Kentaro Miura’s magnum opus, Berserk, features the character of Guts, who, according to the story, has suffered a lot and is still suffering only to achieve the one thing for which he started his journey. His suffering as a seinen manga character is one of the reasons why fans are so connected with the protagonist and love him so much.
Guts in Berserk
However, there is one character in the Shonen genre who might have suffered as much as Guts. The character in the discussion is Bartholomew Kuma, the former king of the Sorbet Kingdom and a founding member of the Revolutionary Army. One Piece fans are well-versed in what Kuma had to go through to save his daughter, Jewelry Bonney.

By now, it has already been established that Imu is going to be the main villain of One Piece. However, the veil on the character has not been lifted yet. He is still as mysterious as when he first appeared.
But that has not stopped fans from stringing together various details about the villain to figure out his powers. In one such theory, Imu’s Devil Fruit has been speculated, and it’s too good to be ignored.

The dichotomy of One Piece can make anyone balk. On the one hand, you have the World Government, fraught with Celestial Dragons, the most corrupt and ruthless people alive. And on the other hand, you have pirates, some of whom are trustworthy, but the others are no less evil than the nobles.
So, who do you choose as the rulers of the world? When no side has the correct answer, you simply have to choose the lesser of the two evils. This explains why even a corrupt body like the World Government has some morally upright people working for it: Garp, Sengoku, Kuzan, and Kuma are some examples.
But who draws the line between bearable and unbearable evil? How could Garp let Ace die in front of his eyes by the very government he serves? According to a theory, he, too, was forced to choose the lesser of the two evils.

The sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates, Usopp, has been considered the weakest member of the Straw Hats after the Wano arc in One Piece. Almost every character got a power-up during Onigashima except Usopp. Even Nami, who is considered equally as weak as Usopp in terms of strength, got the power of Zeus (Big Mom’s soul fragment).
Usopp – One Piece
Since Egghead started, he has not been able to do something major in the narrative, and one of the main reasons for this is the fact that his power level is too low compared to the future opponents that the crew is going to face. While he might get away with it during Egghead, he seriously needs to grow in terms of strength because the next arc (Elbaf village) will put a special focus on him.

Eiichiro Oda loves to base his stories on the real world. That’s probably why the betrayals and twists in One Piece feel so much more relatable. Many characters in One Piece are inspired or named after pirates who actually existed in history.
From Eustass Kid to Edward Newgate (Whitebeard) the list of inspired pirates is quite long. In fact, even the beloved swordsman Zoro is a member of the club.
Who inspired Zoro’s Last Name in One Piece? Zoro in One Piece
In a fan question-answer session, Eiichiro Oda revealed that Zoro‘s last name was inspired by the “Most Fierce & Cruel Pirate François l’Olonnais of the Caribbean Sea.”
François l’Olonnais was a French pirate, who was active during the 1660s in the Caribbean. The Japanese translation of l’Olonnois is Roronoa, which served as inspiration for Zoro’s last name.

If sneakiness had a name, it would be Eiichiro Oda. While Luffy’s fight against the Gorosei has distracted the fandom, the author is dropping easter eggs in places where no one would notice. The latest One Piece chapter showed the strength of the Gorosei, which alarmed Luffy into admitting they are immortal. But did you catch the slight hint that was present in the cover art of chapter 1111?
It is a cute cover art, just like the rest, which shows the Straw Hats playing with jellyfish underwater. But on careful observation, it’s not just the pirate crew, two more people are also present in the scenario, and it’s none other than Bonney and Kuma.
So, is it just a normal illustration with no external meaning to it? If you are a true One Piece fan, then you know from years of experience that underestimating Oda can only...

