Amy Poehler's role as Leslie Knope on Parks and Recreation will soon come to an end, but Poehler's online video channel is picking up steam. Smart Girls At The Party, which Poehler launched in 2008 alongside her friends Meredith Walker and Amy Miles, has been acquired by Legendary Entertainment. First launched in 2008, Smart Girls At The Party is a channel with a girl power vibe; in addition to interviews with women like Lindsey Stirling and Broad City stars Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, it also included a popular "Ask Amy" segment where Poehler dished out her thoughts on various subjects. Despite Poehler's star power, her series has struggled to find a consistent home. It initially launched through the now-defunct On Networks. In 2012, it became a part of YouTube's Original Channels Initiative, which also ended up going dormant in November 2013. Smart Girls At The Party has been quiet since then, with...

Jennifer Lynch directs another impressive episode of Teen Wolf this week. Here's Ron's review of Perishable...
This review contains spoilers.
4.9 Perishable
With a show like Teen Wolf, you can never be sure who is dead and who isn't dead. Gerard took werewolf claws to the belly, crawled off, and somehow reappeared for a few episodes in season 3A when Allison needed a spiritual adviser. Kate Argent died and returned as a were-jaguar. Scott, Stiles, and Allison all returned from the dead once upon a time, though Allison returned to re-death in season 3B. Is it all that surprising that Parrish gets burned alive by Lou Ferrigno Jr.'s Deputy Haigh in the opening moments of Perishable before returning, covered in ashes but otherwise unharmed? Not so much.
However, what was surprising was the return of Meredith Walker, everyone's favorite creepy Banshee, as a crucial character in the Teen Wolf universe.

Hey Liberal Dead fans, it’s Ryne from The Moon is a Dead World. This week we’re adding The Lottery to our continual rotation of Sunday night horror shows. Extant and True Blood are being covered by Shawn, and Kevin Lovell is picking up The Strain, Teen Wolf, and Under the Dome. I’ve got the rest!
The Last Ship: “El Toro” - Sunday, July 20 at 9 Pm
Well, I thought The Last Ship had lost its extreme right-wing stance after last week’s episode, but thankfully “El Toro” gets things rolling with a storyline about a stereotypical Hispanic tyrant who takes over an island with his goons and then forces the people living there into slavery in exchange for protection.
You might ask why the crew of this last ship are in the jungles of Nicaragua; I’d remind you that this is The Last Ship, and anything is possible.
