- The first music video that Rocco directed (Velvet Revolver's "The Last Fight") reached #9 on VH1's Top-10 Countdown.
- Works closely with Adopt the Arts, a non-profit organization that brings together well-known artists, public figures, entrepreneurs, policy makers, and the general public to save the arts in America's public schools. Board Members include Jane Lynch, Slash, Juliette Lewis, and Billy Bob Thornton.
- Is a voting member of NARAS (The Grammys, The Recording Academy), and a Writer/Publisher member of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers). Rocco's songs are licensed through APM Music.
- Grew up in upstate New York (Hudson Valley).
- Was the official documentarian for the supergroup Velvet Revolver for the life of the band (2002-2008).
- Is also a photographer. His photographs have appeared in Entertainment Weekly, Billboard Magazine, Kerrang, Penthouse, and Bass Player, as well as outdoor billboard campaigns in New York and Los Angeles.
- Is also a songwriter and record producer. Has produced two American Idol finalists (Didi Benami and Amanda Overmyer), and worked with Elton John and members of Weezer, Pearl Jam, and The Cult.
