With Annemarie Wiley and Crystal Kung Minkoff let go and Kyle Richards reportedly getting an ultimatum from producers to remain on the cast, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 promises to be a change of pace.
With Richards and Dorit Kemsley’s involvement in the series up in the air and some familiar faces already let go, it’s hard not to wonder whether producers would be better off firing the entire cast and proceeding with a Rhony-style reboot.
Talks with cast members would need to implode for Bravo to consider such a move because Rhobh is the crown jewel in the long-in-the-tooth franchise due to its continued ratings performance.
Beverly Hills has been an exciting backdrop for the show for over a decade but hasn’t attracted big names.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills aired its season 13 reunion just four weeks ago, but fans are already looking forward to what is to come in season 14. While the famed Bravo show remains beloved among franchise fans, season 14 will look much different than previous incarnations of the series. A serious cast shakeup is occurring.
Crystal Kung Minkoff leaves ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’
Crystal Kung Minkoff is the latest cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to depart the series. She announced that she would not return for season 14 on April 15 via Instagram. While Kung Minkoff didn’t explain the reason for her departure, it doesn’t sound like she was the one who made the call. In her announcement, she stated that she was honored to be on the series and felt blessed each time she was invited back. Kung Minkoff insists this isn’t the...

Annemarie Wiley is shading Crystal Kung Minkoff amid her Rhobh exit. It just came out on Monday, April 15th, that Minkoff is the latest casualty of the show. Yet, Annemarie, who was let go from the Bravo series in March, did not waste any time shading her former co-star. Keep reading to see what she said.
Annemarie Wiley Shades Crystal Kung Minkoff Amid Rhobh Exit
For her first season, Annemarie Wiley really struggled on the Rhobh. She came in as Kyle Richards’ friend and was first featured at the weed dinner. Unfortunately, she hit a rocky patch when Kyle discussed Sutton Stracke’s esophageal issues. With Wiley being a nurse anesthetist, she felt she had some knowledge and challenged Stracke. This caused friction between Wiley, Stracke, and Crystal Kung Minkoff. At one point, Minkoff called Wiley a “b*tch.” Minkoff even claimed that Wiley had said she was a doctor...

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been stuck in a rut for the better part of a year, and the recent wave of casting changes doesn’t instill much hope that producers are aware how bad things are.
One of the biggest frustrations with the show this season was the reliance on speculation about Kyle Richards’ personal life to drum up interest, including whether she was in a relationship with Morgan Wade.
Given that we endured a whole season of it, you’d think the reunion would have given us some much-needed answers about the situation.
Instead, we got a random feud between Richards and Dorit Kemsley that felt more like they were trying desperately to manufacture a storyline for them to secure comebacks for the next season.
We know that producers wouldn’t want to part with Richards, but you have to consider how much she’s making...

Interviewing Vegyn isn’t easy. After three months of back-and-forth, I’m finally given a time to meet him on a gray day in early March at a coffee spot in east London. I’ve been eager to make this happen. Vegyn’s career is one of the most impressive in modern music, distinguished by collaboration, style, and a fair amount of mystery.
What, for instance, is his relationship with Frank Ocean, for whom Vegyn produced songs on both Blonde and Endless? What is it like working with Travis Scott,...

Amy Ryan in ‘Sugar’ episode 3 (Photo Credit: Apple TV+)
Apple TV+’s Sugar packs a lot into episode three, “Shibuya Crossing,” including more teasers as to John Sugar’s real mission. The episode also introduces John’s associates.
Episode three opens with John (Colin Farrell) confessing he’s been having nightmares. Not even very good boy Wiley the dog’s presence can calm John’s turbulent thoughts. He wakes and checks in with Ruby (Kirby), reporting that Wiley snores and kicks in his sleep. Small talk complete, Ruby confirms she has had no updates about Olivia Siegel.
Ruby’s still against John taking on this case, and John doesn’t know why. He admits to himself that it might be because of his shaking hand and bad dreams. However, he continues to tell himself he’s fine.

It’s become a catchphrase these days to compare TV to cinema.
Showrunners, stars, and producers often say their work is a long-form movie, as if being on TV is still somewhat taboo despite the soaring success of the medium.
Whether it’s big action, adventurous character arcs, or unbelievable cinematography, some people still find it hard to believe TV encompasses what once made film so unique.
Film stars and directors have flocked to the small screen to take advantage of the generosity of storytelling available, to see characters come to life with every human nuance available.
Experimentation exists on screens, both small and large, but on TV, you can make a different show every week or grow from one genre to another within the same season.

