From Bravest Warriors to The Sidekick to Badman, YouTube is chock-full of superhero parodies. Now, a new entry to the burgeoning genre is allowing Machinima to get in on the fun. Three Torches (Out of Five) Game Dogs is a webseries about a group of dogs, Gary, Chet, Roger, and Bethany, who work at Electro Software where their job is to create games, or get fired: a make-it-or-break-it job if ever there was one. It's created by the folks over TheEscapist.com, the online gaming magazine where the series runs, including publisher Alexander Macris and editor Russ Pitts. The show features voice talents by Jon Etheridge, Tony Schnur, and Alena Koch. The pilot is promising -- equal parts irony, satire, and absurdity. But as the series picks up, story-wise, it's sometimes slow-going.
