Bill Ray Cyrus is encouraging his daughter Miley Cyrus to not be down
It's a classic father-daughter pick-me-up conversation. In a new Instagram, Miley Cyrus is sharing the words of advice she got from her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus. She took a screenshot of the phone conversation, and her dad's message says this.
Billy Ray encourages Miley to not be a bitter old man like himself so she captions the message saying, "I love my dad @billyraycyrus. I think that's why I love @waynecoyne5 he has so many of the same philosophy's as my dada who is the most magical hillbilly wizard of all time."
Miley is comparing the similar "philosophies" of her good friend Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne to her dad's.
Billy Ray may be the most "magical hillbilly wizard of all time" to his daughter, but in his eyes, she's "still his little girl."

Los Angeles, Aug 12: Singer Miley Cyrus reportedly wants to amend her relationship with her father, Bill Ray and has asked him to seek professional assistance.
Miley was shocked when Bill separated with her mother Tish this year. Even though the couple has reconciled, the singer is still trying to get rid of the grudges, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"Just because her mom has taken him back doesn't mean that all is cool with Miley. It was her idea to enter counselling and Billy agreed," Star magazine quoted a source as saying.
"Miley has always been daddy's little girl and she wants to be able to love him like that again,".

So sad. After 19 years of marriage, Miley’s parents have officially called it quits.

Tish is also requesting for spousal support, and for Bill Ray to pay her attorney’s fees. She listed the date of the couple’s separation as Tbd.

Before we crack open the recapping on a new season of Spartacus: War of the Damned, permit me just a brief moment to pause, reflect, and remember the fallen hottie who has been lost to us. Yes, I eulogize you, Gaius Hottius Glaber, sexiest stud in all of Capua. Woe betide those, like me, who will not have your magnificent buns of steel to obsess over during this new season of mayhem, evisceration, decapitation, de-limbing, de-legging, de-kidneying, and manly bonding. And please, my fellow mourners, let our sadness only be salved by the fact that there are those amongst who have taken glorious screencaps of beautiful Gaius’ most electrifying on-screen moments, so that we may relive them over and over (and over and over and over.) Let us be thankful that, on the internet, the past truly never dies (does it, Manti Te’o?). Amen, praise to Jupiter, Isis, and whoever.

Any big news on a 24 movie screeched to a halt at the very beginning of this year, when the show’s executive producer, Howard Gordon, revealed that Bill Ray‘s script had been turned down by Fox. Many agreed that the prospect of a feature film centered on more of Jack Bauer‘s exploits seemed less likely with this development. This either bothered you or it didn’t; a TV-to-film project doesn’t exactly leave a lot of middle ground for people.
There is hope for the series’ fans, however, and it comes from Kiefer Sutherland. When talking to The Telegraph (via CinemaBlend), he had this to say about the movie’s chances:
“We are coming very close to having a finished script. That’s been the most difficult thing. You have to remember that we have 24 hours to explain the stories in 24 and so trying to condense that into...

Precisely a week ago news emerged that Paul Greengrass was eyeing a couple of projects that could be his next movie and it seemed the further along the production line was Maersk Alabama, Sony’s adaptation of Captain Richard Phillips’ story of when his ship was held hostage by Somali Pirates in 2009.
The film had caught the eye of A-lister Tom Hanks back in March who would star as Phillips and it’s no surprise to hear from Deadline that Greengrass will soon enter talks to direct having been offered the job and things should be plain sailing from here.
Maersk Alabama is an adaptation of Phillips’ memoirs “A Captain’s Story: Somali Pirates, Navy SEALs, and Dangerous Days at Sea”, and has been scripted by writer Bill Ray (State of Play, Breach). The lord truly has not smiled on Paul Greengrass over the last two years but where his Iraqi passion project Green Zone flopped, his falling out with Universal over the Bourne franchise led to his unceremonious exit from that series and the family estates of both Jimi Hendrix and Martin Luther King Jr respectively blocking significant biopics of both American icons – finally some light is at the end of the tunnel today for the accomplished helmer.
Vulture say Greengrass has entered talks to direct the Captain Richard Phillips/Somali Pirates hostage film that Tom Hanks attached himself to lead a few months back. Setup at Sony, the film would be an adaptation of Phillips’ memoirs “A Captain’s Story: Somali Pirates, Navy SEALs, and Dangerous Days at Sea”, and has been scripted by writer Bill Ray (State of Play, Breach).

Miley looks happy, healthy and seems to have rekindled with ex Liam Hemsworth! She’s turned over a new leaf and seems better than ever!
It seems like Miley Cyrus may have gotten her brief stint as a wild child out of her system, as the actress and singer has appeared happier, healthier and more put together than ever of recent. Likely playing a large role in this new, or rather old, version of Miley — getting back with ex-Liam Hemsworth!
Miley’s rekindled romance seems to perfectly mirror the decision of her parents, Tish and Bill Ray Cyrus, to also give their marriage a second chance after separating in late 2010. In fact, the entire happy family was spotted grabbing coffee together on March 27 in Los Angeles!

Tom Hanks is currently filming Extremely Loud and Incredible Close for director Stephen Daldry and the veteran actor already has a few further movies mapped out as his next projects… one being Kathryn Bigelow’s drug trade drama Triple Frontier that will film this year and also a family adventure movie based on Disney’s Jungle Cruise ride which he will star in alongside Toy Story actor Tim Allen, probably next year.
And now we’ve got another project to add to his schedule.

Fairy Tales and other literary classics are the new comic books as far as Hollywood is concerned, especially as no one has to fork out cash for the rights.
Climbing on to that already-overloaded bandwagon is a project called Peter Pan Begins, now being offered to all the studios by actor Channing Tatum (pictured above with Amanda Seyfried in romantic drama Dear John) along with screenwriter Bill Ray and producer Joe Roth.
It's familiar territory for Roth, who was involved in last year's Alice in Wonderland and the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman and is in the casting stages of Oz, The Great and Powerful.
HeatVision says details of the project are scarce and doesn't clarify Tatum's involvement, despite others presuming he will star in the title role (odd though it is to imagine him as Peter Pan).

HollywoodNews.com: It’s starting to sound like Disney and the Cyrus family are not exactly on good terms since Miley Cyrus’ show, ‘Hannah Montana,’ just recently ended.
Miley has seemed to make it clear that she wanted to transition and Disney apparently doesn’t think she will necessarily have a future without them, states The Hollywood Reporter. Her next two films are not with Disney.
The company has known that she wanted to mature, but reportedly thinks it is backfiring so far.
Also, it is reported that Disney cannot believe that Bill Ray Cyrus claimed he never made money off his daughter’s career.