Denise Richards is not shutting down a possible return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
In a new interview, the former Bravo star said she would consider returning to the reality series.
“I always say, ‘Never say never,'” Richards told People.
Richards joined Rhobh in Season 9 and left after only two seasons on the show. The Wild Things star recently returned as a guest in Season 13 to confront Erika Jayne over unresolved issues from the past.
“I have nothing against her at all,” Richards said of Jayne. “We’ll see what happens when they get around to going back for their season.”
The most recent season of Rhobh starred Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Sutton Stracke, Annemarie Wiley and Kyle Richards.

Kyle Richards thinks she has a brilliant idea about who to cast in Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but viewers are not here for it.
The Og wants Hilaria Baldwin, the wife of actor Alec Baldwin to join the show — now that there’s at least one slot open with Annemarie’s Wiley’s recent departure.
Kyle was the one who suggested Annemarie to producers last season, and we know how that turned out.
Annemarie was arguably one of the worst casting choices on the franchise, and that’s saying a lot after the Diana Jenkins fiasco.
To say Rhobh viewers were not fond of Annemarie would be putting it nicely, as the response to her was brutal.
The mom of three didn’t forge any strong friendships with her castmates either, and after the reunion aired, Annemarie confirmed she was fired from the show.

Annemarie Wiley’s firing from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills didn’t come as much of a surprise.
What was shown of her on-screen didn’t win her many fans, but there were plenty of rumors as Rhobh Season 13 was airing that storylines were left on the cutting room floor.
Yes, reality TV is heavily edited. That isn’t new information, but the 41-year-old was shown on-screen to have an unhealthy obsession with Sutton Stracke’s esophagus.
Beyond that, people didn’t get to see who she truly was, and the Daily Mail reports that was intentional because many of the scenes removed from the narrative involved the cast clashing with Wiley due to her political views.
The outlet reports that her fellow Bravolebrities were “disgusted by her support of Donald Trump.”

Annemarie Wiley exits The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after only one season.
The nurse anesthesiologist confirmed on social media that Bravo was not asking her back to the reality series as production for Season 14 gets ready to start filming.
“I’m disappointed is an understatement,” Wiley said in a statement shared on Instagram. “I never auditioned for this show. The show found me and asked me to be on it out of the blue 6 weeks after the cast had already started filming. I was thrown into filming 2 weeks later, mid-season.”
She continued, “I was very excited about the opportunity, and I thought following exactly what I was instructed to do throughout filming last season was the way the ‘game was played.'”
Wiley noted that her “rookie mistake” was doing what she was instructed to do. Her major storyline of the season was questioning co-star Sutton Stracke regarding her esophagus.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills set the standard for what we expect from a show highlighting the glitz and glamour of one of the most expensive zip codes in the world.
The show has survived many big casting changes, but recently, it’s gone from being appointment viewing to one of those shows we watch without asking questions to one we’re scrutinizing because so many things are so off.
The series has had an impressive run, but producers are relying on contrived drama to get the show in the headlines and to keep fans watching.
In the past, the show didn’t need to look very far for new storylines, but sadly, the recently wrapped Rhobh Season 13 was one of the most pointless seasons in reality TV history.

We think it’s fair to say that Sutton Stracke and Annemarie Wiley had one of the randomest feuds in Real Housewives history.
Despite there being some resolution for them during the recent The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, it seems they are still pretty far apart.
In a new interview with the U.S. Sun, The Sutton Concept owner hinted they wouldn’t be filming the Bravo hit together soon.
“I don’t even talk to Annemarie,” she affirmed before wondering what her co-star could talk about if asked back for another season.
“Ehhh, I don’t know what else she’s going to talk about.”
“She could talk about, like, I don’t know. What’s next? My roots and my hair? Who cares,” Sutton shared.

