Christopher B. Stokes, the directors of such films as House Party 4, You Got Served, Somebody Help Me, Somebody Help Me 2, The Stepmother, and The Stepmother 2, is about to send four more movies out into the world over the course of just three months – and it’s all thanks to the Tubi streaming service. Tyler Perry's Ruthless is ready to return with the second half of its first season. The first 12 episodes of the season finished airing on June 4th. The next dozen episodes kick off on November 26th with three new installments.
The BET+ drama series follows the members of a cult, and it began in a backdoor pilot during The Oval. Melissa L. Williams, Matt Cedeño, Lenny D. Armed with this knowledge, Ruth and several new fearful cult members try to take control of their individual destinies. Exclusive: Umc, the AMC Networks streaming service with a focus on Black film and TV, has renewed four of its original series including the top-rated Craig Ross Jr.’s Monogamy and A House Divided, which will both return for their third seasons.

Tyler Perry is expanding his partnership with Bet Network with two new series, “Bruh” and “Ruthless” for the network’s streaming service, Bet Plus, Variety has learned exclusively.
