He was born in London, England and moved to Canterbury, Kent where he attended the Archbishop of Canterbury School.
His father is Egyptian and his mother is Scottish.
He holds a Voice and Speech Teaching Diploma from York University, Toronto, Canada.
He trains business students from the prestigious Schulich School of Business, Toronto, in Public Speaking and also coaches young children from the CCOC, the Canadian Children's Opera Company, in Acting and general Stagecraft.
He runs the largest recreational Scuba Diving training facility in Ontario called the Toronto Scuba Club.
He trained the hosts and cast of the OLN Network TV show Descending how to scuba dive and was then asked to Guest Host the premiere of the show in Toronto.
He was asked to train the cast of Cirque-du-Soleil in recreational scuba diving in Toronto during one of their tours in 2006.
He is the Course Director for Public Speaking at York University, Toronto and also the Voice and Speech Teacher for the Acting for Film and Television program at the Humber School for Creative & Performing Arts, Toronto.
