The coroner, Kendall (Ransford Doherty) examines Sara's Db at the scene, stating she hasn't been dead all that long. Buzz (Phillip P Keene) uses his video camera to film as usual and Sara's computer is missing. Brenda (Kyra Sedgwick) asks Provenza (Gw Bailey) to speak with Skander (Aaron Refvem) as he's kind of close to him. Morales (Jonathan Del Arco) was meant to be with his boyfriend's family. He finds Sara has the same torture marks on her body as her sister, Anila. Brenda invites Morales to Christmas dinner with everyone else at work. Flynn (Tony Denison) crosses off everyone's names on the board, as each one of their plans is put paid to. Tao (Michael Paul Chan) has an Albanian translation book and tells them of an Albanian rule of the 'blood feud' called 'Kanun' which doesn't allow for anyone to be killed in their home, or for women to be killed either.

A man spots another on an escalator and follows him. They argue in Albanian, then physically fight and the elder man pulls out a knife and is then pushed in front of an approaching police car. No one at Major Crimes wants the case as they all have plans for Christmas. Captain Raydor (Mary McDonnell) has a family event planned since her father is unwell and this may be his last Christmas. Brenda (Kyra Sedgwick) believes it's not a murder since the murderer is dead and the Vic was only slightly injured. Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are placed in competition against each other at the upcoming 31st Annual Young Artist Awards. As the Young Artist Foundation unveiled this year's nominees, it is revealed that the two Disney stars and best friends are vying for Leading or Supporting Young Actress title in a category for TV movie, mini-series or special.
Both Selena and Demi received the nomination for their performance as Carter Mason and Rosalinda respectively in "Princess Protection Program". Beside each other, they are also up against two other hopefuls, Tori Barban of "The Christmas Hope" and Patricia Raven of "Dear Harvard".