Most of the fan theories sound bizarre, but fans still believe them as if it could happen. For most parts, they cannot wait for Eiichiro Oda’s revelations and create their own theories.
Even though Oda’s imagination exceeds them, they are the happiest ones once they get to experience the revelations. There is a particular One Piece fan theory that explores the tale of Joyboy and how his whereabouts came to be known. It also explains Monkey D. Mangaka Eiichiro Oda sensei has a way of hiding easter eggs as minor trolls in One Piece, which later turns out to be of much greater significance than what the readers expect. And in this very manner, he just may have hidden signs here and there about who could succeed and carry on Bartholomew Kuma’s legacy in the saga.
Eiichiro Oda sensei’s One Piece Universe
While some might expect Monkey D. Luffy or Jewelry Bonney, the former Warlord of the Sea’s adoptive daughter, to be his perfect heirs, one recent fan theory implores otherwise. One Piece: 4 Possible Additions to Luffy’s Straw Hat Pirates Includes 1 Fan-Favorite Marine (Theory)
When Monkey D. Luffy set out to find the One Piece, he wanted to have ten members on his crew. Along his journey, he found several allies and many of them boarded his ship. Due to his signature Straw Hat, they came to be known as the Straw Hat Pirates. The latest one to join his crew was the former Warlord Jinbei, who joined them before the raid on Onigashima.
Jinbei is the ninth member of the Straw Hat Pirates. So, there is still one member missing from Yonko Luffy’s crew. There have been several characters who came close to joining them but could not due to personal reasons. One Piece has entered its Final Saga, and it might not be long before they find the tenth member. Fans believe four characters have the best possible chance of joining them.

The Monkey D. Family from One Piece is probably the most weird family in the entire series. Luffy, the protagonist of the series is on his way to becoming the King of the Pirates. His father, Dragon is labeled as the Worst Criminal in History. His grandfather Garp is one of the strongest members of the Navy.
Monkey D. Dragon in One Piece
Despite several appearances throughout the years and decades have passed since his introduction, Dragon, among these three family members has always remained a mystery. Not much is known about his devil fruit or his origins. As the commander of the Revolutionary Army, he aims to overthrow the World Government and the Marines’ oppression that exists in the One Piece world.
To the shock of the fans, it was recently revealed that Dragon was a part of the Navy and left them when he saw the injustice that the organization did.

One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda rarely tackles mysteries with any sort of traditional urgency. We don’t tend to find storylines that hinge on questions like “Who are they?” and “What is this?” Heck, the biggest mystery of the story (What is the One Piece?) is a complete non-factor for the main character. Instead, Oda tends to lay breadcrumbs prior to any big reveal, distributing information across a broadening mythology. Some characters know things and other characters don’t. In One Piece ’s case, it’s rarely a “mystery” as much as it’s “a thing Luffy doesn’t know yet.” This is true for the identity of Vegapunk, the inventor/doctor/scientist that was first mentioned in the anime back during the Post-Enies Lobby Arc, the arc that also first mentioned the four Emperors, so it was doing a lot of heavy lifting regarding the introduction of lingering narrative threads.

Director Shinji Kuma demonstrates a compassionate glance at the concept of aging. The two storylines of Kaori and Kenji are well-written and not underlined by the often cheesy orchestration of the genre. By adding the somewhat perverted character of Mr.

Springhill, the production, consumer product and brand consultancy company founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, is cutting some staffers while saying it’s poised to expand its total number of employees this year.
“This was an internal reorganization,” a spokesperson for the Los Angeles-based entertainment firm said. “10 positions were eliminated, and we are hiring 24 more people. The positions were largely administrative, and we are building in sales and creative.” The company has about 200 employees currently.
CEO Carter informed staffers of the layoffs and reorganization on Monday. The Springhill Company, founded in 2020 with a reported 100 million in backing from investors, rolls up multiple entertainment firms backed by James and Carter.
Those three divisions include the namesake production company, Springhill Entertainment (originally founded in 2015), which backs projects like Warner Bros.’ Space Jam: A New Legacy and the House Party revival, Adam Sandler’s basketball film Hustle on Netflix, game show The Wall...

