Dominic Burgess is opening up about the sex scene that he shot with Kim Kardashian for American Horror Story: Delicate.
The 41-year-old actor plays up-and-coming director Hamish Moss in the horror anthology. His character hires Kim’s Siobhan Corbyn, who uses her demonic skills to help his career flourish.
While working together, they spend an afternoon filming a scene in the bedroom. What was that like?

Speaking to Variety, Dominic revealed that he was not familiar with Kim before they worked together, but he was impressed by how warm and dedicated she was.
“She worked so hard. Someone in her position could just go to their trailer and just come out when needed, but she was so present. She was asking questions, sharing ideas and being really open and engaging,” he said, adding that she was “really friendly.”

If you’ve been anywhere near a television in the last couple of years, odds are you’re already familiar with Dominic Burgess. The British actor broke through in 2017’s “Feud: Bette and Joan” as actor Victor Buono, before popping up in a number of memorable appearances — playing everything from serial killer John Wayne Gacy in “Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” to an accident-prone man on “The Good Place” whose hideous red boots create an existential crisis for Chidi.
Most recently, the actor has been stealing scenes as Grayman, the stylist to the grande dames (including Kristen Wiig and Allison Janney) on Apple TV’s “Palm Royale” — and as Hamish Moss, a director on the rise on “American Horror Story: Delicate.” That is, he was on the rise before the April 3 episode, in which Moss met a gruesome death at the hands of Kim Kardashian’s devilish publicist.

Do not underestimate Tate Taylor’s commitment to “Palm Royale.”
The director and executive producer of Apple TV’s star-studded period dramedy — about Kristin Wiig’s have-not fighting to break into the ranks of Palm Beach society — took his job as director of the first episode so seriously he was asked to leave. Not the show; Taylor was kicked out of an actual Palm Beach club.
Taylor and production designer Jon Carlos went on a 42-hour trip to Palm Beach to get a feel for the town. “The club that the Palm Royale [the fictional club that gives the series its name] is modeled after is very exclusive,” Taylor told IndieWire. “And so I said, ‘I’m going to break in. And I want to get kicked out.’ And I did! I went through the doors, I looked at all the people — of course, I was in board shorts and flip flops — and I got kicked out.”

Anna’s lot in life takes an optimistic turn when it comes to fame and family as a sinister force asserts control and ‘AHS: Delicate’ teases its grander plans.
“Is it a boy, Mary?”
“It is a monster.”
Pregnancy horror stories can go down many different directions, whether they’re tales where disturbed individuals attempt to steal a healthy infant, evil offspring scenarios, or any variety of films where a dark pact is made with the Devil or some kind of malevolent magic. American Horror Story: Delicate has kept its audience guessing when it comes to its newborn neuroses, but “Vanishing Twin” pulls back the veil a little when it comes to the dark fate that’s befallen Anna. Answers are appreciated when it comes to any of this seasons’ broader mysteries, but AHS: Delicate’s fable-like explanation feels strangely out of place. Once again, viewers don't have to worry that American Horror Story will be cancelled right now since it's already been renewed for a 13th season. Last season's traditional ratings dropped by nearly 60%, and while those numbers don't include delayed and streaming views, it seems safe to say that the show's popularity has waned. Will it be renewed beyond season 13? Stay tuned.

Since Season 1, “American Horror Story” has developed a reputation for making viewers say “What did I just watch?” And “Delicate,” the 12th season in FX’s horror anthology series, delivered on that promise for the start.
Not only is “Delicate” the first season not to be showrun by Ryan Murphy; it’s also the first season to be based off a book. Adapted from Danielle Valentine’s recent novel “Delicate Condition” and showrun by playwright Halley Feiffer (“I’m Gonna Pray for You So Hard”), Season 12 follows Anna Victoria Alcott (Emma Roberts), an up-and-coming movie star who wants nothing more than to be a mother. But the further she goes down the path of motherhood, the more she suspects everyone around her is conspiring against her and her future child.

Kim Kardashian is embracing developing her acting chops in the newest season of Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story.”
“Anytime you try something, you just have to have the intention of growing and challenging yourself,” the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star said in a behind-the-scenes teaser for the upcoming FX series’ latest season, subtitled “Delicate.” “Then you just kinda release and have fun.”
“American Horror Story: Delicate,” which premieres Wednesday, centers on actress Anna Victoria Alcott (Emma Roberts) who struggles with multiple failed attempts of IVF to achieve her dream of starting a family. “As the buzz around her recent film grows, she fears that something may be targeting her — and her pursuit of motherhood,” according to the official logline.

The first trailer for “American Horror Story: Delicate” has arrived, and Kim Kardashian is demanding to know which is more important: an Oscar or a baby?

