Top actor Asher Keddie will co-produce and star opposite David Wenham in Paramount+ Australia’s freshly-commissioned “Fake” drama-thriller series.
Keddie has a long TV career with recent credits including “The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart,” “Nine Perfect Strangers” and “Stateless.” Her movie credits include smaller roles in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and eccentric comedy “Rams.” Wenham’s filmography includes “SeaChange,” “Elvis,” “Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers & The Return of the King.”
“Fake” follows Keddie’s character, a smart and brilliant writer who thinks she has found her ideal match when she meets a successful rancher, portrayed by Wenham, on a dating app. But after she commits, she discovers that her boyfriend isn’t all he has led her to believe.

The real estate trio of Gavin Rubinstein, D’Leanne Lewis, and Simon Cohen is set for an extended stay on Amazon Prime Video, with Luxe Listings Sydney renewed for a second season.
The agents took to Instagram to announce that production was underway on new episodes of the docu-reality series, which takes a deep dive into Sydney’s luxury market.
Luxe Listing Sydney premiered globally in 240 countries and territories last week, becoming the biggest Australian Amazon Original on launch weekend.
The program is executive produced by Eureka Productions’ Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Rikkie Proost, Sophia Mogford, John Karabelas, and Anastassia Gerakas, along with Ben Scott and James Kennedy from Kentel.

Jacqui Feeney has been named chief executive of Kentel as the production company prepares to launch its premiere project, Luxe Listings Sydney, on Amazon.
Feeney brings to the business, formed in 2019, experience across content creation, distribution and rights negotiations.
She was previously managing director of Fox Networks Group and National Geographic for five years until the axing of flagship channels, FX and Nat Geo People, in 2018. She has also held senior roles at Foxtel, including director of Presto and Foxtel on demand and head of content partnerships.
Her career has also seen her be CEO of World Movies and work at Screen Nsw, ABC TV and the BBC London.
More recently Feeney has advised start-up businesses and founders on their growth strategies, and is a board director at Fishburners.
