Colin Owens was born in Sacramento, California on August 17, 1984.
Growing up with an older brother, Colin graduated Christian Brothers HS
in 2002 and went on to attend UC Santa Cruz, majoring in business. He
was also on the University's Swim team. He began modeling in college,
which soon turned into a full time job and left school to move to Los
Angeles to pursue a career in his lifelong dream of acting. Colin
started acting in commercials and continued modeling for multiple
international print campaigns. He took acting classes at Second City
Improv and at Brad Henke and Stella Adler's Acting studio. Colin was
found by a casting director and hired to be Ashton Kutcher's double and
stand-in and has worked with Ashton on many movies and commercials.
While on the set of 'Valentine's Day' the directors decided to cast
Colin in a role as a young news anchor alongside Jaime Foxx. He then
went to play the role of Max in the thriller film 'The Sacred'.
