Could another Supernatural reunion be coming to Prime Video‘s hit series The Boys? According to former star Jared Padalecki, the future for such a possibility seems bright. The actor expressed interest in a potential cameo on the superhero dramedy helmed by Supernatural‘s Eric Kripke. In an interview with Collider, Padalecki said of Kripke, “Yeah, he has reached out to me.” Sergei Bachlakov/Warner Bros./Everett Collection As viewers of The Boys already know, Kripke hasn’t been afraid to cast stars from Supernatural. Padalecki’s onscreen brother Jensen Ackles joined the mix as Soldier Boy in Season 3. Meanwhile, Alexander Calvert made an appearance in spinoff Gen V, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan is slated to play a prominent role in Season 4. While Padalecki is open to the idea of joining the universe, he’s hesitant for now, as he told Collider, “My response to him 90 percent of the time is,...

The cast of Gen V has issued a joint statement in remembrance of their co-star Chance Perdomo, who died Saturday in a motorcycle accident at the age of 27.
“Our hearts are with Chance’s loved ones as we grieve this shocking loss. We will remember the special moments we had together, his infectious smile that could light up any room, his warm hugs and the authenticity he carried with him always,” they wrote. “Rest in peace dear friend, you will be deeply missed. This article contains spoilers for Gen V season 1.
The first season of The Boys spinoff Gen V is coming to a close this week, and it seems like we’re in for a wild ride as the young supes of God U struggle to decide how to move forward after discovering the true nature of The Woods and its experiments.
With Dean Shetty (Shelley Conn) now dead at Cate’s (Maddie Phillips) behest, the threat of the virus seems to be quelled for now, but that doesn’t mean that Cate’s thirst for vengeance has. In the season finale preview, Cate and Sam (Asa Germann) band together to release the people being held in The Woods and seek justice for the atrocities committed against the young supes of God U. Their friends, however, don’t seem too thrilled by the gleam of violence in their eyes as the campus descends into chaos.

This article contains spoilers for Gen V episode 7.
Heads rolled (well popped) in the latest episode of Gen V, as Prime Videos’s The Boys spinoff delivered an action-packed penultimate episode that tied neatly into its bigger brother. The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke has already confirmed (via EW) that the Gen V finale will include a “handoff” to The Boys season 4, and with some significant cameos during “Sick”, things are starting to come together.
The Gen V trailer teased the return of Claudia Doumit’s Victoria Neuman, with the head-popping politician stopping by Godolkin University to put one of her sinister schemes into play. Having thrown Stan Edgar (Giancarlo Esposito) under the bus in The Boys season 3, she’s now on the way to the White House as a vice presidential candidate. Although we were on the money that Neuman was the mysterious benefactor of Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair), that...

This article contains spoilers for Gen V through episode 5.
And just like that, we’re in the homestretch of The Boys‘ first spinoff Gen V. With only eight episodes in total, the upcoming episode six makes the beginning of the end for this story about the young supes at Godolkin University.
In true Boys fashion, things have been quite violent so far with the self-immolation of Golden Boy (Patrick Schwarzenegger) kicking off a mystery for our heroes Marie (Jaz Sinclair), Emma (Lizze Broadway), Cate (Maddie Phillips), Andre (Chance Perdomo), and Sam (Asa Germann) to solve. If that weren’t harrowing enough, episode 5 revealed the culprit of the gang’s memory issues and even set up the surprise return of a beloved Boys character in the form of Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy.
Here’s everything you need to know before diving into episode 6 of Gen V.

This post contains spoilers for "Gen V."
The college-age characters on "Gen V" have some powers that are pretty unique from those we've seen on its parent show, "The Boys." The most mysterious powers, however, belong to Marie (Jaz Sinclair). Sure, we've seen blood-bending in various forms before in other media, but the full extent of Marie's capabilities has yet to be seen. Each episode sees her revealing more elements of her abilities, because an attunement to blood is going to be really powerful. A whole lot of living things are chock-full of the stuff, including humans, which makes her a serious possible threat. Many other supes have some kind of restrictions to their abilities but the only thing that could really short out Marie seems to be losing too much of her own blood, which hasn't come close to happening yet.
In episodes 4 and 5 of "Gen V," Marie's blood...

