With a screenplay penned by the creative minds of John Glenn (Eagle Eye), Jacob Roman and Kenny Ryan (Seal Team), the film is set in a post-apocalyptic Rocky Mountains, where a single father and two women venture from the safety of their homes to face monstrous creatures to save the life of a young boy. The creature feature Elevation, which stars Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) and Morena Baccarin (Deadpool), went into production in the second half of 2022 with director George Nolfi, who previously worked with Mackie on the films The Banker and The Adjustment Bureau, at the helm. Now it has finally secured a theatrical distributor in the U.S., with a press release announcing that Vertical is planning to bring the film to the big screen sometime later this year.
