- Jennifer A. Jones was born in Atlanta, Georgia and resides there today. From an early age, she was interested in story-telling and filmmaking, performing in Cobb Childrens' Theater and various school productions. While attending Oglethorpe University, Jennifer wrote several short films including the award-winning He Wasn't There and the feature-length film Crossed Lines, which was picked up by Time Warner.
Jennifer has spent most of her career in public relations and while working as VP of PR for MacQuarium Intelligent Communications, she was presented with the first draft script for the animated film Delgo (2008), which was being developed by the company's founder. Jennifer quickly joined the writing team at Fathom Studios, MacQuarium's entertainment division, and immersed herself in rewrites. This later led to her role as producer and casting director.
Jennifer's pre-production publicity campaign for Delgo (2008) from 2000 - 2003 is recognized as one of the early examples of viral marketing online, particularly through the studio's use of message boards and a feature on the film's site called Digital Dailies. The pre-production media coverage she generated is often credited for attracting the award-winning cast to Delgo (2008).
