Jack Gibson will never know peace!
They didn't waste any time delving into the thick of it on Station 19 Season 7 Episode 1, and if it's one thing the premiere did, it reminds us how special this series is and how upsetting it is that we're losing it.
While the fight is still ongoing for many viewers to save the series, until then, it's evident they will take us on an emotional rollercoaster of a ride for this final season.
With Jack's life in peril and his career in the balance, Dixon's death bringing Emmett back into our orbit, and Andy grappling with her first day as chief happening while her best friend was fighting for his life, the hour was intense.
When you consider all that, Theo thriving in his f*ckboy era after canoodling with chaotic Kate in the coat room during Station 19 Season 6 Episode 18 was small potatoes.

Jason George has been wanting to direct for years, but it’s with the May 5 episode of Station 19 that the former Grey’s Anatomy star (finally) stepped behind the camera. “There’s so many things going on this episode. I got served this great episode,” he tells TV Insider of “Death and the Maiden.” Remember, last we saw, Andy (Jaina Lee Ortiz) was arrested after the attacker she fought off died. Now, her fate remains unknown as a trial date is set. Plus, Vic (Barrett Doss) and Sullivan (Boris Kodjoe) are approached by an unexpected guest. George, who plays firefighter Ben Warren on the ABC show, tells us about stepping behind the camera and previews the rest of the season. Congratulations on your directorial debut! Jason George: Thank you. I appreciate it. It was an incredible time. I had so much fun and I just loved that the whole cast and crew was there for me.

The secret to Grey’s Anatomy star Jason George's marriage to author-poet Vandana Khanna is... cauliflower? "It’s almost like a safe word," the 46-year-old actor exclusively tells Closer Weekly of their peacekeeping strategy. "When I yell, 'Cauliflower,' we stop arguing. We walk away. Neutral corners. Then, 99 percent of the time, we’re prepared to own our mistakes — and the makeup sex is a beautiful thing!" Jason — whose Grey's Anatomy character Dr. Ben Warren is now moving to the series new ABC spin-off, Station 19 — prefers to woo his literary wife with prose that’s heavier on romance than produce. "I’m not a bad writer; just not as good as her. But I’ll write heartfelt things and I think she appreciates my effort," he shares with a laugh. So sweet! A post shared by Jason W George (@jasonwinstongeorge) on Mar 9, 2018 at 12:52pm Pst If you're...

Grey's Anatomy's Chandra Wilson Was Never in Fear for Bailey's Survival: "I Live Too Much in Denial"
Miranda Bailey, you had us worried for a minute. In last night's stellar episode of Grey's Anatomy, our favorite Chief of Surgery found herself on the receiving end of some subpar medical care at neighboring Seattle Presbyterian when she realized she was having a heart attack, but couldn't convince any of the narrow-minded docs at the lesser hospital that she knew what she was talking about. The emotional hour put us through the wringer, shedding some light on Miranda's upbringing and allowing the luminous Chandra Wilson to bask in the spotlight she so rightly deserved, but in the end, the fiercely devoted doc pulled through, coming to terms with hubby Ben Warren's (Jason George, who has departed Grey's...

“The notion of Bailey having a heart attack came up,” Elisabeth Finch, who has been writing for the ABC drama for four seasons, tells People. “We were all horrified by that. Get ready for a three block trip, Grey's Anatomy fans! During tonight's new episode of the long-running ABC medical drama, the network finally debuted the first look at their new Shondaland series Station 19, aka the formerly untitled Grey's spinoff. We've got to say, if those brief few moments are any indication, the new series is going to be red hot. And not just because, like Jason George's Ben Warren, we're leaving Grey Sloan Memorial behind to chase fires with the crew of the titular fire station. Aside from showing Ben in his new habitat, the trailer gives us our first look at new leading lady Jaina Lee Ortiz, who stars in Station 19 as Andy Herrera, the Meredith Grey-esque main...

Station 19 is just “three blocks down!” from Grey Sloan Memorial, a fact made explicitly, abundantly, crystal clear in this first trailer for the firefighter-themed Grey’s Anatomy spinoff (scroll down for the video).

The Grey's Anatomy firefighter spinoff officially has a title!
The network confirmed on Thursday that the new drama series will be titled Station 19.
If you were playing along with us, that's not too far off from one of the titles we at TV Fanatic predicted!!
It makes sense, but it's not quite Blaze Anatomy. Maybe ABC wanted to set the title apart from the parent series in an attempt to bring in viewers who do not watch the mothership series.
As previously reported, Station 19 will debut with a two-hour debut Thursday, March 22 and will unspool one episode in the 9/8c ever week for the rest of its first season.
Scandal will move an hour later to accommodate the new series. Having the Grey's Anatomy lead-in will likely give it the best chance of being a success.

Hot off the presses — ABC’s firefighter-themed Grey’s Anatomy spinoff at long last has a name.
The network on Thursday announced that the Seattle-based offshoot — which is scheduled to premiere in March — will be titled Station 19.
Earlier this month, ABC boss Channing Dungey told TVLine that a decision/announcement about the show’s title was imminent. She went on to rule out Seattle Fire as an option due to the existence of NBC’s Chicago Fire.

The Grey's Anatomy spinoff is arriving on ABC is two months, but the show still has no name. While the producers are no doubt hard at work on landing the perfect title, the cast of the series, which follows Grey's character Ben Warren (Jason George) as he vacates the halls of Grey Sloan Memorial for the firehouse just three blocks away, is waiting just as impatiently as we are to find out just what to call the show that they hope will catapult them to Ellen Pompeo-levels of TV fame. The latest installment to our Tgit ritual is only a few months away, and we are getting very excited. The upcoming Grey's Anatomy spinoff may still be untitled, but what the show will look like when it joins the Tgit lineup this March is coming into view. The cast of the Seattle firehouse-set drama, along with the producers, appeared before journalists during ABC's day at the 2018 TCA Winter Press Tour, where they fielded questions about how the series will fit into the larger Grey's Anatomy universe and how often we might expect to see characters from Grey Sloan Memorial mixing it up with the first responders Ben Warren's (Jason George) chosen to work with as he gives up being a surgeon. "It'll be similar and different. It was a priority for me in thinking about this as a Grey's Anatomy...

‘Grey’s Anatomy:’ Will Ben and Bailey’s Relationship Last Into Spin-Off? Star Jason George Weighs In
One of the biggest questions heading into the second half of “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 14 and its firefighter spin-off is how Dr. Ben Warren (Jason George) and Dr. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson)’s marriage will fare after Ben’s new career choice. Before the “Grey’s” holiday hiatus, Ben finally told Bailey he applied to the Firefighter Academy, and, in George’s words, she is “not a fan.” Ben is motivated to join the Academy after saving Dr. Stephanie Edwards (Jerrika Hinton) from a hospital fire in the Season 13 finale. But Bailey, who’s still Chief of Surgery at Grey Sloan Memorial,...
