Cheating in Call of Duty seems to be rampant these days. However, for some people, that streak has ended. A huge wave of bans has hit the game, and over 58,000 accounts were hit with the permanent ban hammer.
But what’s got players even more rattled is the confirmation of their worst nightmare – these bans are permanent, and according to Activision, there weren’t any false bans.
Call of Duty Warzone and MW3 Hit With Tens of Thousands of Perma Bans
A ton of Call of Duty cheaters supposedly got banned in one big swing by Activision
According to reports from Charlieintel, the ban wave was part of a targeted enforcement operation aimed at rooting out cheat vendors and their subscribers.
With more ban waves on the horizon, it’s clear that Activision is taking a no-nonsense approach to maintaining fair play in its games.

Before re-recording sound mixer Graham Wild began work on “Our Planet,” the eight-part Netflix nature series from the British filmmaking team behind “Planet Earth,” he already knew the one marquee sequence that would dominate his time. The filmmakers had captured a 75-ton, skyscraper-sized piece of ice breaking off the Stone Glacier in Greenland and tumbling into the ocean.
“We knew this one was going to be difficult,” said Wild. “I was talking to director Adam Chapman, who said, ‘We’ve got this great big moment where we were going to have loads of music, loads of sound and I’ve got a really good idea, but I’m not sure how it’s going to work.”
What’s unique about the sequence is normally the sound team creates a layered soundtrack to place the audience in a specific environment — jungle, desert, mountaintop — but once that’s established, the environmental sound...

During its fledgling years as a film studio, the Walt Disney Company helped revolutionize the nature documentary with its True-Life Adventure series. Here, as never before, audiences could thrill to the story of seals, beavers, bears, tigers, and the rest of the creatures sharing space with us on Earth. These days, what is most striking about these early documentaries is less the physical ground they cover, and more that they come from a patient time in filmmaking. Documentaries like The Living Desert and Seal Island featured narration and music, and sometimes attempted to play up the humor of an animalistic situation, but they were still created by people who afforded their presumed audience a base level of intelligence. In some respects, these nature documentaries were born out of the insistence on...

Olivia Holt, performer of Bears anthem “Carry On” and Star of Disney Channel’s “I Didn’t Do It,” hosted a special showing of Disneynature’s Bears on the Walt Disney Studios lot and yours truly was there this morning for the family screening.
There was a raffle and giveaway for those who brought a new stuffed bear to donate to the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and our tickets, which also doubled as bookmarks, were eco-friendly to be planted later. The logo even reminded me of Disney’s animated Brother Bear.
Check out these photos from this morning’s screening.
In an epic story of breathtaking scale set against a majestic Alaskan backdrop teeming with life, Disneynature’s 2014 big-screen adventure Bears follows a bear family as impressionable young cubs are taught life’s most important lessons.
