Happy 10th anniversary to The X Factor!
We've already compiled a few of our favourite X Factor moments over the past decade, so now we're going to celebrate with a quiz to see if you can name the following 10 ex-finalists.
Do you recognise any of these former hopeful faces? Have a go below:
1. Series 5 - guess the X Factor finalist
Can you remember this slightly cheesy (and extremely hair conscious) performer mentored by Simon Cowell back on The X Factor back in 2008?
Following his X Factor departure, he's performed at Butlin's Holiday Park in Skegness, turned on the Stevenage town Christmas lights and appeared in Attitude magazine's naked edition.
2. Series 8 - guess the X Factor finalist
No-one could remember this act's name while she was on the show, so we doubt it'll spring to mind two years on. That's a shame, because this former barmaid from London had a really...

Little Mix have a lot to answer for. There was a time when girl groups knew their place on X Factor. Miss Frank, Kandy Rain, Hope, Bad Lashes. They all knew that they were merely making up the numbers and that an early Live Shows departure was guaranteed.
Then Little Mix came along, spoiled it all by being rather good at the whole being fun popstars malarkey and suddenly every cobbled-together-at-Boot-Camp collective believe that stardom might be just around the corner.
And so we come to Miss Dynamix, a female three-piece who fitted together like a jam, ham and pineapple sandwich. Never in the entire history of pop have three people possessed such a minuscule amount of chemistry.
Featuring the pregnant one, the tall one and the one that never talked, they were always a walking elimination waiting to happen and after being handed a bye last week, this weekend was a mere formality.

X Factor series 10's Live Shows kicked off with an '80s Week theme. Joy Division, Billy Bragg, C86, Metallica and the Beastie Boys were all surprisingly snubbed as song choices in favour of Whitney, Bryan Adams and Phil Collins.
Who would ever accuse The X Factor of being predictable?
The song choices weren't the only predictable thing on Saturday night as the old Louis Walsh book of clichés was wheeled out ("This is the toughest challenge yet", "The word with you is potential", "international stars", "you've got the whole package"), and a bunch of oiled-up backing dancers and various wacky stage antics (lifts, giant boxes, wind machines) masked many a vocal sin.
Even, Dermot's embarrassing dad opening dance routine has been ditched this year. Did he draw the line at twerking? The whole show has been Barlow-fied. No joke acts. No silliness. Even Sharon Osbourne, when she was vaguely coherent,...

Cher Lloyd has admitted that she hopes to gain fame through The X Factor and hopefully become a world famous rapper one day.
The 16 year old from Malvern in Worcestershire was seen impressing Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Natalie Imbruglia on tonight’s show. Cher sang Turn My Swag On by Soulja Boy. (The Keri Hilson version) and afterwards Cole told her:
“You are right up my street! You are actually my favourite audition so far. Little bit of attitude there, I like it.”
In an interview with The Sunday Mirror, Lloyd admitted that she loves Cheryl and enjoys the fact that many people think she resembles her.
She said:
“I admire her fashion, her looks and I even have a tattoo of a musical note like hers on my hand.
“I’m not even old enough to have a tattoo, but I have three. I know it’s naughty.

With all the hype surrounding John and Edward Grimes this week, it is easy to forget that they didn’t actually win The X Factor last year. In fact they didn’t even make it to the final, but still they attract more attention that the winner Joe McElderry.
In an interview with The Sun, Jedward claimed that they weren’t in competition with Joe, but then went on to blast his performing style.
John told the newspaper: “Us and Joe are not in competition, he’s doing his thing and we are doing ours. He sings a ballad and just stands there whereas we make sure we don’t go out there and have anything lacking. We don’t just stand there like a blank page.
“We want to become more solid as John and Edward rather than just X Factor contestants. We know we have to prove ourselves...

Louis Walsh has admitted that he was unhappy to be handed the Groups category on The X Factor this year. The Irish music mogul was assigned the bands for the fourth time in six series on the latest run. He then went on to choose Kandy Rain, Miss Frank and John & Edward as his final three acts. Speaking to The Mirror, Walsh revealed: "My worst moment [on the show this year] came when I got the Groups again. I thought, 'What am I going to do? It's my sixth year and I've had them four times, what am I going to do?'. "Simon [Cowell] and Cheryl [Cole] got the two best categories this year, they had so much to choose from. People think it is staged but you just don't (more)...

X Factor acts are more likely to be voted off if they perform near the beginning of the show, a new study has suggested. Researchers at Cambridge University used data from 150 rounds of The X Factor and Pop Idol to see whether their running orders had any effect on weekly results. Dr Lionel Page, who was one of the academics behind the investigation, said that no acts have been eliminated after singing last on the current series. He explained: "In week one, Kandy Rain went out and they were second on, in week three Miss Frank left after being third on. John and Edward Grimes went when they were third (more)...

Finally we got to catch up with a ridiculously upbeat Jamie Archer to talk about what he’s been up to since leaving X Factor on Sunday night. I’d already read a few interviews by the time we caught up, and Jamie was refreshingly candid in each one.
Often, when you chat to an X Factor contestant they’re media prepped to the point that you get nothing interesting or relevant to report – not so with Mr Archer, who spoke openly about his frustrations with the X Factor format and his gratitude to the show for giving him such a big break.
Here’s the transcript of our chat (and thanks to Jamie for being a great interviewee!)
It’s not often we get to interview an X Factor contestant at the end of the week – tell us about what you’ve been up to.
It’s just been madness.

Jamie Archer has admitted that it’s not all bad to be kicked off The X Factor, because at least now he’ll be able to have sex!
Under Simon Cowell’s dictatorship, none of the X Factor hopefuls are allowed to have sex whilst on the show and are expected to adhere to an 8.30pm curfew. Jamie has been dating Kandy Rain’s Coco Lloyd and revealed that his first thoughts were of her when he was told he was voted off the show.
Jamie told The Sun said: “I have never gone so long without sex. Six weeks is a long time. I’m a red blooded male. I have needs. I can’t live on bread and water alone.
“I am the horniest man in Britain. I can’t wait to do it. When I was standing there at deadlock, after the initial shock had happened I...

Everybody ready for what promises to be a controversial results show? Cheryl and Dannii are rocking the outlandish frocks, Louis and Simon aren’t. Dermot’s giving us the run-down of tonight’s episode, and the ensemble performance is about to begin…
They’re doing Bohemian Rhapsody tonight. Ambitious! Because Rhapsody is such a long song, they’ve picked out highlights from it, which sounds a little bit like fast-forwarding through the song somewhat. It only gets really good when Brian May and Roger Taylor make their appearance. What? The guitar solo continues while Brian May’s hand is in the air. Seems the contestants aren’t the only ones miming tonight!
Still, nice to see the old dogs rocking the stage. Even if they couldn’t remember Stacey’s name…
Recap time!
Yeah, we get the usual mix of last night’s footage and backstage commentary. Makes me stand...

Jamie revealed: “I love blondes and I’ve got a soft spot for her. She’s a lovely girl.”
The pal continued: “They kept in touch and were texting each other all the time.
“Jamie suggested they go on a date and Coco jumped at the chance. It’s been all systems go ever since.”
The pal went on: “We all know that Jamie has an eye for the ladies and has had his fair share of groupies in the past.
