Although Adam Levine has been a coach on the “The Voice” since it started in 2011, he has won only three of the previous 13 seasons. And, according to our readers, a fourth win is likely to elude Levine in the current season 14.
They think that he has a far weaker team than Shelton, returning coach Alicia Keys and rookie Kelly Clarkson heading into the live round, which kicks off on April 16. Levine’s six artists earned only a combined 10 chair turns during the blind auditions. Compare that to the rosters of the other coaches: Keys (17 turns), Shelton (15 turns) and Clarkson (11 turns).
We have compiled a power ranking of the contestants now on Team Adam Levine. These would-be winners are listed from best to worst based on: their reception in the knockouts, battles and blind auditions; the resulting sales of their tracks on iTunes; and the votes of viewers like you.

Kelly Clarkson is coming on strong in her first season as a coach on “The Voice.” She heads into the first live show on April 16, which will feature the Top 24, with one of the strongest of the four teams. This one-time “American Idol” winner is rivaled only by three-time coach Alicia Keys. The two veterans of this reality competition series — Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — lag well behind according to our readers.
Clarkson’s six artists earned a combined 11 chair turns during the blind auditions. Four of these made the cut by winning a knockout while one was saved by Clarkson and the other was stolen from a rival coach after losing their knockout.

Adam Levine has the weakest team among the four coaches on season 14 of “The Voice” as the live round kicks off on April 16. He had gone into the knockout round, which just ended with eight artists who had merited a mere 13 chair turns among them at the blind auditions. Over the course of the three knockout episodes, Levine had to winnow them down to five picks. He also picked up a steal from another coach when that artist lost their battle.

Kelly Clarkson is a formidable force in her debut season as a coach on NBC’s “The Voice.” The first winner of “American Idol” drew on that experience to select the right six artists to take through to the first live round of the competition, which kicks off on April 16. During the just-concluded knockout round, she had to cut her team from eight to five. And she added one steal from the cast-offs of the other coaches.

“The Voice” coaches Kelly Clarkson and Alicia Keys recently took some time away from NBC’s reality TV competition to sing a sexy Las Vegas-style version of “Feeling Good.” In the vintage black-and-white performance, the female coaches were all smiles as they belted out Michael Buble‘s hit single. The video, which has been available online for weeks, was featured on Tuesday’s recap episode of “The Voice” that highlighted the Top 24 artists of Season 14. In case you missed it, watch Clarkson and Keys’ duet above.

“The Voice” aired the second of four episodes dedicated to the knockout round of season 14 on April 3. As it was only an hour long, it featured just three match-ups but still managed to produce a lot of drama. This is the final pre-taped stage of the competition that will cull the 32 remaining artists down to 20 for the live shows. The four coaches — Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — no longer pick the songs that their artists perform in match-ups against each other.

Keys did just that on night 1 when she nabbed Jackie Foster after Levine spurned her. For the first time in “The Voice” history, coaches were able to save artists during the knockout round on Monday night. That new feature will continue on the next three episodes as the knockouts continue Tuesday and next week on the long-running NBC reality TV show. Your days are numbered, Jaron Strom. The Voice on Monday began its Season 14 Knockouts, aka the rounds designed to discharge the last of the coaches’ cannon fodder prior to the Playoffs. So, before sitting down and tuning in, I was thinking that Jaron would soon be jettisoned from Team Blake, Gary Edwards would be dropped from Team Adam, Dallas Caroline’s nerves would at last be settled by her elimination from Team Alicia, and Jamella would get cut from Team Kelly (probably in a montage like both her Blind Audition and her Battle, poor thing!). Who actually got knocked out when past winners Jordan Smith,...

While Adam Levine has been with the “The Voice” since it began in 2011, he has won only three of the previous 13 seasons (his long-time rival, Blake Shelton has six victories). According to our readers, that elusive fourth win is likely to elude Levine in the current season 14. They think that he and Shelton have far weaker teams than returning coach Alicia Keys and rookie Kelly Clarkson heading into the knockout round, which kicks off on April 2.

Levine paired up his original dozen artists against each other in six battles. The winners of these match-ups — Mia Boostrom, Drew Cole, Gary Edwards, Rayshun Lamarr, Reid Umstattd and Jackie Verna — move on to the knockout round.

Season 14 of “The Voice” just shifted to the second stage of the competition: the battle round. Each coach has chosen 12 artists for their team based on the blind auditions. Over the course of four episodes, they will pit these 48 hopefuls against each other in sing-offs. They can keep one artist from each battle for their team while the other coaches are allowed to rescue two contestants that are passed over by their original mentor.

On March 19, season 14 of “The Voice” kicked off the first of four episodes devoted to the battle round of the competition. Over the course of four episodes, the 12 artists on each team will be split into six pairs and have to sing the same song for survival. The four coaches — Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — will then have to decide which contender in each battle to take to the knockout round.
At rehearsals, the coaches had fellow artists on hand to offer advise: Clarkson turned to Hailee Steinfeld, Keys was counseled by Shawn Mendes, Levine had Julie Michaels by his side, and Shelton brought in Trace Adkins.