Though “American Horror Story” Season 12 has already released several unsettling and stylized teasers, this clip is the first look into what this new season is about. Based on Danielle Valentine’s book “Delicate Condition” and showrun by playwright Halley Feiffer (“I’m Gonna Pray for You So Hard”), fans already knew this season would center around a Hollywood star who’s desperate to have a child. But as she gets further and further down the path of motherhood, she starts to believe several people are trying to stop her from having this baby, including her own husband.

A few episodes into “Our Flag Means Death,” aristocrat turned pirate ship captain Stede Bonnet (Rhys Darby) admires his spoils with a frisson of glee. “Why can’t one be a gentleman and a pirate?” he muses aloud to no one in particular, before deciding to embrace that inherent contradiction as his new moniker. And lo, “The Gentleman Pirate” is born, and the logline of “Our Flag Means Death” stated as clearly as can be.

When Dominic Burgess is not stealing scenes as a guest star, he’s getting raves as Jerry Summers in Dr. Death, Ember in The Magicians, and Victor Buono in the Ryan Murphy miniseries Feud. On this episode, he talks about why the vibe on a set is a big factor in his work, his struggles lately gauging what exactly “gay” means as a descriptor in heteronormative projects, why he appreciates when actors don’t let their unsettling methods infect others on the set, and how nearly every golden opportunity he’s had recently can be traced back to something that will forever force […]

Hubris? Improper training? Malicious intent? Ignorance? Negligence? There are a lot of explanations proposed for why the real-life subject of Peacock’s “Dr. Death” limited series, neurosurgeon Dr. Christopher Duntsch (played by Joshua Jackson), maimed and killed so many patients who came in for complex but routine procedures. In the show’s finale, it falls to assistant district attorney Michelle Shughart (AnnaSophia Robb) to convince a jury that it wasn’t primarily Duntsch’s poor training, but his own nature that made him harm these people — just as the real Shughart did when she got Duntsch sentenced to life in prison in 2017 on an elder abuse charge against one of his patients.
But what do the actors who inhabited these roles think of the real Duntsch, who was accused of injuring 33 out of 38 patients in less than...

(Warning: This post, which was originally published July 16, contains spoilers through the finale of “Dr. Death.”)
In Peacock’s limited series “Dr. Death,” the existence and significance of the email Dr. Christopher Duntsch (portrayed by Joshua Jackson) sends to his nurse and lover Kim Morgan (Grace Gummer) the night before he performs an ill-fated spinal surgery on his friend Jerry Summers (Dominic Burgess) is revealed much earlier than the letter’s actual contents.
Due to the twisty nature of the based-on-true-events show’s dual timelines detailing Duntsch’s horrifying missteps as a neurosurgeon and his subsequent trial for the crimes against his patients, viewers get even more teases about how vital the email, which has the subject line “Occam’s Razor,” is going to be for putting Duntsch behind bars before we have enough evidence to understand why.

Joshua Jackson is moving from streaming show to another.
The beloved actor, who most recently starred on Little Fires Everywhere, has landed the lead role in the upcoming Peacock drama series, Dr. Death.
He replaces Jamie Dornan, who was initially set to topline the series.
As is becoming the norm due to Covid-19 actors are having to pull out of projects due to scheduling conflicts, so Dornan's exit is hardly surprising.
Filming was initially set to get underway earlier this year, but because of the shutdowns brought on by the virus, it will now shoot later in the fall.
Additionally, TV Line is reporting that This Is Us star Chris Sullivan, who was set to co-star on the series, has been forced to drop out.
Sullivan's exit is likely due to him filming the series between seasons of This Is Us, which only kicked off production on its fifth season a few weeks ago.

Syfy fantasy series “The Magicians,” about a group of college students who travel through time and worlds to battle wildly imaginative creatures, draws to a close April 1 after five seasons, having taken viewers on a Harry Potter-meets-video-game thrill ride. Knowing that this is the end of the run gives MastersFX founder and president Todd Masters and his team one last chance to showcase the program’s most popular characters — using their own magic to deliver the makeup effects.
Series creators Sera Gamble and John McNamara had specific ideas about what they wanted in the show’s seven so-called questing creatures, which, when discovered, must grant the magician a wish that helps fulfill a quest. For instance, Sir Effingham (played by Sean Maguire) is half man, half pig, and he looks a bit like Benjamin Franklin.

The internet has, since its inception and rapid growth, been used somewhat as a tool for telling horror stories, so much so that cyber-horror is a genre unto itself. In some cases these films take a found-footage approach, telling stories from the perspective of webcams; in others its all about the perils of the internet and the “weirdos” living anonymously behind their keyboards. Then there are those films that take influence from the past, bringing the tropes of “ghosts in the machine” into the present through the medium of the internet. And Deadcon is firmly among the latter.