Sutton Stracke recently hinted that newcomer Annemarie Wiley is out at Rhobh after just one season. The two butted heads during Season 13 so clearly, Stracke would not be mad about this. What did she have to say? Read on for more details.
Sutton Stracke Hints Annemarie Wiley Out At Rhobh
The final part of the Rhobh Season 13 reunion just aired on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024. Sutton Stracke only made it through the beginning before she had a medical emergency with Kathy Hilton’s arrival. The conversation turned to whom in the group feared Kathy and as Erika Jayne was answering, Sutton lost her balance. Annemarie Wiley rushed to her side and then a medic came before Garcelle Beauvais helped escort her to her trailer. She was then taken to the hospital but Sutton and Annemarie have had a contentious relationship.

Garcelle Beauvais and Dorit Kemsley are not friends and probably never will be.
That much we’ve surmised watching them go at it on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
During the first part of the Rhobh Season 13 reunion, their feud intensified somewhat after they got the chance to watch the episodes back.

Throughout The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13, Crystal Kung Minkoff and new housewife Annemarie Wiley have gone at it countless times.
Now that the season has finished airing, we know they met before they both shared the screen.
Things got fiery between them again during the Rhobh reunion after host Andy Cohen asked Wiley what she thought of Minkoff when she met her vs. when they were in front of the camera.
Wiley declared that Minkoff was “awesome off-camera,” but it was a “different tune” when the cameras went up.
Cohen then turned his attention to Minkoff and brought up her telling Garcelle Beauvais that Wiley initially proclaimed to be a doctor when they first met.
He then countered that “Anesthesiologist and Anesthetist are two very similar words” and wondered whether Minkoff got the two mixed up.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ casting team has delivered many perfect casting choices over the years.
Recently, though, it seems like they aren’t putting the work in to find the right cast members for the show, or maybe those who would once have signed on the dotted line are no longer interested.
These things happen.
After Diana Jenkins’ polarizing performance last season, all eyes were on Annemarie Wiley to see if she could bring the drama and strike a chord with fans.
Sadly, the newest addition to the cast seems destined to be another one-and-done housewife, but is there a way for Wiley to win fans and secure a contract for another season?
We’ve learned that we should never rule anything out with these shows. Every single year, we believe that Dorit Kemsley is being demoted, only for her to return the next and give us practically nothing.

We’ve learned that we should never rule anything out with these shows. Every single year, we believe that Dorit Kemsley is being demoted, only for her to return the next and give us practically nothing.

Fresh Air radio co-host Tonya Mosley is set to launch the She Has a Name podcast next month, about a young Detroit mother lost amid that city’s economic collapse and crack cocaine epidemic.
The 10-part documentary podcast from Apm Studios will kick off March 28. Mosley, who grew up in Detroit in the 1980s and ’90s and is now co-host of Fresh Air With Terry Gross and Tonya Mosley, is joined by her nephew, Antonio Wiley, to tell a story of family disconnection and healing.
The origins of the podcast, which blends investigative journalism and memoir, came in 1987 when Detroit firefighters discovered the remains of an unidentified young woman in a vacant house deliberately set on fire.
Buried in a cemetery as “Unknown Woman 1987,” it took a DNA program 30 years later to identify the young woman’s remains as those of Anita — the mother of Antonio Wiley and the sister...

Wednesday’s (January 31) episode of Bravo‘s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills saw a scary moment for Crystal Kung Minkoff after she started suffering from “stroke-like symptoms” while the ladies were vacationing in Spain. The episode captured the moment when the housewives’ cars pulled over to the side of the road after Minkoff revealed she was feeling unwell. A tearful Minkoff told the ladies, “These are like stroke symptoms,” per Entertainment Tonight. “She’s gray, she’s sweaty, her hands are swollen, her veins are raised. What if something is truly wrong with her?” Dorit Kemsley said in a confessional. Thankfully, Annemarie Wiley, a nurse anesthetist, was on hand to provide care and comfort. Ironically, Wiley’s intervention came after she and Minkoff had previously been involved in an argument regarding the former’s profession. Wiley put aside her differences to help Minkoff, who she determined was going through...

