The previously announced stage musical adaptation of Mizuho Kusanagi's Yona of the Dawn manga today revealed a new key visual (above) and pairs of solo visuals for both Yona and Hak Son. Tokyo's Theater H will play host to the Tsuneyasu Motoyoshi-directed show from July 20 to July 28 later this year, featuring a screenplay penned by Aoto Tani, music compositions by Masato Kamata and choreography by Shinji Rachi. Mizuho Kusanagi’s shojo manga Yona Of The Dawn will be getting a musical adaptation. An official website and Twitter account, which were launched as a part of the adaptation, unveiled a visual on March 19, 2024, to commemorate the announcement.
The musical adaptation will adapt the “Four Dragon Arc” from the first volume of the manga, and will be performed at Theater H in Tokyo from July 2024.
Tsuneyasu Motoyoshi will serve as the director, with Aoto Tani in charge of the scripts. Masato Kamata will be in charge of music composition, while Shinji Rachi will do the choreography.

A musical adaptation of Mizuho Kusanagi's epic fantasy manga Yona of the Dawn (known as Akatsuki no Yona in Japan) is set to perform at the Theater H in Tokyo in July 2024. The manga began serialization in Hakusensha's Hanato Yume magazine in 2009, and this year marks the 15th anniversary of its serialization. The series has released 43 volumes to date, and its total number of copies printed has exceeded 14 million.