"Is your room, like, abnormally cold?" Gunpowder & Sky's new label Alter has debuted the first trailer for an indie horror titled Deadcon, starring real-life YouTubers. I cannot believe we're posting this, because they really are scraping the bottom of the horror barrel here, but nevertheless it's still free to watch trailers. The horrors and isolation of being a social media influencer run rampant when a collection of YouTube & Instagram stars soon discover there are things scarier than thousands of teenagers armed with phones asking for selfies. Deadcon is about a haunted hotel full of "vengeful ghosts of some of the original pioneers of social media" (ugh). Starring Lauren Elizabeth & Claudia Sulewski, plus Keith Machekanyanga, Lukas Gage, Dominic Burgess, Aaron Hendry, and Mimi Gianopulos. This looks like they stuffed every last horror trope / cliche into a social media movie knowing they'll get some people to watch it. Smh. Here's the first...

Director Tate Taylor (The Help) was looking to make a movie for Octavia Spencer that would allow her to do something different than anything she’s ever done before. So, they teamed up to develop a new horror thriller called Ma.
The story centers on a lonely middle-aged woman who ends up befriending a group of teenage friends and letting them party in her basement. The relationship she starts to have with these kids becomes an obsession to her and it eventually turns into a terrifying ordeal for these teens as she starts to stalk them and as you’ve seen in the trailers… torture them.
Personally, I think they gave a little too much away in the trailers for the movie, but there are a few surprises and story twists that are revealed as the story unfolds. The movie is a fun horror-filled ride, though, and it’s one...

Happy Friday, readers! We made it though another week somehow, so why not celebrate by taking a load off and enjoying some excellent horror shorts from an array of subgenres?
Just because I felt like we could all use a laugh right about now, I’m kicking off today’s installment of Salutes Your Shorts with the dark comedy Sam Did It. Then, we have a special effects showcase to behold in Human Cattle from directors Carlos Henriques and Phil Pattison, and for a double dose of creepiness, be sure to check out both I Heard It Too and The Sermon (which I haven’t been able to get out of my head since I discovered it a few weeks ago.

After a dark and emotional season 3, The Flash witnessed a complete 360-degree change in its tone. The series started to up its fun quotient in season 4 so far with each and every passing episode. This week’s episode “Mixed Feelings” hooks us by its charm, with the showrunners sending a loud and clear signal about their new approach.
The episode starts with an enjoyable sequence of Barry (Grant Gustin) showing of his dancing skills from the Glee days. I really started loving this new improved attitude of Barry. Season four is also doing a much better job handling relationships. Whether it was Barry/Iris or the new entry Cisco/Gypsy, the lovebirds need some advice and Catilin who is a pro in these matters is happy to sort them out. She even suggested Iris for a couple therapy.

The Flash this Tuesday (The CW, 8/7c) turns in one of its funniest episodes, certainly in a long while. But it has even more going for it than that. Yes, Barry got a new suit in the Season 4 premiere. But Cisco apparently has been itching to upgrade it even further, and some of the modifications unveiled in “Mixed Signals” are pretty damn cool (if, um, occasionally problematic). The Meta...

It’s all going to change for Barry Allen on The Flash season 4. After his spell in the Speed Force over the summer, the Scarlet Speedster will return to Central City a new man. In light of criticisms over the treatment of his character in the last run, the writers have taken on board what the fans had to say and have brought Grant Gustin’s portrayal more in line with the comic book hero. At least, that’s what we’ve been promised ahead of the season premiere next week.
Another thing that will be different this year is the Flash’s costume. In place of the more maroon version Barry’s been wearing for the past few seasons, his new duds are a much brighter shade of red with some fancy gold detailing. Previously, we’ve seen glimpses of the suit here and there, thanks to the odd...

It won’t take long for Barry Allen to suit back up as The Flash and hit the streets of Central City.
In these new photos from Season 4’s second episode, the speedster rejoins Team Flash. But as showrunner Todd Helbing tells TVLine, adjusting to the group’s new dynamic won’t be easy for Barry.

Think back to when you were in high school. Do you remember that whenever you’d return from spring break or summer vacation there were always a fair amount of people rocking new hairstyles and whatnot? Or, if you’re a pro wrestler who wants their comeback to be more impactful after sitting on the sidelines for six months or more, you might upgrade your threads. Likewise, The Flash will seemingly employ that very same logic upon his liberation from the Speed Force.
Actually, we have seen Barry Allen’s new costume before, but with a bit of a twist. You see, when he traveled to 2024 last season in “The Once and Future Flash,” he met his future self who happened to be wearing the very same suit we’re discussing today.
