Jamal Dillman-Hasso

Jamal Laith Dillman-Hasso was born in 1993 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA.
He co-composed the score for Peter Fields' The Lords of Praxton in
2006. He is a pianist, trumpeter, and violinist, and was selected for a
master class with Gerardo Tessionere in mid-September 2006.
In 2008, he finished his second score for Breath of Courage, his last film under Peter Fields for the time being. He is directing a short documentary on Edward R. Murrow, and scoring that as well.
Dillman-Hasso is also an advocate for the Palestinian cause, and wishes to direct one or more films about the ongoing conflict in the region during his career.
In later life, he wishes to work at the Edward Said Music Conservatory in Jerusalem. He divides his time between Dearborn, Michigan, and his home in Shaker Heights, Ohio.
