The same goes even about TV friendships: they are either ideal, where every character is ready to do whatever it takes to make his friend happy, or they are really toxic. One of the brightest examples of such friendships is Euphoria’s Maddy and Cassie. The betrayals they went through destroying each other’s lives, while declaring unconditional love to each other before is just scary…
But there are even worse stories: let’s check out these 5 other couples that have love-hate relationships.

Between appearing in a minor role for Doug Liman’s Road House, singing alongside Taylor Swift on the chart-topping hit “Fortnight,” and making history with the first-ever RIAA-certified Double-Diamond single, everything is coming up Milhouse for Post Malone. Not content to rest on his laurels, Malone is partnering with Michael Bay, Brad Fuller’s Platinum Dunes, and Vault Comics to create an all-new IP universe based on an original idea from the unstoppable auto-tune-loving artist.
According to Deadline, Malone’s idea is inspired by George Miller’s beloved thriller Mad Max: Fury Road and demonic horror films like Evil Dead. Post Malone’s universe is set in medieval Europe, where the only thing standing in the way of the horde of demons infesting the continent is a mysterious armored 18-wheeler seemingly sent back from the heavens.

The smug, arrogant Comic Book Guy (Hank Azaria), proprietor of the Android's Dungeon, first appeared in the "The Simpsons" episode "Three Men and a Comic Book". In the episode, he sold a rare and expensive copy of "Radioactive Man" #1 to the young collectors Bart (Nancy Cartwright), Milhouse (Pamela Hayden), and Martin (Russi Taylor). The comic cost $100 -- a fortune to the three young boys -- and they had to pool their money to make the sacred purchase.
The trio, however, never decided who would serve as the comic book's official caretaker, and they immediately became suspicious that one of them was angling to steal it from the other two. A "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" drama slowly unfolds. The Comic Book Guy, having seen the boys' folly beforehand, became a Mephistophelean figure, cackling at his customers' hubris.

It’s the rare actor has an opportunity to portray a real-life World War II hero and a notorious villain of American history in the space of just a few months, but the Irish-born Anthony Boyle is that guy. He’s king of the prestigious limited series in 2024 in a pair of big-ticket Apple TV+ projects. He was starring as Lieut. Harry Crosby of the Air Force’s famed Bloody Hundredth bomber group in the nine-part, $250 million epic “Masters of the Air” from the team that made “Band of Brothers” and “The Pacific,” Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman. And a few months after completing filming on that in England, Boyle started work on the seven-part historical drama “Manhunt” portraying no less than John Wilkes Booth, the man who assassinated President Abraham Lincoln. “I wanted to do kind of the opposite of what I’d just done,” Boyle says.

The Sega Genesis/Mega Drive had a fantastic run from the late ’80s through much of the ’90s. The 16-bit era was the first time gamers got to experience a meaningful console war and while you can debate whether or not it was superior to the Snes, there were so many fantastic games out there worth playing. Gaming was evolving and kids were eating well.
With about a thousand titles in its library, not every Genesis game could be a hit. There were some titles that missed the mark more than others. Presents that ruined birthdays. Rentals that ruined weekends. Trades that ruined friendships. Buyer’s remorse that can stain one’s very soul. Let’s take a second to celebrate the Genesis titles that aspired to be an earl but ended up as lowly as toe jam.
15. The Simpsons: Bart vs. The Space Mutants
There was a special strangeness to early Simpsons games.

In the "The Simpsons" episode "Future-Drama", Bart (Nancy Cartwright) and Lisa (Yeardley Smith) visit the mad scientist Professor Frink (Hank Azaria) to get a glimpse into their future. Frink has invented a future-predicting computer, and the Simpson children ask to see what they might look like as teenagers. In the year 2013, Bart is dating a cool skateboarder named Jenda (Amy Poehler) and Lisa, on her way to medical school, has had an on-again-off-again relationship with Milhouse (Pamela Hayden). Marge has been dating Krusty the Clown (Dan Castellaneta) after leaving Homer for committing a flagrant financial crime.
To ensure the episode is sufficiently surreal, there is a scene wherein the teenage Bart and the older Homer (Castellaneta) pass through a quantum tunnel and emerge on the other side with a robot they mysteriously accumulated. The robot is Bender (John Dimaggio), the drunken droid from Matt Groening's "Futurama," a series that,...

Anthony Boyle first heard of John Wilkes Booth, the actor who assassinated President Abraham Lincoln, on “The Simpsons”. The 29-year-old Irish actor reminisces about the episode: “It’s an episode where Bart is playing John Wilkes Booth and Milhouse is playing Abraham Lincoln and he turns around and says ‘Oh no, John Wilkes Booth,’ and Bart pops a cap in his ass and says hasta la vista baby which left a real imprint on my brain.” It’s funny that years later Boyle, like Bart Simpson himself, is now playing John Wilkes Booth on Apple TV’s “Manhunt,” out on March 15. He jokes that he tried to improv “eat my shorts” a couple times but that didn’t fly.
The miniseries follows Secretary of War Edwin Stanton (Tobias Menzies) after Lincoln’s assassination and the 12 day hunt for Booth based on James L. Swanson’s book of the same name.

