Another John Green film adaptation is on the way -- this one set to premiere on Netflix.
The streaming giant has acquired the global rights to Green’s Christmas rom-com Let It Snow, Deadline reports. Green, of course, is one half of YouTube’s beloved VlogBrothers channel, and the novelist behind The Fault In Our Stars and Paper Towns -- which were also turned into feature films.
Let It Snow, however, is a fix-up novel that Green wrote alongside Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle. (A fix-up novel consists of individually composed works by different writers that are compiled together and edited in hindsight to create synergy). The book is about a once-in-a-century snowstorm that hits a small town on Chirstmas Eve, uncovering unexpected opportunities and complications for several high school seniors, testing their friendships, love lives, and future aspirations.

Monday night marks the moment armchair pundits everywhere have been waiting for: the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Rather than sitting back and letting the presidential candidates do all the talking, politically minded social media users took it upon themselves to join the conversation, offering up their sharpest commentary and funniest reactions - with GIFs aplenty - for all to see. The fun began in the hours leading up to the debate and continued throughout the 90-minute showdown, with celebrities, regular folks and the candidates themselves taking to Twitter and Instagram to share their feelings about the big event.

Yesterday, news broke that Paul Feig was indeed going to remake “Ghostbusters” with an all-female cast. The lucky ladies are Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon. The Internet promptly lost it. Well, a specific portion of the Internet. Now, you Could argue the merits of remaking “Ghostbusters” at all. Why not just create a new supernatural comedy and let sleeping franchises lie? But that’s not the dialogue the chuckleheads in the “#Ghostbusters women” Twitter search are having. Idina Menzel nearly suffered a major wardrobe malfunction during her sold-out, one-night-only concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York City Monday. To her credit, the stage star handled it with humor. The Tony Award winner was in the midst of performing "Take Me or Leave Me," which she sang in the 2005 movie Rent, when an audience member noticed that Menzel's leather bra was riding up. "What?" she asked. "My boob's coming out?" A crewmember then walked on stage to tend to Menzel's outfit. "She was a sexy character," Menzel said, referring to Rent's gay performance artist Maureen Johnson. The crewmember exited the stage and left Menzel alone to readjust her...

When the first images from Young Adult surfaced on the Web earlier this year, showing Charlize Theron looking bedraggled in her sweats and Mickey Mouse shirt, clutching a Pomeranian in a carrier and a Victoria’s Secret bag, several young adult authors I know took to Twitter immediately. They seemed torn between being excited about the existence of a movie about their profession, especially one written by Diablo Cody and directed by Jason Reitman, and slightly horrified by the idea of being depicted as ladies who can’t be bothered to brush their hair and put on a decent pair of pants before leaving the house. And then when they learned Charlize’s character, Mavis Gary, is kind of a crazy stalker who can’t let go of her high school years, they were a bit worried.

Paramount Pictures is set to develop an adaptation of the novel Let It Snow, according to Deadline.
The book features a collection of three novella with intertwining stories, written by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle. It was originally released in 2009 as one main novel.
Three holiday romances are intertwined into one magical holiday book. A Christmas Eve snowstorm transforms a small town into a romantic haven that can only be seen in movies. Well kind of - a cold, wet hike through the middle of nowhere wouldn't end with a delicious kiss in real life, would it?
And no one would ever imagine a trip to the Waffle House through four feet of snow would end with love, right?
Or the way back to love would be through an early morning shift at Starbucks.
These three stories present different aspects of romance -- sometimes far-fetched. Other times sweet.
