Aaliya Siddiqui has always been a woman who speaks her mind. And nothing changes with her entry in Big Boss. Admitting that Nawaz supported her decision to enter Bigg Boss, Aaliya is happy he took her children on a vacation so that she could be on the show.
Says Aaliya, “I have always been this person who is happy and cheerful. But life had its own script. As a woman, I have been an actor, an entrepreneur and producer… But I have always been identified as a star wife.”
When there is no respect in a relationship, then that relationship automatically becomes weak. But sadly it has also become your identity.”
Big Boss is Aaliya’s way of getting her life back. “Only I know what I have gone through in these 19 years. But I would never turn the clock back even if I could as my two lovely children are God’s blessings.

In case you missed out, Kangana Ranaut produced Tiku Weds Sheru recently released its highly-awaited trailer. However, the trailer was met with a lot of backlash on social media when Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur were seen sharing a passionate kiss.

Directed by Sai Kabir, Tiku Weds Sheru stars Avneet Kaur and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles.

The trailer of the upcoming romantic comedy drama ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur in lead roles was unveiled on Wednesday. The trailer showcases the story of two aspiring actors who get married. As per the trailer, the movie looks rather like a mix of a Bollywood rom-com with black comedy, having a bit of a similarity to ‘Delhi Belly’.
Somewhat satirical in nature, the movie is also well produced with great lighting and sound design. The dialogues in the trailer are also lighthearted, and the one which sticks out most is, “Big risk, big life. No risk, no life”, said by Nawaz.
The movie, while having a solid story, does not seem to take itself too seriously with the actors clearly having a good time.
The official synopsis of the movie reads: “Sheru and Tiku are marginalised souls from the underprivileged strata of society. They are ambitious for a better life,...

PBS NewsHour has confirmed its new hosts, as Amna Nawaz and Geoff Bennett are set to step into the co-anchor roles after long-serving host Judy Woodruff exits the series. The official announcement was made on Wednesday, November 16, as Sharon Rockefeller, President and CEO of Weta and President of NewsHour Productions, named Nawaz and Bennett co-anchors of the nightly newscast. The pair will start in their new roles on Monday, January 2, 2023. Woodruff announced she was stepping down earlier this month as she begins a two-year project looking at the polarization in American politics and whether it can be healed. The new project will be called Judy Woodruff Presents: America at a Crossroads. PBS Nawaz, who has received Peabody Awards for her reporting, has served as NewsHour’s primary substitute anchor since she joined in 2018. She previously was an anchor and correspondent at ABC News, and before that served as foreign correspondent...

Nawaz has been chief correspondent for NewsHour and Bennett as been chief Washington correspondent and PBS News Weekend anchor.
They will start in their new roles on January 2. Woodruff’s last newscast will be on Dec. 30, and she will then embark on a reporting project for PBS, Judy Woodruff Presents: America at a Crossroads.
The appointment of Nawaz and Bennett to succeed Woodruff confirms reports from earlier this year of a transition for the broadcast, which launched in 1975 with anchor Robert MacNeil. The newscast is now produced by Weta-tv in Washington, D.C.

Christchurch, Oct 8 (Ians) Pakistan captain Babar Azam carried his bat through the innings to slam an unbeaten 79 off 53 balls and lead Pakistan to a six-wicket victory over New Zealand to win their second match on the bounce in the ongoing T20I tri-series at Hagley Oval on Saturday.
After fast bowler Haris Rauf led the bowling attack’s good showing by picking three wickets in the penultimate over to restrict New Zealand to 147/8 in their 20 overs, Azam played a sterling knock to take Pakistan home with ten balls to spare, with Shadab Khan chipping in with a cameo of 34 off just 22 balls.
It was a match where everything clicked well for Pakistan, right from being pushed into bowling first. They never let go of the pressure upon the Blackcaps batters, which resulted in Devon Conway and captain Kane Williamson being unable to get going and they consumed a lot of deliveries.