Whoever said exes can't be friends hasn't met Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux. Despite announcing their split in 2018 after nearly three years of marriage, they have been very vocal with their support of each other, and Jennifer's recent post is just the latest example. On Sept. 19, the Friends star gave a sweet shoutout to her ex and his furry friend on her Instagram Story. "Love what these two are doing to help people who help pups who help people," she captioned a cute snap of Justin alongside his beloved dog, Kuma. "They helped save 60 dogs at @austinpetsalive yesterday." Austin Pets Alive is an organization that...

Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece has become one of the most popular anime and manga series of all time. The series has been running for over two decades and accumulated a staggering amount of episodes that puts it nearly at the 1000-episode mark. One Piece joyfully indulges in many of the aspects that make action shounen anime series so addictive and fun.
Despite the series’ influence on the rest of anime, it’s hard to maintain consistent quality after so much time. The One Piece anime is notorious for exhaustive spans of “filler,” and the vast amount of content can easily intimidate some from ever checking out the series. Funimation recently announced that their dub of One Piece has resumed and so there’s never been a better time to jump into the series. To help make the anime feel a little less impenetrable, here are some of the very...

Of the two Disneynature nature documentaries that arrive on Disney + on April 3, “Dolphin Reef” is the shorter and breezier of the two, and the one that doesn’t carry the news value of having Meghan Markle as a narrator, the way “Elephant” does. The film has also followed a meandering path to its release, coming out two years ago in France under the title “Blue” and changing its narrator from Cecile de France (for the French version) to Owen Wilson to Natalie Portman along the way.
And yet despite the delays and detours, “Dolphin Reef” is a satisfying entry in the Disneynature slate, albeit one where the dolphins in the title are upstaged by some of their supporting cast, and the reef itself is even more spectacular than the creatures who get the most screen time.

On the list of excuses not to work out, Justin Theroux's dog is arguably the most adorable. While complying with ongoing social distancing duties, the actor took to Instagram with a video of his workout on Wednesday featuring a furry friend—his rescue pit bull, Kuma. While donning a T-shirt emblazoned with a photo of Britney Spears, the star got to exercising—except his dog wasn't so into the idea. In the footage shared on his Instagram story, fans could watch Kuma distract his famous owner with licks and hugs as Theroux tried to do push-ups. At one point, Kuma even laid underneath Theroux. We get it, Kuma—workouts aren't as fun as snuggles with a...

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling: Fusion review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have the finale of the Opera Cup, which is a tournament that has no signing or fat ladies. I’m so pissed! The good news is that we’ve got Davey Boy Smith Jr. fighting Brian Pillman Jr., so you don’t have to learn any new names. Hulk Hogan Jr., here I come!
Match #1: Myron Reed defeated El Lindaman – Major League Wrestling World Middle-Weight Championship The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Before the match, Myron agrees with all the Cassius Clay comparisons that are being thrown at him, but he’s no system rat, he’s no robot. He doesn’t fit in anyone’s mold. If he’s more like anything, he’s more like Muhammad Ali because he wants justice. Reed and Lindaman stare one another down.

Olinka Berova is as sexy as Ursula Andress, but even with a new woman producer Hammer’s She sequel doesn’t give her new She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed much of a chance — the story just sits there and the kingdom of Kuma is woefully under-produced. Good photography and acting help, but one doesn’t earn high marks for the Boys from Bray.

Kuma, a dog who played “Stan” on early episodes of Disney Channel’s Dog With A Blog, and later appeared in Nick Jr.’s Mutt & Stuff, has died. He was 16 years old (just shy of 17) and suffered from complications from a recent stroke.
The original star of Dog With A Blog, Kuma was chosen out of thousands of furry Hollywood hopefuls to play the starring role of Stan, a dog who talked (via the voice of Stephen Full) and maintained a blog that covered the antics of his human family.
Set in Pasadena, the 2012-2015 run of the show centered around the children trying to keep Stan’s secret from their parents, fearing he would be taken away if discovered. However, on-set conflicts between Kuma’s owner, Sarah Clifford, and another animal trainer caused her to pull him from the show. A look-alike was subbed in for Kuma by...
