“Condor,” which originally aired on AT&T’s Audience Network, will move to Epix for its second season.
The thriller series is based on the novel “Six Days of the Condor.” The first season will air on Epix in March, with Season 2 coming later in 2021.
In January, WarnerMedia shuttered AT&T Audience Network, which was home to series including “Loudermilk” and “Mr. Mercedes,” and instead turned it into a promotional network for HBO Max. Peacock picked up the first two seasons of “Mr. Mercedes” earlier this year, but has no plans to continue the the Stephen King-inspired series.
WarnerMedia made a similar move with Cinemax and turned that into a movie-centric network.

At&T Audience Network’s thriller series Condor, adapted from the Oscar-nominated film Three Days of the Condor and the screenplay Three Days of the Condor by Lorenzo Semple Jr. and David Rayfiel, stars Max Irons as Joe Turner, a young CIA analyst who unwittingly becomes the center of a major conspiracy. Today’s Deadline’s The Contenders Emmys Condor panel offered an unusual perspective on the show by assembling the actresses who play the very important women surrounding Joe in this complex and compelling story.
The panel, moderated by Peter White, included Mira Sorvino, Christina Moses, Kristen Hager and Katherine Cunningham. The series also stars William Hurt, Leem Lubany, Angel Bonanni and Bob Balaban. Brendan Fraser guest stars in the series created by Jason Smilovic and Todd Katzberg.
As has been the case with many of today’s series panels, the women had a difficult time speaking about their characters without revealing their fate.

At&T Audience Network has renewed two of its hit series, poly-romcom You Me Her for a fourth and fifth seasons and conspiracy thriller Condor for a second season.
You Me Her, from Entertainment One, and created by executive producer and showrunner John Scott Shepherd, stars Greg Poehler, Rachel Blanchard and Priscilla Faia in a romantic comedy with a little something extra: a third person.
At the end of last season, the “throuple” pulled together their happy ending – a surprise poly commitment ceremony in a pizza joint. Now, they’re settling back into the ‘burbs to live a tweaked version of the conventional “married with children” life. Are “the accidental polyamorists” trying to jam a triangular peg into a round-hole world? Will they break the neighborhood, their peculiar romance, or both?
Alta Loma Entertainment’s Peter Jaysen and Alan Gasmer executive produce.

A movie based on a book. A TV show based on the movie. “Six Days of the Condor” to “Three Days of the Condor” to just this: “Condor,” the new Audience Network spy series that’s lost five days while expanding to 10 hours. Amid all these changes, something has to go wrong, right?
It’s not just that Sydney Pollack’s 1975 classic feels untouchable (and relatively timeless, despite the fact that part of Robert Redford’s job is reading newspapers); it’s that the series directly lifting from the film comes from a somewhat unproven pedigree and will play on a network only accessible to satellite subscribers.
Well, after the first two episodes, the latter point isn’t a warning so much as a shame. Jason Smilovic (“Lucky Number Slevin”) and Todd Katzberg’s “Condor” isn’t a “drop everything and subscribe to DirecTV” kind of show, but it is...

The 1975 political thriller Three Days of the Condor is in the midst of getting a small screen remake.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, Skydance Productions, which is owned by David Ellison, is currently shopping around a TV series remake of the Sydney Pollack classic, written by Jason Smilovic and Todd Katzberg. Smilovic is no stranger to television thrillers, having been the creator of two short-lived series in the genre, Kidnapped and My Own Worst Enemy. This show will mark Katzberg’s first foray into writing.
Ellison is no stranger to remakes either. The brother of Annapurna Pictures’ Megan Ellison, David’s Skydance Productions has been involved in numerous big budget remakes over the years, from Mission: Impossible—Ghost Protocol and Star Trek Into Darkness, to the forthcoming Terminator: Genisys. Skydance Productions’ David Ellison is uniting with MGM and Paramount TV for a small screen remake of Three Days Of The Condor. The show’s format is uncertain at this stage, though, as the options for a miniseries or full-length serial are both still on the table while Ellison and co. shop it to networks.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, there’s no sniff of a director – yet. On the wordsmith front, Jason Smilovic (Arms & The Dudes, Lucky Number Slevin) and Todd Katzberg (Kidnapped) are currently putting in the hard graft on the show’s scripts, that may or may not be based on the original’s source material.

If you win an Academy Award for playing a role with multiple personalities, do they award each one of them? If so, that would make up for the snubs so far in Leonardo DiCaprio’s career.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the star of The Wolf of Wall Street and Inception is set to take on 24 personalities in his next film, The Crowded Room. The film comes from writers Jason Smilovic and Todd Katzberg.
DiCaprio will play Billy Milligan, who was the first person to successfully use multiple personality disorder as a defense in a court of law. THR adds that the actor has been eyeing the role since 1997 with the project moving forward as a whole finally with New Regency.
Published in 1981, Daniel Keyes’ book chronicles Milligan’s story, including his court trial in the late 1970s in Ohio after being charged with robbery and raping three women on the Ohio State University campus.

Lifelong Oscar bridesmaid Leonardo DiCaprio is moving ahead with The Crowded Room, an extremely buzzy biopic in which he’ll play Billy Milligan, the first person to successfully use multiple personality disorder as a legal defense.
Milligan, who died in December of 2014, was charged with robbery and raping three women on the Ohio State University campus in the 1970s. While preparing his defense, Milligan was diagnosed with multiple personality disorder. He and his lawyers pleaded insanity, contending that two of Milligan’s alleged 24 personalites committed the crimes without his knowledge. He was the first to use this defense and be acquitted because of it.
Some of the man’s personalities included Adalana, a lesbian who admitted to the rapes; Ragen, a Yugoslavian communist who admitted to the robberies; and Arthur, a high-strung but proper Englishman. Perhaps the most fascinating part of Milligan’s story is that Hollywood has not yet...

A long-gestating flick about the first person to successfully use the insanity defense at a U.S. trial is finally getting off the ground, with a major star attached.
The Hollywood Reporter writes that Leonardo DiCaprio is set to star in "The Crowded Room," the story of Billy Milligan, who was charged with robbery and rape in the 1970s. Milligan was subsequently diagnosed with multiple personality disorder, and pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, claiming that two of his 24 personalities committed the crimes without his knowledge.
Per THR, "Milligan's various personalities included Adalana, a lesbian taking responsibility for the rapes; Ragen, a Yugoslavian communist who admitted to the robbery; and Arthur, an uptight Englishman." He was the first person to use -- and be acquitted for -- this defense.

Leonardo DiCaprio has long been interested in playing the role of Billy Milligan, the first person to successfully use multiple personality disorder as a defense in the courtroom, in The Crowded Room. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project has been dormant for nearly a decade, but now has renewed life as Jason Smilovic and Todd Katzberg have been hired to adapt the script from Daniel Keyes's nonfiction book about Milligan and his court trial where he was charged with robbery and raping three women at Ohio State University. Milligan's various personalities included Adalana, a lesbian who took responsibility for the rapes, and Ragen, a Yugoslavian communist who admitted to the robbery. DiCaprio is going to be doing a lot of Acting.
