This may have been an hour devoid of Jensen Ackles (boo!), but the Shaw Family drama was creeping in the background of Tracker Season 1 Episode 13, as Colter headed back to a place his family used to frequent to help an old friend.
Said friend had a lot of interesting information for Colter and the audience to ponder over now that the first season of the CBS hit has come to a close.
There was much to enjoy about Tracker Season 1, as the Justin Hartley-led action drama lived up to the hype and became a bonafide hit with viewers who enjoyed the complex cases of the week and Hartley's appeal.
Was it perfect? Absolutely not.
But that's a discussion for another day and perhaps another article where we break down the season in a much larger context.
For now, let's concentrate on the finale, which saw...

The upcoming Michael Jackson biopic “Michael” is embracing the Motown sound — announcing key castings including Larenz Tate as Motown Records founder Berry Gordy and Kat Graham as the legendary Diana Ross.
As the film chronicles Jackson’s rise to prominence — first as a member of the Jackson 5, then as a solo artist — the record label will factor in significantly. “Power” franchise star Tate (who coincidentally played “Thriller” producer Quincy Jones in 2004’s “Ray”) takes on the Motown impresario Gordy, who redefined American music by platforming such acts as the Jackson 5, Smokey Robinson & the Miracles, the Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, the Four Tops, Gladys Knight and the Pips and Diana Ross & the Supremes.
Graham portrays Ross, who, as lead singer of the chart-topping group, was asked to officially introduce the Jackson 5 to the world and remained a lifelong influence on Michael Jackson.

Today is Veteran’s Day, and to mark the occasion we’re doing to dip into the true story that inspired one of the greatest war movies ever made. Steven Spielberg’s Saving Private Ryan is commonly referred to as one of the most effective war movies ever made. Released in July 1998, Private Ryan was quickly lauded for its brutal depiction of life in combat, with most people singling out its stunning, harrowing recreation of the invasion of Omaha Beach on June 6th, 1944. The film went on gross a surprising $481 million worldwide and won five Oscars, including Best Director for Spielberg, who dedicated the movie to his father, a World War II vet. While the film of course took many a page from the history books to tell its gripping tale, the overall story – about a platoon of soldiers dispatched to recover a young private after three of his brothers...

The end of Power Book IV: Force Season 2 Episode 10 was epic. A fast-paced hour with plenty of jaw-dropping moments, the final hour put a profound exclamation point on a successful second effort.
The heart and soul of the series lies with Tommy Egan, its main player and the source of so many riveting moments throughout the season and in its final moments. And we were thrilled to get some time with the magnetic Joseph Sikora to talk about it all.
From Tommy and Diamond's partnership to Tommy's relationship woes and his appreciation for showrunner Gary Lennon, we covered a lot of ground in this informative chat.
This one's for you, Power Force fanatics!
I wanted to start with Tommy and Diamond because that was a central dynamic in the second season. Their partnership worked out, but something was missing between the two of them.

Alongside the launch of Las Vegas’ Sphere, there may be a growing number of recording artists and venues looking to enhance entertainment experiences like concerts with the latest tech. That includes Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium, which is highlighted by its massive Samsung Infinity Screen.
The Infinity Screen is a bespoke oval 70,000 square foot, dual-sided 4K LED display that hangs 122 ft. above the playing field (as well as the length of the field at 120 yards). The 2.2 million-pound ring — which also holds the speakers for the Stadium’s unique sound system — has been the centerpiece of the stadium since SoFi opened in 2020 as home to the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, while also serving as a concert venue that has recently hosted the likes of Taylor Swift and Beyoncé.

Insecure star Kendrick Sampson is going to Dallas where SAG-AFTRA is set to hold a rally on Saturday. The visit is significant to Sampson in support of Texas actors navigating the strike under the leadership of Governor Greg Abbott, who he calls an “evil human being”.
SAG-AFTRA members will rally at 9am on Saturday in Dallas’ Reverchon Park.
“I’m heading to Dallas to support another SAG[-AFTRA] action for the workers there in solidarity with everything – all the wild, craziness that Governor Abbott is imposing on everybody. He’s just an evil human being,” Sampson tells Deadline at the Star Trek picket held at Paramount Studios on Friday.
“I’m frustrated and it’s a super emotional day. This is bulls**t. The fact that we have to do this and the fact that we have so many people out here. I’m on the verge of tears...

Kendrick Sampson (“Something from Tiffany’s”) joined his fellow SAG-AFTRA members at the Netflix picket lines, but his participation wasn’t just to support the mission of picketing actors but to also show up marginalized communities and the narratives of Black people in Hollywood.
“We’re out here protesting not just for our extracurricular activities and some bougie pastime, we’re out here protesting for the future, for marginalized folks, Black folks,” Sampson said. “We’re out here protesting for the future of our narratives, the future of out stories, the health of our communities.”

Robert Englund’s most famous role as Freddy Krueger in the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise only scratches the surface of his prolific career. With over 150 credits in film and television and counting, the actor remains a heavyweight in the horror space. That includes cameo appearances, where Englund’s history and experience bring welcome depth to each part, no matter how fleeting.
Some Robert Englund cameos offer a wry wink to horror fans, while others intentionally play on audience expectations based on his more prominent roles.
