Koffee With Karan 8 Ep 11 Ft. Janhvi Kapoor – Khushi Kapoor Keeps Sliding Between Yayss & Nayys ( Photo Credit – DisneyPlus Hotstar / YouTube )
It was yet another episode of Koffee with Karan 8, which tried not to be controversial and yet come out entertaining and funny. But it seems like the team has a long way to go before they crack the code to entertain without being b*tchy, controversial, entitled, and privileged. However, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor’s episode tried building up on the heart-to-heart revelations, but the unwarranted Bf digs were a major turn-off for the episode, which otherwise was going well.
The episode started off with a high, with the sisters sharing the most traumatic part of their lives. While you started connecting to them on an emotional level, it skyrocketed towards the most important Koffee conversation since the past year – Kartik Aaryan!

“You like them crazy do you? I’m crazy through and through...” croons Sam Smith on their fourth album, Gloria. Smith seems too sweet to live up to the boast. You could safely take every song on this easygoing record home to meet the parents. Even on “I’m Not Here to Make Friends”, a track about searching for a lover in the darkness of a club, you can still imagine Smith at said club volunteering to be the designated driver for their mates.
This warmly conversational quality is nicely expressed on opener “Love Me More”, in which Smith asks listeners: “Have you ever felt like being somebody else?” They admit that the identity that “used to burn” now feels increasingly comfortable. Set to an affable, Nineties R&b beat, the song sees the mainstream pioneer of non-binary life holding out a companionable hand to anyone struggling to accept themselves.

Since breaking through a decade ago with their impassioned vocal on Disclosure’s churning club smash “Latch,” Sam Smith has been one of pop’s premier torch singers. Their ability to express yearning, whether by using their gasped upper register or their voice’s smoothed-out lower reaches, lends itself naturally to ballads, or glumly kinetic songs like the 2019 Normani collaboration “Dancing With a Stranger.”
Smith, a charismatic performer and skilled interpreter of lyrics, has often seemed a bit boxed in by the sad-singer ideal. In 2022, they exploded any expectations that...

The energy on the waters of San Juan’s Balneario de Carolina on March 24 was majestic but stormy. Tropical rain and wind buffeted the opening night of Afro Nation Puerto Rico, muddying the festival grounds and sending some festivalgoers ducking for cover while others danced in the mist. But another storm was brewing among attendees of the three-day event that billed itself as “the world’s biggest Afrobeats festival”: For many of the fans standing in the rain, the artists they’d traveled to see weren’t on the island at all.

Koffee has only had about a dozen of her songs widely available to stream until now, but the 22-year-old Jamaican artist is already proving she can reinvigorate reggae and dancehall for a pop audience. Her joyous 2018 smash “Toast” earned her spots on two of Barack Obama’s coveted playlists, and in 2019 she became the first woman to win the Grammy for Best Reggae Album. Spotify has launched a Netflix hub with soundtracks, playlists, podcasts and exclusive content related to programming on the streaming video service.
The hub is accessible to both free and premium Spotify subscribers in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland and India.
Spotify has 381 million monthly active users and 172 million subscribers in 184 global markets. Netflix, the leader in streaming video, has about 214 million subscribers.
The hub is seen as a joint promotional initiative and did not involve any money changing hands between the companies, which have collaborated in the past.
“It’s clear that after the credits roll, viewers are left wanting even more—and they come to Spotify to hear it,” the audio streamer said in announcing the hub. Within two weeks of the premiere of Squid Game on Netflix earlier this fall, Spotify said, listeners to its service had made more than 22,500 unique, themed playlists dedicated to the show.