Annemarie Wiley hasn’t been the breath of fresh air The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills desperately needs, but Andy Cohen would like viewers to give the newest cast member a chance.
In a new interview with Et, Cohen delved into the criticism surrounding Wiley, who has caught heat from fans for talking about co-star Sutton Stracke’s esophagus, among other things.
The reunion host and Real Housewives franchise executive producer admitted wanting Wiley to “succeed.”
The conversation turned to social media, with the Watch What Happens Live host calling it “something you can’t be prepared for.”
“It’s a nasty world,” he added, but he believes that viewers will see a “new side of Annemarie” when the cast jets off to Spain during the final cast trip of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills can’t seem to catch a break in the casting department.
There were high hopes for Annemarie Wiley when she was revealed to be joining the cast last year following the departures of one-and-done Diana Jenkins and longtime pot-stirrer Lisa Rinna.
Over the last few weeks, viewers have watched Wiley speak with no filter about co-star Sutton Stracke’s esophagus.
It’s been a lot, and Wiley is now reacting to the fierce criticism from viewers, fellow Real Housewives, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
The Asa got embroiled in the drama on Friday with an Instagram statement calling out Wiley for seemingly misrepresenting her qualifications on-screen.
“The Real Housewives know a fake. Anesthesiologists are medical doctors,” the organization wrote alongside an informational photo comparing anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists.

Judge Denies Daniel Penny’s Request to Dismiss Manslaughter Case for Chokehold Death of Jordan Neely
Daniel Penny’s manslaughter and negligent homicide case will move toward a trial in New York after a judge rejected a request to dismiss on Wednesday, according to ABC News. If you were concerned there wouldn’t be enough unsubtle apiculture metaphors for meting out justice via hellacious ass-whooping in The Beekeeper, you can relax. Even if director David Ayer remains in his usual mode of glowering self-seriousness, whenever Jason Statham snarls about “protecting the hive” or “smoking out the hornets” or “killing the queen,” you get an inkling of how much fun this violent revenge thriller might have been in more playful hands. Still, watching the bullet-headed action star take down squads of government agents and thuggish mercenaries alike, mostly while unarmed, is fun enough. Probably even more so in Imax.
In a screenplay by Kurt Wimmer that’s nothing if not literal, Statham plays Adam Clay, a retired field operative from a top-secret national security force designed to step in and restore order whenever some nefarious criminal situation gets out of hand. Even though he’s no longer a “Beekeeper,...

Here’s the beautiful thing about David Ayer’s “The Beekeeper,” which is essentially a “John Wick” ripoff starring Jason Statham as a former top-secret government assassin who violently unretires after someone kills his bees: If for some twisted reason you showed me this movie right after I’d woken up from a 10-year coma and told me it was opening in theaters that Friday, I might not have any idea what year I was in, but I would know — within five minutes, and beyond a shadow of a doubt — that it was the second weekend of January.
Too silly for late August, too memorable for streaming, and so committed to its own stupidity that it starts to feel like smart counter-programming for prestige fare like “Poor Things” and “American Fiction,” “The Beekeeper” could reorient a lost critic to their current place in the film calendar as reliably as the...

At the tail end of my interview with American Fiction director Cord Jefferson, I asked him a brief question about finding the right tone for the ending of this directorial debut. Much to my surprise, he went deep into all aspects of the final moments: the extensive process of finding the right beat to conclude on, where he drew inspiration from for the meta ending, the test screening reactions, and more. With the film now out in wide release, it’s the opportune time to share this behind-the-scenes look at crafting the perfect finale.

With each passing year, cataloguing the best TV shows of the previous 365 days becomes harder and harder. That which we call “television” is such an enormous, broad concept that it seems impossible to even categorize it, let alone rank it in a neat fashion. Basically any TV show you could ever dream of can be found with the right combination of cable packages and streaming subscriptions.
Want the best video game adaptation ever? Boom. It’s done. Feel like watching a bespoke eight-episode saga that brings the works of Edgar Allan Poe to the present day for a political horror satire about the opioid epidemic? Off to Netflix you go. What about a cartoonish dramedy featuring a nun overcoming the trauma of losing her Las Vegas magician father by finding the literal holy grail to turn off a world-ruling artificial intelligence? You’re gonna have to try harder than that to trick the algorithm.

Marcellus Wiley, a former NFL star and ex-ESPN analyst, has been accused of raping a fellow Columbia University student back in 1994.
The lawsuit filed on Tuesday by an unnamed accuser (read it here) alleges that while Wiley was a sophomore at the private Ivy League school and a running back for the school’s football team, he “sexually assaulted plaintiff, raping her multiple times in her dorm room.”
“[Wiley’s] actions were intentionally designed to cause plaintiff severe emotional distress or were taken with reckless disregard of the significant and/or substantial probability of causing plaintiff severe emotional distress,” reads the lawsuit.
The filing states that the victim sought authorities at the university to report the rape but “administrators expressed fondness” for Wiley and doubted her claims suggesting that “the event was a misunderstanding.”

