The Black Eyed Peas are revealing why Fergie stepped away from the music group in 2017, after over 10 years of working together. In a new interview with Billboard magazine, Will.i.am, Apl.de.ap and Taboo stated that their former bandmate left the group out of a desire to devote herself to being a "great mom." Will.i.am explained, "We love her, and she's focusing on being a mom. That's a hard job, and that's what she really wants to do and we're here for her... It's really the way Fergie designed it, so we're respecting her design. We love Fergie, and we don't want anything but awesomeness for her." Apl.de.ap added, "But...

When Miley Cyrus came on board to host "Saturday Night Live" (with musical guest "The Strokes") we weren't sure how much of her recent scandals she'd actually address. Turns out she's comfortable making bong jokes, but when it comes to the comments her father Billy Ray made about her to GQ Magazine, not so much.
If anything, though, the "SNL" appearance went a long way in rehabilitating Miley's image. Her "downward spiral" can't be too bad if she's able to turn out a well-executed live show, right? And it was well-executed. Miley did some surprisingly good impressions of Lindsay Lohan, Fergie, and Justin Bieber. Most of her skits involved singing, and she wasn't afraid to look a little silly -- which is key in a "SNL" host.

The Black Eyed Peas promised a party at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday (February 6), and the pop supernovas definitely delivered, with a performance teeming with lights, dancers and surprise appearances from celebrity pals.
Following a Chatter.com commercial that showed animated versions of the Peas showing off their social-media skills, the group kicked things off with their 2009 smash "I Gotta Feeling," descending from the ceiling on illuminated platforms onto a stage surrounded by a cluster of dancers clad in white bodysuits. The foursome led the team of fist-pumping troops in "Tron"-like getups, with Taboo sporting an outfit covered in flashing lights, will.i.am rocking a shiny hairpiece, Apl.de.ap wearing huge bright studs and Fergie vamping it up in bling-laden shoulder pads.

It's New Year's Eve and you'd rather stay home than brave the crowds at a party — fair enough. Luckily there are a handful of TV specials airing in the hours before midnight that should keep a homebody entertained until the ball drops to ring in 2010.
Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin are set to team up for their aptly named CNN show, "New Year's Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin." The pair worked together last year and are set to be joined by Lance Bass for the broadcast, which takes place in Times Square and starts at 11 p.m. The show will also feature holiday messages from U.S. soldiers stationed abroad.

This weekend's edition of "Saturday Night Live" didn't live up to the highs of the previous week (when Taylor Swift reigned supreme over just about every aspect of the show), but it still provided a handful of laughs. Host January Jones (of the critically-acclaimed television drama "Mad Men") looked a little lost at times but still turned in some memorable moments. But most of the notable highlights came courtesy of musical guests the Black Eyed Peas. The group turned in a trio of excellent performances and managed to get the normally staid "SNL" audience to make a little noise and bang around a bit.
The quartet also delivered on the comedy front. In one of the episode's first sketches, the Peas appeared as the guests on "Today," hosted by Kathy Lee Gifford (played by Kristen Wiig) and Hoda Kotb (played by newcomer Jenny Slate). During the sketch, Wiig's Gifford starts singing,...

The Black Eyed Peas were the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, with host January Jones, and they also appeared in an early sketch skewering the 4th hour of "Today" with Kathie Lee Gifford. In the last 30 seconds of the skit below, the Peas, who were supposed to be guests on the "Today" show, got sick of waiting and were angered by a drunken Kathie Lee (Kristen Wiig) singing. Fergie comes out and punches her, Taboo takes of his shoe to hit her, and best of all Apl.de.ap displays some professional wrestling moves with flying elbow drops. The hip-hop laced album has 12 tracks, including collaborations with Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams. The album-closer, for example, "Voices," features production by Timberlake, Timbaland and Nate "Danjahandz" Hills. Kanye West also offers a fast-paced rap on "Beat Goes On," the eighth track, breathlessly rapping, "I think I'm going to try something new."