Christchurch, Oct 7 (Ians) Wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan scored an unbeaten 78 and carried his bat throughout the innings as Pakistan kick-started their campaign in the tri-series in New Zealand with a 21-run win over Bangladesh at the Hagley Oval on Friday.
After Rizwan’s belligerent knock laced with seven fours and two sixes took Pakistan to 167/5, pacer Mohammad Wasim Jnr and left-arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz took three and two wickets respectively to restrict Bangladesh to 146/8 in 20 overs.
Pushed into batting first, Rizwan and captain Babar Azam (22 off 25 balls) added 52 runs for the first wicket in 7.1 overs. The ever-consistent opener, who hit his sixth half-century in last eight T20I innings, then added 42 more runs with Shan Masood, who made 31 off 22 deliveries.
Shan Masood (31 off 22) was Pakistan’s other key contributor, as Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed and Asif Ali couldn’t contribute much to reduce the tension around Pakistan’s fragile middle order.

Filmmaker Sudhir Mishra can’t stop praising Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Sudhir has directed Nawaz in the streaming movie ‘Serious Men’, which was based on Manu Joseph’s novel of the same name.
Heaping praises on the actor, Sudhir mentioned that Nawaz had surrendered himself with all that talent to him. He said, “When I worked with Nawaz in serious men, I had a wonderful experience. He just hands himself over to you and he is this perfect. If you read any interview of Nawaz, he always says that I have done nothing, whatever Sudhir Bhai asked me to do, I did.”
Explaining what Nawaz said is partly correct, the filmmaker added, “It’s right to an extent but that’s wrong because he is handing himself to me with all that talent. So when I tell him something, it goes through that talent, through that skill set and emerges. He is...

Dubai, Sep 5 (Ians) In Pakistan’s thrilling five-wicket win over India in Super Four match of Asia Cup 2022, where fortunes swung wildly, left-arm spin all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz played a decisive role in getting his side to victory.
With his four overs, Nawaz conceded just 25 runs and took out Suryakumar Yadav in a tight spell which applied brakes on India’s innings after Rohit Sharma and Kl Rahul came out all guns blazing in a 54-run opening stand.
Then in chasing 182, Nawaz was given a promotion to number four. He rose to the occasion by striking 42 off 20 balls, including six fours and two sixes, giving a much-needed impetus to Pakistan’s successful chase with a ball to spare.
After the match ended, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam revealed Nawaz’s promotion happened as he felt a left-handed batter could succeed against India’s leg-spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravi Bishnoi.
“I try to keep things simple.

Dubai, Sep 5 (Ians) India skipper Rohit Sharma admitted that losing wickets of Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya in quick succession was something that was not needed for the side at that juncture of the match.
Pushed into batting first, Rohit and K.L Rahul came out all guns blazing in a 54-run opening stand as India reverted back to their aggressive attacking approach. Virat Kohli top-scored for India with 60 off 44 balls, hitting four fours and a six while running hard between the wickets and was superb against pacers.
But Pant and Pandya fell in a span of six balls in a bid to go big. While Pant reverse-swept straight to backward point off Shadab Khan, Pandya, hero of India’s five-wicket win over Pakistan in Group A match, punched a cross-seam ball from Mohammad Hasnain straight to a forward diving short mid-wicket to depart for a two-ball duck.

Sharjah, Sep 2 (Ians) Spin twins, leg-spinner Shadab Khan and left-arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz shared seven wickets between themselves as Pakistan thrashed Hong Kong by 155 runs in the final Group A match of Asia Cup 2022 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday.
After sparkling knocks from Mohammad Rizwan (78 not out), Fakhar Zaman (53) and Khushdil Shah (35 not out) carried Pakistan to a daunting 193/2, Hong Kong were blown away by pacers and spinners to be bundled out for 38, giving the Babar Azam-led side their biggest-ever win by runs in T20Is.

Every now and then, a serial or psychopath killer emerges from the dark alleys and haunt the world with gruesome killings and their modus operandi. More recently, a serial killer in Madhya Pradesh murdered 6 people.
