- Douglas Elia is a professional musician, composer and occasional actor. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, his love of the theater began when his father, an architect, was enlisted to design sets for local theater productions. After taking film classes in school, he turned his attention to music. But has stayed active in the industry. Including working as a sound tech on film crews and the design and installation of stage lighting systems. He has played in bands from Boston to Seattle. Residing in Portland, Oregon, he can often be found involved in local recording studio sessions, both for his own projects and as a session musician.
