The former pageant winner arrested recently for public intoxication is staging one very convincing mea culpa.
After Megan Burgess' resident assistant called police to her University of Arkansas dorm, the 2010 Miss Teen Arkansas title-holder was taken into custody. But she was quick to make an apology.
TMZ reports that the Miss USA Organization says Burgess called them shortly after her arrest. "She even called over to us and said she was 'sorry if I brought any shame on my state,'" says one rep, adding that she's "a sweet girl who exemplifies the values of a Miss Teen title holder and is mortified about this."
It's Ok, Megan. College can be a confusing time. And, if it's any consolation, at least you take an awfully nice mug shot.