Spoiler Alert: This article contains spoilers for Episode 5 of “Gen V,” titled “Welcome to the Monster Club,” now streaming on Prime Video.
Even superheroes can party a little too hard.
The heroes of “Gen V” wake up wondering what the hell happened last night in this latest episode, but what seems like some alcohol-induced memory loss turns out to be diabolical mind wiping. The culprit comes from within our core group of heroes, when it’s revealed that Cate (Maddie Phillips) was erasing people’s memories on Dean Shetty’s (Shelley Conn) command.
Last week’s episode ended abruptly, just as Marie (Jaz Sinclair), Emma (Lizze Broadway), Jordan (London Thor and Derek Luh), Andre (Chance Perdomo) and Cate were close to getting answers on the mysterious supe program called The Woods. But suddenly, the screen cut to black and the heroes found themselves waking up at a wild house party,...

The creators of Prime Video’s Gen V are explaining that “c-cksplosion” and how they approached constructing a giant penis for the superhero sex scene.
In Episode 4 of the The Boys spinoff show, Marie (Jaz Sinclair) blacks out, and when she wakes up, Rufus (Alexander Calvert) is clearly about to assault her.
To protect herself, she uses her powers to swell Rufus’ penis, and, well, it ultimately explodes.
There’s also a sex scene in the first episode where Emma (Lizzie Broadway) shrinks and climbs on the comparatively enormous penis of Liam (Robert Bazzocchi).
Executive producers Eric Kripke and Michele Fazekas shared all the insider information during an interview with Variety.
Keep reading to find out more…
Michele explained, “We never came into this saying, ‘We want to top The Boys. That scene, yes, is about a c-cksplosion, but it came from a lot of women in my writers’ room...

Spoiler Alert: This article contains minor spoilers for Episode 4 of “Gen V,” now streaming on Prime Video.
It wouldn’t be “The Boys” universe without an exploding penis, right?
In its first four episodes, Prime Video’s spinoff “Gen V” managed to outdo “The Boys” in the sheer number of on-screen penises shown — and also ushered in the first-ever “cocksplosion” seen on TV. Naturally, we had to speak with executive producers Eric Kripke and Michele Fazekas about it.
In Episode 4, Marie (Jaz Sinclair) is looking for Emma (Lizze Broadway), her missing roommate who shrank down super small to investigate the mysterious Woods supe program. To get answers on her whereabouts, Marie turns to a classmate named Rufus (Alexander Calvert), a creepy psychic who offers to find Emma — but suggests Marie pays for his services sexually. Marie considers ditching Rufus, but he relents and gives her some info on Emma.

Spoilers for "Gen V" follow.
As we've learned through three seasons of "The Boys," if you live in a universe filled with superheroes you should never, ever, have sex with them. They'll accidentally crush your skull during cunnilingus, or worse. It's not that they're bad people exactly; it's that they're not always as in control of their powers as you'd think. And if they spend most of their time among other Supes who can handle the occasional sex-related mishap, they can often forget how fragile a regular human body is.
But even when it comes to Supe-on-Supe sexual relationships, the power imbalance still causes plenty of trouble. When Homelander engaged in a sexual relationship with Doppelganger, a shapeshifter who could transform into his former lover Madeleine Stillwell at will, all it took was one wrong move for Homelander to end up snapping Doppelganger's neck. Even when the Supe isn't accidentally harming you,...

“The Whole Truth,” the fourth episode of Gen V, features a dick joke in its first act, a dick joke in its third act, and wedged in-between is a dick exploding like a bloody piñata. Ladies and gentlemen, The Aristocrats …. I mean, The Boys!
The Boys universe has always operated under the ironclad comedic principle of “pee-pees are funny” and Gen V seems to be continuing that tradition. And honestly, it’s hard to argue they’re wrong for doing so. Pee-pees are indeed funny! We’ve seen this borne out in the season 3 opener of the flagship series which saw shrinking supe Termite entering an actual human penis and inadvertently blowing it up (along with the body it belongs to) by a sneeze-triggered rapid growth. Just last week on Gen V we saw another shrinking supe Emma (Lizze Broadway) engage with...

It’s completely understandable if you’re having trouble remembering what happened in the first three episodes of Gen V, the teen-set spin-off of superhero satire The Boys. After watching Emma aka Little Cricket (Lizzie Broadway) using her powers to appease a partner’s fantasies, everything else kind of falls away.
But like its parent series, Gen V has a lot more going on than just shocking sex and violence. By focusing on the next generation of Supes, the teens who received powers after being injected with Compound V as children, Gen V adds a layer of soapy drama to the social satire and superhero action.
When Does Gen V Episode 4 Premiere?

