The hit show Property Virgins is back and in a new home at A&e. With the new digs comes a new host in Wendy Wolfe. The radio and TV personality brings impressive credentials including being a top realtor in Toronto. She takes the hosting baton from Sandra Rinomato and Egypt Sherrod, working with clients as they make one of the biggest financial decisions: buying their first home. You never forget your first, and Wolfe hopes these newbie owners leave with fond memories from the purchasing experience. Each episode brings a couple from different backgrounds, budgets, and wishlists for their perspective home. Wolfe is tasked with presenting them with choices from fixer-uppers to turnkeys to a property that may fall in between. Here Wolfe explains why this iteration of Property Virgins stands out. How did this opportunity to host come about? Wendy Wolfe: It was kind of random. I used to...

Ah, the holidays. Time for the sharing of cheer, the giving of thanks, and - for millions of families like mine - the marathon viewing of Hgtv.
Let's face it: being cooped up for days on end with the same group of people isn't good for anyone, and before too long with too little to do even the most harmonious of families start to resemble the Big Brother house. That's why Hgtv is the perfect holiday guest: it's less divisive than CNN, less maudlin than Christmas specials, and it's not football.
But before we settle into a 12-episode run of Property Virgins, let's admit that sometimes Hgtv, for all its pluck and know-how, makes us want to kick a hole through some newly-hung drywall.
Why We Watch It

Everyone's favourite "reality check" realtor is returning to prime time. Sandra Rinomato, best known for managing the lofty expectations of first-time buyers on "Property Virgins," is back. This time around, she's helping single gals find the perfect place to nest on the new show "Buy Herself."
After 130 episodes of "Property Virgins," Rinomato felt it was time to move on. Over the years, she's noticed that more and more single women are buying homes on their own. In fact, one of four buyers today are single women, while single men represent only one in ten buyers. With that intriguing stat in mind, Rinomato decided to craft a new house-hunting show around it.
HuffPost TV Canada sat down with Rinomato at Yorkville's chi-chi Hazelton Hotel to chat about everything from her unlikely fans (including random marriage proposals from smitten male viewers) to her stylin' new look (buh-bye, pantsuits!) to which nit-picky house-hunting complaints drive her the craziest.
