- Signed on with Glacier Mountain Spring Water Company, Inc. in 2003. Terms included a share of the company, as well as attorney and sports agent Art Weiss.
- Personal appearance and participant in the Samsung National Football League NFL Greats Football Exhibition on Miami's south beach in 2006. The flag football exhibition showcased some of the NFL's greatest former players including: Marcus Allen, Cris Carter, Mark Duper, Jamal Anderson, and Jim Plunkett.
- In July of 2006 he and free agent Vinny Testaverde filmed a commercial in a non-profit capacity to raise money for the World Trade Center Memorial. The New York Jets donated $300,000 in advertising time for this cause.
- SportsNet New York (SNY), the television home of the New York Jets and the New York Mets, signed retired New York Jet great Wayne Chrebet as a contributing analyst for SNY's Jets Post-Game Live! show in 2006. Chrebet made his SNY debut on Inside Jets Training Camp.
- Personal appearances representing the New York Jets on channel 5's Good Day New York and metro New York area stores to promote the new DVD The Complete History of the Jets (2007).
- In September 2007 he was featured alongside NFL greats Jerry Rice, Marcus Allen, Marshall Faulk and Terrell Davis for the game show Deal or No Deal: NFL Edition (#302, season 3, episode 2).
- Archive footage of him catching a pass and running for a first down was used in the Motorola Razr2 TV commercial in November of 2007 starring New York Jets Head Coach Eric Mangini.