I think we can all agree that the humans are the least interesting part of the so-called MonsterVerse franchise, the series of recent films connecting Godzilla and King Kong. The humans may be our guides through these stories, but they're all kind of blah, and it's Godzilla and Kong (and the other monsters they butt up against) we want to see. Which makes "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters," the new Apple TV+ series set in the MonsterVerse, kind of strange. While monsters do appear here, the show is very much human-focused and is thus tasked with trying to make those humans compelling in between brief glimpses of dangerous creatures. In other words, if you were hoping for a live-action Godzilla TV series, you might want to temper those expectations — the big guy barely shows up in the five episodes screened for critics. Perhaps they're saving him for the grand finale. As for Kong,...

This writer is not necessarily fond of Quebecois director Denis Côté’s experiments, which oscillate between slow-cinema, documentary, and deeply unfunny deadpan comedies. Yet his newest film Mademoiselle Kenopsia, though highly self-conscious, is strangely effective, connecting for once his formal and thematic concerns––if simply because the experiment in “boredom” is put to a more pointed use than the easy festival requirements.
At only 77 minutes, Mademoiselle Kenopsia doesn’t wear out its welcome, other than maybe a few sequences that ring tedious or suggest the film is filling time. We find our recognizable figure of the times, and modern Jeanne Dielman figure-of-sorts (Larissa Corriveau), working a job somewhere between janitor and watchwoman (like if you wanted a whole movie of that time in The Simpsons where Milhouse was a night watchman at the cracker factory Bart bought). Her job takes place in a rotting figure of the past: an abandoned...

This article contains spoilers for Futurama season 11 episode 6.
The Matt Groening-verse just got a little bigger. The latest episode of Futurama, “I Know What You Did Next Xmas,” finally confirms that The Simpsons, Futurama, and Disenchantment are connected by more than just writers and producers. But the timeline’s probably not what – or should we say when – you’re thinking.
Disenchantment is Matt Groening and Josh Weinstein’s medieval fantasy-skewing follow-up to Futurama and The Simpsons. Originally sold as an episodic comedy similar to those shows, Disenchantment is actually a coming-of-age adventure series, following Princess Bean (Abbi Jacobson) as she reckons with her future place in the kingdom of Dreamland, and her complicated past. Something that the trailer for the recently announced fifth and final season is much less coy about than previously.
Despite the vaguely Middle Age trappings, the show’s timeframe has always been somewhat nebulous, leading...

Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie are the primary draw of "The Simpsons," but the series has no shortage of uproarious side characters. One of which is Groundskeeper Willie, the cantankerous janitor at Springfield Elementary School. His first appearance was in the Season 2 episode "Principal Charming," and he's since become one of the show's most beloved characters, due in no small part to his exaggerated Scottish accent and fiery temper. But Willie is more than just a stereotype; one of the funniest recurring gags is how his blue-collar getup hides his surprisingly ripped physique. And who could forget his colorful, if confusing, insults? (Five bucks to anyone who can tell me why "croquet-playin' mint-muncher" is a putdown.)
Over the years, Willie's influence has transcended "Simpsons" fandom. He is, after all, the reason why "cheese-eating surrender monkeys" has entered the modern lexicon. Mosey on over to the "Famous Glaswegians" section of the Glasgow City Council website,...

This The Simpsons review contains spoilers.
The Simpsons Season 34 Episode 20
It is pretty apocalyptic when the locusts are everywhere, but the real monster is Rob Lowe. The Simpsons takes on the next phase of the end times in “The Very Hungry Caterpillars,” with the least teachable moments.
The Covid parody is overt, overdue to the point of last week’s news, but not quite an old joke. This is a very good breakdown of the lockdown mentality without rancor. The episode doesn’t get too preachy by getting very preachy. Extremes are funny, and The Simpsons has no problem poking wounds. The horrific atmosphere is introduced by Professor Frink, standing in for another CDC head in the form of the expert for the Center for Disgusting Caterpillars.
Frink devised a surefire hierarchy to the threat to the local community. He rates the caterpillars on a scale of ickiness, and it really sets the emotional tone.

Dr. Fenwa Milhouse wants to destigmatize “down there” care. The Chicago-based urologist stars in TLC’s Dr. Down Below, a medical reality show that explores an often-misunderstood area of healthcare. She recently talked with Showbiz Cheat Sheet about her passion for her work and what she hopes people take away from the program.
Urology encompasses more than many people realize, ‘Dr. Down Below’ star says

The first thing to know about urology? It involves more than men and their penises.
“People think urology super narrow, but it’s actually broad,” Milhouse said. In addition to dealing with “any kind of urinary issue” for men and women, urologists can treat sexual health issues in both genders, such as male infertility or pain during intercourse.

Have no fears: The Simpsons has stories for years.
The seminal cartoon created by Matt Groening is back in the headlines with the return of a fan-favourite character after 33 years.
The animated show has covered a lot of subject matter over the course of its nearly 700-episode run.
While it retains a devoted fan following across the globe, it's also been kept strangely relevant in recent years, thanks to an uncanny pattern of headlines that suggest only one thing: The Simpsons can predict the future.
From a sly mention of a Donald Trump presidency in a 20-year-old episode, to a revolutionary scientific theorem 14 years before its discovery, the series has often been months, years or even decades ahead of global news events.
While its creators have sometimes disputed the veracity of the show's status as a modern Nostradamus, The Simpsons' ability to foreshadow seemingly unforeseeable occurrences is often astounding.