David Oyelowo as Bass Reeves and Mo Brings Plenty as Minco Dodge in ‘Lawmen: Bass Reeves’ episode 4 (Photo Credit: Lauren Smith / Paramount+)
Paramount+’s Lawmen: Bass Reeves episode four kicks off with an unusual scene. Bass (David Oyelowo) sings while shooting a hole through a hat. He’s wearing tattered clothing, and it’s quickly obvious this is part of a carefully planned disguise.
The reason? Reeves needs to appear nonthreatening when he arrives at a woman’s door. Although initially leery of this stranger’s appearance, the woman – Widow Dolliver (Dale Dickey) – lowers her rifle and invites him inside, impressed that he can quote the Bible.
Her adult children, Wiley and Darrell, show up at dinner time and get into a fistfight…not with Bass, but amongst themselves. Widow Dolliver asks Bass’ help in moving them into the bedroom, all the while fretting about the sleepless nights these ne’er-do-wells have cost her.

It’s now been over four years since Lisa Vanderpump departed “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and the chatter around her return reached a fevered pitch at BravoCon over the weekend when Andy Cohen named her as one of the three ex-Housewives he’d like to see return to the franchise. (Porsha Williams and Caroline Manzo were the other two.)
The cast of the current “Rhobh” — Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, Crystal Kung Minkoff and Annemarie Wiley — were asked about a potential Vanderpump return during their panel on Sunday.
“Would any of you like to see Lisa come back?” a fan asked during the Q&a portion.
“I mean I think she’s great television. She’s obviously an amazing businessperson. But I think there’s probably some unfinished business and I think she was really great on the show. But it was before my time,...

Kyle Richards broke down in tears at “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” BravoCon panel on Sunday while talking about her marital difficulties with husband Mauricio Umansky and the impact on their family.
“We’re family no matter what happens, and we are a very strong family unit. [Mauricio] was busy doing ‘Dancing With the Stars’ and he wasn’t around as much, but we’re just trying to figure it out. We love each other and…” she said, before becoming overcome with emotion and mouthing the words “I’m sorry” to moderator Zuri Hall. The audience then chanted her name in support, which you can see below:

One of the funniest moments from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 13 premiere was when cast member Sutton Stracke invited her friend, actress Jennifer Tilly, over for lunch and gossip.
“Jennifer Tilly is one of my best friends for over 10 years,” Stracke explained in her on-air confessional. “We love to go to fashion shows all over the world. I did put one of her salted caramels in my ear on an Air France flight. I thought it was the earplugs, and they were stuck in my ears and we couldn’t get it out.”
TheWrap sat down with Stracke just before Wednesday’s premiere and had to hear firsthand how the salted caramels story ended.
“Ok,” Stracke agreed, taking a breath. “I was on the plane still. I’d just woken up and was all groggy. I really did think that they were earplugs. It took about a week to get them out completely.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is back on Oct. 25 with a brand new season. However, there will be a couple of missing faces this time. Two of last season’s housewives won’t be returning. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Lisa Rinna, who joined as a main cast member in season 5, and Diana Jenkins, who became a housewife in season 12, have stepped away from the show.
Why did Lisa Rinna leave ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’
Rinna spent eight seasons on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. While season 12 was not kind to the former soap opera star, fans of the reality series were still shocked that she opted to walk away from the show entirely. Exclusive: Blue Fox Entertainment announced it has acquired worldwide rights and will be launching sales on the sci-fi thriller Site at the upcoming American Film Market in November. The gripping and thought-provoking film is written and directed by the award-winning Jason Eric Perlman, who was recently named #4 in LA Weekly’s “Top 10 Entertainment Professionals to Watch in 2023.” His debut feature Threshold was released by Sony Pictures after a decorated festival run in 2017.
Blue Fox Entertainment is handling worldwide sales and will preview first look footage of the film for buyers at the upcoming American Film Market (AFM). Blue Fox Entertainment’s US distribution division is planning a theatrical release for the film.
The film stars Jake McLaughlin, Arielle Kebbel, Theo Rossi, and Miki Ishikawa, and Yoson An.
In Site, Neil (Jake McLaughlin) experiences an inexplicable time distortion in an abandoned military test site while inspecting it with his business partner Garrison (Theo Rossi). Soon, Neil is having repeated traumatic flashes back to a WWII prison camp in China called Unit 731, which somehow holds the thread to his own unraveling present. Neil begins to realize that the past lives and events in this place of unspeakable brutality seem to mirror his own trauma with his son Wiley and his wife Elena (Arielle Kebbel). Desperate for answers, Neil enlists Naomi (Miki Ishikawa) to help him find the facility’s last surviving scientist. Ultimately, Neil awakens to a new redemptive responsibility, both within his own family and the greater society around him.
Site is produced by publicist and entrepreneur Benjamin Cooke, Sundance alum, Kelly Hayes, international businesswoman, Yvonne Supangkat, and Jason Eric Perlman.
Blue Fox Entertainment’s James Huntsman said, “Audiences are hungry for high quality science fiction thrillers, which have been scarce in the market recently. With Site, Jason and his talented cast and crew have created an exciting journey that has something relevant to say beneath the surface of the film.”
Director Jason Eric Perlman said, “We are thrilled to have this film beginning its journey in the viewing world. In this time of such unthinkable conflicts I believe it’s vital that creativity explores the interconnectedness of mankind, as well as the atrocities we are capable of inflicting upon one another. Site is intent upon doing both, but with the philosophical imperative that if we ignore history, or the darkness within each of us, we are doomed to repeat the same traumas over and over.
It has been an honor to work with our incredibly talented cast in bringing this story to life, and their commitment to the material elevates it to a remarkable plane. Our visionary crew is also to be credited with what I believe we’ve achieved. The cinematography of Eunah Lee and the brilliant production design of Gabor Norman were integral in the telling of this story to full potential. We are excited to team now with Blue Fox in launching this film into the world.”...