Gen V definitely has one of the best origin stories for a leading character in any movie or TV series. Spin-off to the hit anti-superhero series The Boys, Gen V is set in Vought’s Godolkin University aka “God U” and it follows the story of a group of young supes trying to learn how to be real heroes. But it is set in The Boys universe, so it couldn’t just be that as we see our heroes getting tangled in a conspiracy that might be too big for them to handle on their own.
Created by Eric Kripke, Evan Goldberg, and Craig Rosenberg and show run by Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, Gen V has all the qualities The Boys fans were hoping for and a bit more. The spin-off series comfortably builds on The Boy’s themes with its own weird and fresh spin. The...

Since Vought International is probably behind the supes school at the center of The Boys spinoff Gen V, it should come as no surprise that sinister things are happening behind the scenes of the institution in a newly released trailer for the series.

Who's ready to see "The Boys" head to college? Amazon Prime Video's spin-off of the graphic superhero series is finally arriving this fall, and we finally have a first look at it. On Dec. 3, 2022, the streamer premiered a teaser trailer for the show, titled "Gen V," at the Brazilian Comic Con Experience, and the new series looks every bit as diabolical as the original. While the voiceover promises the students of Godolkin University that the campus will offer them a "safe space to thrive," it appears matriculating at this college is dangerous business.
On July 24, the streamer released another teaser trailer showing Marie Moreau, played by Jaz Sinclair, as a blood-bender who apparently has a "target on her back." We also catch glimpses of Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Clancy Brown.

A first-look teaser at “The Boys” spinoff series “Gen V” promised a bloody good time late last year but with no word on when to expect it. Now, thanks to producer Eric Kripke, we can expect school to begin this Fall.
Kripke amusingly tweeted, “And So It Begins. #GenV coming Fall 2023. Website link below..”
The website Kripke refers to is for “Godolkin University,” a work-in-progress official site for the fictional Vought facility training emerging young superheroes. The site also reinforces Kripke’s announcement to expect the spinoff series this Fall. You can head over to Godolkin University for a brief tour now.
Based on the first look trailer and Kripke’s promises of “dicks & vaginas,” it’s safe to assume that “Gen V” will get just as viciously violent and funny as its parent series.

If you were at all thinking that Gen V, the college-set spin-off from Prime Video's wild superhero satire and comic book adaptation The Boys would somehow be toned down… Here is the first look to disabuse you of that notion. It's full of blood, guts and… puppets?
Yes, as well as revealing that Clancy Brown, Jason Ritter and Alexander Calvert are all part of the show, the teaser gives a real taste of the show and based on this, we'd say that's primarily iron with all the blood spraying.
Gen V explores the lives of hormonal Supes who are competing for the top ranking at America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes, run by Vought International, a big player in the main series.

College halls, bloodied walls and disembodied entrails are promised in Prime Video’s upcoming “Gen V,” the university-set spinoff to “The Boys,” which just got its first-look teaser. Neil Gaiman is on a roll these days, with his characters appearing in "Doom Patrol" on HBO Max and the Netflix adaptation of "The Sandman" both garnering audience and critical acclaim. News regarding the upcoming "Doom Patrol" spin-off "Dead Boy Detectives" just keeps on rolling, and it's high time that we finally put on our research caps to wrangle as much information as possible regarding the new series based on the comics of the same name from DC, as well as "The Sandman" universe.
Created by Gaiman and Matt Wagner, the titular Dead Boy Detectives first appeared in live-action during season 3 of "Doom Patrol," but now these supernatural sleuths are ready to take the reigns on their own story. We're still a ways away from actually getting to see "Dead Boy Detectives" on the small screen, but here's everything we know so far.

Last November, it was announced that Alexander Calvert (Supernatural) would be playing Thomas the Cat King in the pilot for the HBO Max series based on Dead Boy Detectives, characters Neil Gaiman created for DC Comics in the pages of The Sandman issue #25. Back in April, HBO Max ordered eight episodes of the series. But today, Variety has broken the news that we won’t be seeing Calvert as Thomas the Cat King when the series reaches the streaming service. Calvert has been replaced by Lukas Gage, whose previous credits include Euphoria, The White Lotus, Into the Dark: Midnight Kiss, and Love, Victor.
Thomas the Cat King will be a series regular on Dead Boy Detectives. The character has the following description: “When Thomas doesn’t hold the appearance of a handsome man full of entitlement or holding court with his subjects he can be seen strutting around town as an attractive Siamese cat.

