided to cast Müller after watching videos of his performance in the play Letters to a Young Poet and his silent acting in a MTV commercial.