The 1986 horror comedy House, directed by Steve Miner from a screenplay by Ethan Wiley (based on a story by Fred Dekker), has a solid cult following to this day. The 1987 standalone sequel House II: The Second Story (watch it Here), which was written and directed by Wiley (again from a story by Dekker), has a less positive reputation than its predecessor. But there are fans out there who enjoy House II even more than the first House – and I happen to be one of those fans. So I’m very happy to see that JoBlo’s own Lance Vlcek has decided to celebrate House II: The Second Story, which has been a favorite of mine since childhood, with a new video that digs into The Best Scene in the movie! And AI-generated images seem to go viral all the time; that image of the Pope wearing a giant white puffer still makes me laugh, even if I know there's something not quite right there. As a writer, I'm constantly thinking about the threat AI poses to what I do, too.
Somewhat serendipitously - seeing as these projects have been in the works for literally years - it's also been a big year for fictional AI onscreen. This summer, "Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1" featured Tom Cruise's borderline superhuman Ethan Hunt facing off against a literal AI. The humans he physically fights in the real world are directed...

Thursday Morning, fresh off controversy after claiming that Covid-19 was “ethnically targeted” towards certain races, presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. testified before The House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.
Earlier this week, more than 100 Democrats filed a letter to the Judiciary Committee calling for Kennedy to be excluded from the hearing. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy himself said he disagreed “with everything [Kennedy] said,” but to exclude him would undermine the topic of the meeting itself: censorship.

ChatGPT might very well take my job one day. Which is why it was probably a bad idea to give it a job interviewing the creators and star of Peacock’s offbeat limited series “Mrs. Davis.” But the gimmick was too good to pass up: “Mrs. Davis,” created by Tara Hernandez and Damon Lindelof, stars Betty Gilpin as Sister Simone, a nun who takes on an algorithm that has infiltrated most of the world with the promise of solving humanity’s problems.
So, I figured, why not have an AI grill Hernandez, Lindelof and Gilpin about their show. The three of them immediately got it when we talked over Zoom in late April. We’re all victims of the algorithm and fascinated by the hold it now has on our lives and our jobs.

A surge of excitement rushes as I sit down to interview actor and queer icon, Samira Wiley, about a collaboration made in my own personal gay heaven: a 5-foot tall portrait of Wiley, created entirely from Lego bricks. The portrait was created to kickstart a campaign encouraging the use of play and creative expression, to explore who we are and celebrate our identity.
“There’s some fun visuals in there.” Wiley grins. “Things you wouldn’t know unless you were in the room with us.” Her smile is as electric as her personality,...