Lukas Gage has joined the cast of the “Dead Boy Detectives” series at HBO Max, Variety has learned.
The eight-episode series was ordered at HBO Max back in April. It is based on the DC comics of the same name as well as “The Sandman,” from characters created by Neil Gaiman and Matt Wagner.
The official series description states, “It’s a fresh take on a ghost story that explores loss, grief, and death through the lens of Edwin Payne (George Rexstrew) and Charles Rowland (Jayden Revri), two dead British teenagers, and their very alive friend, Crystal Palace (Kassius Nelson). So, it’s a lot like a vintage detective series — only darker and on acid.”
Gage will play the recurring role of the Cat King, described as a charming trickster and itinerant cat spirit, who takes keen interest in Edwin.” Gage takes over the role from Alexander Calvert.

It goes without saying that Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) are the heart of "Supernatural." Throughout its 15-season run, the monster-slaying brothers were the face of the CW series: its story begins and ends with them, saving people, hunting things and living up to their family legacy. But its also true that they couldn't have saved the world from multiple apocalypses without a little help from their friends.
As the seasons progressed, what began as a story about two brothers searching for their father became a beautiful example of the power of found family. It's hard to remember a time before Castiel (Misha Collins) was a core part of their team and, while he's only introduced in the last couple of seasons, Jack Kline (Alexander Calvert) later becomes a crucial addition to their family.

The “Dead Boy Detectives” pilot at HBO Max has found its main cast, Variety has learned exclusively from sources.
George Rexstrew, Jayden Revri (“The Lodge”), and Kassius Nelson will star in the three lead roles. Rexstrew is a recent graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and “Dead Boy Detectives” would mark his onscreen debut.
Based on the DC Comics characters created by Neil Gaiman, the one-hour series would follow the Dead Boy Detectives — Charles Rowland (Revri) and Edwin Paine (Rexstrew) — who decided not to enter the afterlife in order to stay on earth and investigate crimes involving the supernatural. Spoiler Alert: This recap contains details about tonight’s series finale of The CW’s Supernatural, “Carry On.”
On Thursday night, The CW’s longest-running series, Supernatural, completed its 15-year run in dramatic fashion. In “Carry On”—directed by Robert Singer, from a script by Andrew Dabb—the beloved monster hunter Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) meets an untimely end, with brother Sam (Jared Padalecki) in the room.
Episode 1520 opens on an average, relaxed morning for the pair, in which they go about their routine, eating breakfast, doing chores and wiping down their guns. While waiting for any word of supernatural activity, the brothers are met with none, deciding to use their down time to attend an event called Pie Fest. Dean, for one, feels he was fated to attend this gathering. Sam, on the other hand, is caught up in his head, mourning his two lost friends, Castiel (Misha Collins...

Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not yet watched “Carry On,” the series finale of “Supernatural.”
For 15 seasons the Winchester brothers of the CW’s “Supernatural” put the rest of humanity’s needs ahead of their own, so it is only fitting that in their final episode they were still doing that same thing and ended up getting the “heaven [they] deserve.”
The series finale, “Carry On,” started as a throwback episode to the monster-of-the-week format of the drama’s earliest days, full of callbacks and references to what made audiences fall in love with the show — and the boys — in the first place. And for once, dead on “Supernatural” really, truly meant dead.

(Warning: Major spoilers ahead for the series finale of “Supernatural.”)
After 15 seasons, “Supernatural” came to an end Thursday with a series finale called “Carry On” and that’s what fans are going to have to do now that the Jensen Ackles- and Jared Padalecki-led CW series is over. And if you are one of the viewers who hasn’t gotten around to watching just yet, but would like to know how it all ends, TheWrap is here to help.
The short answer is Dean (Ackles) dies and Sam (Padalecki) lives out the rest of his life without his big brother, before the two are reunited in the shows final moments in heaven. But there is a little more to the final hour of the long-running CW series than that.
See, the episode started like many that came before it: Sam and Dean got a case, they started to solve it,...
