Born and raised in Padova (Italy), Paolo earned a BA in Communications from the University of Bologna.
After graduating, he soon earned a spot as a comedy writer for the legendary award-winning Italian TV show "Zelig".
A Fulbright scholar, Paolo moved to the United States where he graduated with a Masters in Film Production from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. His short films "Santiago" and "Have you ever heard about Vukovar?", have played and won awards at numerous festivals around the world (Tribeca, Telluride, Aspen, Tokyo, Trieste, and many more).
Since then, Paolo has directed, produced and written several docs, commercials and TV shows for clients in America and in Europe, such as Rai, Sky, Mediaset, Discovery, Lexus, Gucci Group, Google, MTV, Ringo Starr, Capitol Records, Tuborg and many more.
He is a graduate of the Torino Film Lab's AdaptLab program and the IDM-Racconti program for writers.
Paolo teaches cinema workshops at Officine-IED in Milan and Scuola Holden in Turin (Italy).
He lives in Rome.
